Cosmic Insights – December 27, 2021 December 26, 2021

The celestial week of December 27, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in ambitious Capricorn illuminating an opportunity to prepare for a journey into the unknown, which may potentially lead to destiny.  While the journey may be a physical one, it is also likely that it is a metaphorical subconscious journey of the past, illuminating what needs to be released for further growth.

Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently residing in futuristic Aquarius and supports the process with the suggestion to review current circumstances from the elevated position of the Higher Self to realize that things of inner worth have more value and longevity than material possessions or going beyond the top of the corporate ladder.  Whereas, Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Venus retrograde in Capricorn indicate that a review of relationships that lack responsible actions or commitments also needs to be reconsidered.

Meanwhile, the Moon is cruising through Libra with an emotional review of relationships as well, as Venus, the ruler of Libra is reevaluating whether relationships will stand the test of time unless there is a demonstration with measurable actions and behaviors.

The lunar landscape changes subtly on the afternoon of December 28, as the Moon dips below the surface of conscious awareness into a subconscious pool of feelings around children, romance, and creativity.  While Scorpio energy is often intensely silent about feelings, the power of emotional energy now may elicit dramatic effects as the walls of repressed feelings come crashing down with the fury of a dam releasing water that has been held back with immense power, sweeping away everything in its path.  While that may be a recipe for strong emotional weather, it also has the potential power of emotional transformation as the past is released and a new beginning is at hand.

A few hours later the emotional energy expands greatly as Jupiter is submerged in an ocean of emotion as it dives into unconscious, spiritual Pisces for the next year.  Jupiter is the daily ruler of the seas, opportunities, and Pisces, so there is a big opportunity on a daily basis to utilize the hidden resources of the unconscious mind to magically create a desired reality of life through meditation, visualizations, hypnosis, music, and art.  The key is to allow inspiration to guide the process of realizing the vision of your life with imagination, and a belief that anything is possible!

On another note and lower vibration, Pisces also personifies victim energy and can increase states of emotional depression, hopelessness, sadness, grief with consciously realizing that is what is happening.  Thus, the key is to pay attention to what you may not be paying attention to regarding your emotional feelings, and then find a way to express them spiritually or artistically.  This is not the year to indulge in self-pity or self-medication, but to own, heal, and release negative emotions and/or limiting decisions.  Otherwise, they may become overwhelming and unconsciously self-destructive.

In the early hours of December 29, Mercury begins a new cycle of retrogradation, as it moves into the pre-shadow of the cycle at 25 degrees of Capricorn with a mandate to reassess attitudes and ideals about long-term commitments, career goals, and becoming the authoritative CEO of your life.  The preview continues until January 14, when it retrogrades at 11 degrees of Aquarius, which is where Saturn is currently positioned, so unpredictable changes may be on the horizon regarding career plans from authorities.  The key is to remain emotionally detached so you can observe the changes without taking them personally, and become inspired with new and perhaps radical solutions that work for you!

In the early hours of December 30, Mercury and Pluto unite in Capricorn with a serious commitment to ending the year on a positive note of what has been achieved throughout the year, despite the worldwide health, political, and economic challenges, which have required an individual commitment to take responsible actions without giving into public opinion or demands.

Fortunately, shortly after the workday ends, the Moon jumps into Sagittarius with more than enough enthusiasm to light up the world with fireworks and a party to end the year in cowboy style without consideration for the consequences or the hangover that is likely to follow!

Cosmic Insights – December 20, 2021 December 20, 2021

The cosmic week of December 20, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in optimistic Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to clean up the internal environment of one’s personal beliefs and philosophies that have assisted in forming one’s identity.

Fortunately, Jupiter the magnanimous ruler of Sagittarius is finishing up a year-long visit in intuitive Aquarius and is also offering another opportunity to break free from past perceptions and come into a bigger perspective about the power and responsibility of relating to positive self-values that will build a new foundation of self-confidence during the next twelve years.  Saturn, the daily ruler of Aquarius supports the new foundation by learning from the past with an inspired vision for the future.  Whereas, Uranus retrograde in Taurus encourages the process with quality values about inner worth, instead of material possessions.

To top it off with a blessing, Venus the planetary queen of self-values, relating, and resources has just begun retrograding back through earthy Capricorn with an opportunity to ascend one’s consciousness with a reevaluation of what is truly important in life.  Thus, the planetary gift for humanity during this Christmas season is an opportunity to build a firm foundation of values that will serve the higher purpose of life.  Therefore, a reading of Charles Dickens’s, Christmas Carol may be a great reminder of the meaning of life in general.

Meanwhile, the Moon in Cancer is wading through an emotional pond of feelings related to home and family relationships.  While, there is an unconscious tendency to seek nurturing, caring, and love from others, it is also important to extend those qualities to oneself instead of expecting or demanding them from others.  Therefore, there is an opportunity during the next couple of days to gift oneself those qualities as a demonstration of self-love and caring during this holiday season.

