The celestial week of August 7, 2023, begins with the Sun rising up through the creative and glorious rays of Leo, illuminating an opportunity to experience joy and happiness with an energetic anticipation to celebrate with others in a festive atmosphere!  

In part, it may be due to the arrival of the gibbous solar phase shortly after lunch, as the first harvest of the solar year intentions occur when the Sun reaches fifteen degrees.  If the first harvest does not bear the desired fruit of those choices, there is an opportunity during the next forty-five days to realign and adjust the intentions for the next harvest period on December 21, 2023.

The key is to retain the focus on the manifestation of those intentions and revise as needed so that the true purpose of choosing intentions is to know how to create and manifest personal reality as a CEO of life!

The caveat is that a series of challenges occur over the next couple of days that can test the resolve and patience of a saint to stay on course!  The first one is a recent planetary challenge between the Sun’s position in Leo as the king of the sky with Jupiter in earthly Taurus in a first-quarter square, indicating that the desires of heaven and earth may be at cross purposes now relative to a leap of faith about investing financial resources regarding the manifestation of the solar intentions for the remaining cycle.  The key is to avoid an all-or-nothing position as digging one’s heels in over who is right or wrong will only accomplish a dug-in stalemate.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through emotionally stable Taurus with a feeling to gradually enlarge one’s vision relative to huge opportunities which have the potential to yield a huge financial return.  

However, Taurus energy is governed by Venus which is currently retrograde in Leo, the astrological symbolization of gold.  Thus, the emotional state of hesitation to invest financial resources in what could be a gold mine is worthy of consideration.  Whereas, the common sense approach would be to determine if the potential opportunity is one of value that will stand the test of time and marketability.  

Therefore, a reliable utilization of the Moon in Taurus energy is to proceed slowly without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.  Instead, invest the time and emotional energy to research the validity of the value of the opportunity, the amount of resources required to invest, and an ironclad guarantee of a return yield of the investment with interest.  Another important consideration now is that business partnerships may not be a good idea to pursue with Venus retrograde in Leo, and the Moon, Jupiter, and Uranus in cautious, slow-moving Taurus.  It’s not that others are unreliable or unsavory, it is just the nature of the current changing nature of the energy.

Before the Sun rises on August 8, a third-quarter lunar phase occurs as the second challenging energy occurs when the Moon in Taurus engages with the Sun in Leo to take responsible actions to manifest the outcomes of the current new moon cycle in Cancer that began on July 17, 2023.  However, the inherent challenge of Taurus and Leo’s energy is that both can become firmly entrenched in their respective perceptions of the necessary actions to move forward, leaving no room for compromise or negotiations to proceed. 

Thus, to manifest the outcomes of the intentions of the current lunar cycle, it is vital to come to a mutual consensus about the common values of creative actions and whether they will ultimately produce steady and reliable financial results.

Lastly, another challenge occurs as the Sun rises on August 9, as Venus retrograde in Leo and Uranus in Taurus also engage in a planetary dynamic as Venus in Leo assumes a position of courage, power, and mastery to stand its ground relative to concerns about potential unpredictable financial changes on the horizon.

Similar to the energy of the third-quarter lunar phase, a determined position from Venus retrograde in Leo and Uranus in Taurus can precipitate a conflict of interest about the goals of the Venus/Uranus cycle beginning on March 20, 2023, relative to values, relating, purpose, and resources, where neither one backs down without a meet in the middle compromise.

Fortunately, shortly after the conflicts arise with breakfast, the Moon skips into conscious communicative Gemini to seek realistic guidance from Mercury in Virgo about reasonable and workable solutions.  The caveat is that Mercury in Virgo is very conscientious about practical solutions regarding finances, so Uranus in Taurus may win this round!  

However, make no mistake Venus in Leo has not given up, it has simply retreated to bide its time for the opportunity to charm whoever is standing in the way to move out of the way!

As August 9th appears to be challenging with conflicts throughout the day, it might be a great day to take some time off from work routines and/or working out issues with others.

As the traditional workweek ends on August 11, the Moon wades into the emotional pond of sensitive Cancer to either rinse off the emotional stress of the week or wear it as a cloak of vulnerability during the next couple of days.  Yet, the power of the Moon in Cancer is to listen to what is needed to nurture the emotional quality of life or indulge in negative emotions as a badge of honor to survive them.

In the early hours of August 12, the Moon in Cancer enters into the balsamic lunar phase with the Sun in Leo with an opportunity to let go of emotional habits, emotional weight, and/or others that promote emotional distress instead of health.

As the Cancer new moon cycle is wrapping up, the experiences of this emotional cycle and the choices made to respond or react to the experiences are a preview of whether you have learned to master your emotions and therefore your personal reality, or whether they master you.
