The celestial week of January 31, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in the dazzling and brilliant rays of airy Aquarius, illuminating an opportunity to observe life from a different level of consciousness by being in charge and in control of one’s unique individuality! The essence of Aquarius energy is that of one who goes to the beat of its own drum and has no issue with rebelling if someone attempts to control them to do otherwise! Otherwise, it is perfectly happy to live and let live!
However, the Sun in Aquarius has just recently engaged in a challenging encounter with its transcendental ruler Uranus in Taurus, so pushing control agendas now may very well lead to unpredictable results!
This is also the last day of the balsamic phase of the current new moon cycle so it is wise now to accept the best and release the rest, with forgiveness and gratitude for the blessings of what was learned from past experiences, which is the purpose of observing them from a different perspective.
Meanwhile, The Moon has also just streaked into unpredictable Aquarius with an emotional detachment that makes it easier to let go of values that no longer nurtures unconditional love for oneself in preparation for the new moon cycle in Aquarius that occurs just before the day ends.
The gift of this new moon cycle in Aquarius offers an opportunity to perceive subtle changes in the atmosphere through the awareness of intuitive insights regarding the future of hopes, wishes, dreams, and friendships.
The emotional climate shifts quietly in the early morning of February 2, as the Moon dives below the surface into the territory of oceanic Pisces, churning up waves of unconscious feelings upon the mental shores of awareness regarding self-values, relationships, and resources.
The key is to keep your head and heart above water to experience the emotional healing that comes from the inherent blessings of the experience, instead of sinking down into the emotional overwhelm of victimization.
In the afternoon of February 3, the last phase of the current solar year occurs as the Sun reaches the fifteenth degree of Aquarius with an opportunity to release the intentions chosen at the Spring Equinox of 2021.
Beltane or the balsamic solar phase opens a forty-five-day doorway to consciously choose the seeds of desire for the coming solar year that occurs at the next Spring Equinox on March 20, while simultaneously releasing the intentions and efforts of the past year to a higher power for the completion of their manifestation. As it has been said, if you are manifesting your dreams on your own, then you aren’t dreaming big enough!
The key is to become consciously aware of subconscious and/or unconscious thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and actions that are the seeds you will plant in the Spring. So now is the time to clear the mind of negative thinking, so that the new solar year will yield a bountiful harvest of intentional positive desires, instead of a crop of the same old, same old.
Thus, now is a great time to cultivate the practice of weeding negative thoughts that come forward in your mind about yourself, by stopping to ask yourself, do I really want to experience this in my life?
If not, choose a positive thought that is congruent with a positive feeling. After too long, it will become a positive habit to think good thoughts about your life that lead to a positive feeling, action, behavior, and the manifestation of your desires.
Later in the evening, Mercury the planetary agent of thinking, ideas, and communication begins to move forward in authoritative Capricorn reinforcing the significance of taking responsibility for the thoughts used to create and manifest reality. While Mercury is direct, the cycle doesn’t complete until February 24, when Mercury moves out of the shadows in Aquarius, giving the green light to pursue individual hopes, wishes, and dreams through communication and connections!
On the morning of February 4, the Moon rushes into Aries with impulsive feelings and actions without considering the potential and long-term consequences with authorities. Therefore, this is not the best time to jump from the frying pan into the fire, unless you are seeking an adrenaline rush from the flames! Challenges may also occur with relationship commitments as Venus in Capricorn is moving forward and ready to settle down. Yet, Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and is cooling his heels with resistance to the idea of being tied down!
Later in the afternoon, the Sun and Saturn unite in Aquarius with a desire to seek the freedom of new horizons with a commitment to oneself to live one’s best life on their terms for themselves, instead of others.

The celestial week of January 24, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in intuitive Aquarius, illuminating an opportunity to receive inner knowledge from a council of ancestors offering guidance about the future. Saturn, the daily CEO of Aquarius and the keeper of the past is also positioned in Aquarius reinforcing the opportunity to trust the intuitive information being received without the need to distinguish the source of it. Uranus, the transcendental ruler of Aquarius is moving through Taurus emphasizing that the opportunity is providing what is needed to nurture and fertilize creativity. Whereas, Venus the goddess of relating, and Taurus is retrograde in Capricorn and currently working harmoniously with Uranus suggests that the value of the information is to observe what is around you and translate it so that others may benefit from it.
Meanwhile, the Moon is dancing through gracious Libra on a wing and a prayer with the spontaneous innocence of a child awaiting the opportunity to receive revelations and channeled information from the unconscious realms of dreams, meditation, and hypnosis without discounting the significant value of its meaning.
On another note, just before sunrise Mars traveled into business-oriented and authoritative Capricorn with a committed desire to pursue career ambitions with the powerful actions of a CEO during the next few weeks.
Just before the day ends, the Moon slips into deep and mysterious Scorpio with an opportunity to transform subconscious negative emotions and limiting decisions through communication, which opens doors to manifesting creativity and the financial resources to support it. The caveat is that those powerful feelings can also destroy creation if they are allowed to be unleashed in a state of vengeance or retaliation of perceived injustice.