On the morning of December 21, the Sun moves into serious and authoritative Capricorn announcing the arrival of the Winter Solstice.  The significance of the Winter Solstice is a celebration of light as the Sun begins to climb back toward its highest position in the northern sky.  As such, humanity also has an opportunity to symbolically be reborn by celebrating the Light of Spirit within.  Even though the weather is getting colder, the Spirit within begins to reclaim the joy and hope of life within its heart, with an anticipation of a brighter year ahead.

On a mundane level, this is also the turning of the solar year begun at the recent Spring Equinox and is the third quarter solar phase when it is time to take responsible actions to manifest the seeds of intention planted last spring to experience prosperity and success.

Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is continuing its stay in eclectic Aquarius while it builds a foundation to manifest reality through abstract creative ideas fueled by intuitive insights.  As Aquarius energy is always on the cutting edge of technology and future-oriented ideas, now is the time to put them into action, without filtering them through traditional practices or tried and true methods.

Later in the afternoon, the Moon moves out of the emotional waters of Cancer into the fiery heart of Leo with a sign of bold courage to lovingly assert self-values regarding resources, creativity, romance, and children with authoritative power!  The caveat is that Venus is retrograde in Capricorn and it is important to know and believe that you are the authority in your life to demonstrate that power.  Otherwise, it is just an exercise in false bravado to elicit emotional drama. 

The other consideration of the Moon in Leo now is that it can be generous to a fault when its heartstrings are being pulled, so giving to others now embodies a gift from the heart as well as resources; which only adds to the positive energy of the season!

In the early hours of December 24, Saturn in Aquarius makes its final square to Uranus retrograde in Taurus with a serious and perhaps unpredictable challenge to accept that changes are blowing in the wind of time with a higher understanding of current circumstances is inevitable through intuitive insights.  The key is that the missing pieces of the puzzle regarding relationships are being put together for a clearer picture.  Thus, the valuable gift that is available to everyone is to trust the insights instead of justifying the behaviors of others you don’t value the relationship.

Shortly after, the Moon swiftly switches emotional gears as it walks into methodical Virgo, with a powerful attitude to clear the air with clear communication about the direction one is taking about serious and long-term commitments in relation to the future of hopes, wishes, and dreams.

Last but not least, Jupiter the cosmic Santa Claus is leaving Aquarius before the year ends and will not be back in Aquarius for another twelve years so he is offering a gift to humanity before he leaves, to make a wish upon a star that your hopes, wishes, and dreams shine brightly through your unique individuality during the next twelve years!

Cosmic Insights – December 13, 2021 December 13, 2021

The celestial week of December 13, 2021, begins as the Sun rises in broad-minded Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to intentionally seek a higher meaning of life by performing everyday tasks with reverence, which opens a doorway to transform feelings and life experiences.  

Jupiter, the kingly ruler of Sagittarius is currently finishing up a year-long visit in eclectic Aquarius with another opportunity to gather renewable resources to broaden the horizons of Consciousness through acknowledgment of intuitive insights and technology, during the next twelve years!  Whereas, Saturn the daily CEO of Aquarius has taken up residence in Aquarius as well and is currently solidifying a firm foundation of life by staying true to oneself.  Lastly, Uranus the transcendental ruler of Aquarius is residing in Taurus and is currently paving the road to enlightenment with a reassessment of values and the consideration of releasing the need for material possession in search of inner values leading to freedom.

Meanwhile, the Moon is racing through Aries with a fierce determination to take immediate actions in pursuit of personal desires around the home environment.  However, Mars the planetary warrior of Aries has just saddled up to travel in on the road again Sagittarius, to seek unknown horizons!  So, matters on the home front may be on the back burner during the next six weeks!

Fortunately, Jupiter in Aquarius encourages a trip away from home to clear the conscious cobwebs of recent events in preparation for the new journey on the horizon at the end of 2021, when Jupiter does a deep emotional dive into oceanic Pisces!  So head for the hill while you can, even though unusual weather and world conditions may impact the return journey back home!

Just before lunch, Mercury the planetary messenger sojourners into business-minded Capricorn, so career ambitions and goals make take priority during the remainder of 2021, as  Saturn, the authoritative CEO of Capricorn is residing in intuitive Aquarius with a mandate to breathe in the creative power of Spirit to incorporate hopes, wishes, and dreams in the career plan.

In the early hours of December 14, the Moon moves quietly into gentle Taurus with an emotional balm to soothe the soul with the reconsideration and implementation of the simple values of the quality of Christmas traditions of exchanging gifts as a ceremony of remembrance of the gifts presented to honor the universal gift of Christ Consciousness from the wise men of long ago.

Later in the evening, an emotional wobble may occur when the lunar phase becomes gibbous as the Moon in Taurus seeks the creature comforts of home, family, and good food, while the Sun in Sagittarius yearns for travel and adventures beyond the home front.  

The lunar landscape shifts on December 16, from a calm stable environment to heightened emotional activity generated by casual conversation when the Moon breezes into Gemini in the afternoon.  However, communication may become serious about the resources being spent on Christmas gifts and celebrations, as Mercury the ruler of Gemini is stationed in Capricorn and is paying attention to the bottom line without necessarily saying so.

On the evening of December 18, a flare-up may occur as subconscious personal childhood wounds of the past could be triggered around romantic relationships or children, as Mercury in Capricorn challenges Chiron in Aries.  The key is to take responsible actions to acknowledge the wounds and allow them to heal instead of projecting them onto others.

A couple of hours later, the workweek finishes on a full moon phase as the Moon in Gemini opposes the Sun in Sagittarius, offering a full-blown illumination of priorities between home, family, and career goals.  As the full moon phase is part of the Sagittarius solar eclipse/new moon cycle, it is significant information about the cooperation required between the emotional energy and the willpower necessary to realize the intentions of the next eighteen years regarding the opportunities to expand the awareness of the higher self through the Universal melting pot of consciousness!  The illumination may feel like a breath of fresh air to clear the emotional buildup of the past couple of weeks, along with a profound clarity about the direction of the next eighteen years.

Cosmic Insights – December 6, 2021 December 6, 2021

The celestial week of December 6, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in expansive Sagittarius, illuminating an opportunity to seek a deeper meaning of what one believes to be true.  Jupiter, the planetary CEO of Sagittarius is currently finishing up a year-long visit in evolutionary Aquarius with an intention to create a foundation of freedom for all of humanity to experience equality as well as a greater quality of life. 

Whereas, Saturn the daily ruler of Aquarius has been and is on board with the caveat that freedom is not free.  It is a precious gift that is earned with a commitment to be responsible for the choices made in life by unconscious and conscious thoughts, beliefs, values, actions, and behaviors, without an attitude of entitlement.

The cosmic strategy available now to set this intention in motion is to consider the purpose of personal intentions and to read the signs of life for direction by returning to ancient sources that employed love, peace, beauty, and simplicity along the journey of life.  There is also a mandate by Saturn to stay true to oneself regarding plans for the future and its possibilities by retreating in a spiritual or sacred space to do the inner work necessary to fulfill the manifestation of those future plans.

Meanwhile, the Moon is climbing the emotional mountain of Capricorn to solidify a firm foundation of positive feelings to support the values and commitments required to be happy and successful in life.  Fortunately, there is also support from all of the other planets today to accomplish the process without interference, challenges, or opposition.  

Just before sunrise on December 7, the emotional climate shifts as the Moon moves into detached Aquarius with the attitude of a scientific observer of feelings as a barometer of energy to receive intuitive insights from as guidance.  Thus, the emotional climate may feel cold and uncaring, yet it isn’t.  It is merely different, as it resonates to a unique beat that it must follow to stay true to itself.

Later in the morning, Mercury the planet of conscious awareness is currently traveling through expansive Sagittarius with an opportunity to explore the truth of personal beliefs that conflict with unconscious values related to the emotional past personified by Neptune floating through the realms of unconscious emotions in Pisces.  However, the opportunity lies in the willingness to view the belief through a different perspective and to release the past through forgiveness.  Whereas, the conflict lies in the habitual need to justify the feelings through a state of victimization. 

Shortly after midnight on December 8, Mars in Scorpio steps up to challenge the icy detachment of Jupiter in Aquarius regarding the status quo of the hopes, wishes, and dreams of the future with friends and like-minded others, with clear boundaries and assertive action of power.  Scorpio energy is very passionate while the energy of Aquarius has a whatever attitude, so the key is to find the middle ground between the two to resolve the challenges.  Thus, the solution lies at 11 degrees of Capricorn, which is the degree that Venus went into the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle on November 17, 2021, and is indicative of going after one’s life goals.

On the morning of December 9, the Moon takes a deep dive into the emotional waters of Pisces, which may trigger unconscious feelings as the ghosts of Christmas past memories float up for resolution.  Jupiter is the daily ruler of Pisces and the metaphorical cosmic Santa Claus who is currently moving through the electrical currents of Aquarius, so the memories may surface unexpectantly during Christmas traditions of decorating the tree, preparing favorite recipes, or familiar holiday songs float through the air.  So, the floodgates of feelings may flow about those who may not be present for celebrations.  The key is to experience the feelings with gratitude for the measure of love expressed in the relationship which always exists, whether someone leaves or passes away.  

On December 11, Venus and Pluto unite at 26 degrees of Capricorn with an opportunity to experience a lightness of being in a serious dance of values and personal power to be the CEO of life, instead of waiting for someone or something to make it happen for you!  The key is to be true to your authentic self and let go of the need to impress or satisfy others.