On the evening of January 24, Mercury retrogrades back into Capricorn to reconsider communication recently received about hopes, wishes, dreams, creativity, romance, and children through the lens of traditional values and commitments. The key is to receive the information without taking action until February 3, when Mercury begins to move forward in Capricorn.
In the early hours of January 27, the lunar climate shifts significantly as the Moon journeys into optimistic Sagittarius with an emotional desire to take a much-needed break for a road trip into the unknown! However, Jupiter the king of Sagittarius is floating through oceanic Pisces with an unconscious feeling that it may be better to postpone travel for the time being, as unpredictable weather and/or circumstances may impact plans in a big way!
On the evening of January 28, Mercury and Pluto unite at 27 degrees of Capricorn with a powerful opportunity to receive and integrate information and messages designed to ascend one’s consciousness. The celestial week of January 17, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in reserved and serious Capricorn illuminating an opportunity to take a much-needed break from responsible commitments and briefly live in a world of its own to rejuvenate internal resources to complete the tasks that have been self-assigned. Fortunately, Saturn the CEO of Capricorn is traveling through eclectic Aquarius and has no issue with cutting to the chase to momentarily delegate tasks to others until he returns.
Whereas, Uranus the transcendental ruler of Aquarius has slowed down to almost a standstill as it prepares to move forward in a few days in Taurus. Taurus energy is similar to Capricorn as they both symbolize being grounded in practical, realistic, reasonable, and measurable means. Capricorn is the energy of mountains that stand the test of time, whereas Taurus puts down roots in simple values that grow over time into solid life-giving resources.
Thus, now is an opportune time to step back from the calling of the world to nurture one’s physical body and soul in preparation for the work that lies ahead to put down roots that will grow into prosperity and success during the next thirty and eighty-four years.
Venus, the planetary queen of Taurus is also moving backward through Capricorn with an opportunity to review what needs to be changed and shaped with the current times. The key is to use the tried and true methods of the past to shape the values necessary to achieve the success of the hopes, wishes, and dreams of the future. On the morning of January 20, the Moon strides quickly into mentally adept Virgo with an emotional desire to get to the bottom of relationship issues with the missing pieces of the puzzle which are coming through intellectual insights. The caveat is that Mercury the thinking cap of Virgo is treading backward through intuitive Aquarius, and may be more involved in contemplating abstract and original ideas instead of relating to others. The celestial week of January 10, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in reserved and earthy Capricorn, illuminating an opportunity to work together with others to manifest a desired goal, ambition, or objective. Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn supports the idea of teamwork, or as the saying goes, “teamwork makes the dream work” if everyone is contributing to the necessary efforts involved, instead of relying solely on one person to commit and follow through equally.
That is the dilemma of Capricorn, the energy is so capable of taking over the helm with apparently effortless ease, that others are comfortable with them doing so. However, Saturn is currently residing in Aquarius and has a reasonable expectation if someone is on board with plans or projects, then they are all in completely or out. Capricorn energy is also characterized as responsible, ambitious, leadership, as well as a harsh teacher of life if one does not aspire to the self-discipline of one’s personal life! As life continues to demonstrate, if one is not willing to be responsible for oneself, someone or something else will be assigned to assist you, and oops, there goes your personal freedom!
Uranus, the transcendental planetary CEO of Aquarius is currently retrograding through values-conscious Taurus, so now is an opportune time to reconsider, evaluate, and determine what is personally valuable, and are you willing to commit to the responsibility of having it?
The last planetary player in the current strategy of the Sun is that Venus the ruler of Taurus is retrograde in ambitious Capricorn, offering an opportunity to re-evaluate the commitment of relating in regards to business partnerships and significant relationships. The key is to consider the importance of the investment of personal freedom now, which will be required during the coming thirty years to realize the manifestation.
Meanwhile, the Moon is finishing up a visit in impulsive Aries and is void of course, as the Sun rises. Thus, there may be a feeling of frustration or motivation, fueled by a feeling of being bound in or restricted by the current circumstances of personal reality. However, it is also a brief opportunity to free oneself from a limiting decision that you have to be responsible for others. The end result is that everyone involves has an opportunity to experience the art of self-reliance.
Later in the morning, the Moon meanders into the quiet meadows of Taurus to reflect on the self-values and resources required to take care of oneself now and in the future. Thus, the Moon in Taurus picks up the thread of the Sun’s strategy through Venus to weave either a masterpiece of life experiences or rely on others to do it for them. The caveat is that if you do it for yourself, you get what you want instead of what others create for you.
On the afternoon of January 11, Mars in Sagittarius is seeking a new adventure to fulfill an adrenaline rush that may be lacking in the midst of the responsibilities and expectations of the new year resolutions. So there may be a desire to take a road trip to reconsider if those resolutions are desired or doable. However, Mars in Sagittarius is also engaged in an unconscious conflict with Neptune in Pisces to stick to what was initially intended, so reminders may be sent out in dreams, nature, and unconscious feelings to hold your feet to the fire to fulfill the commitments you made to yourself to create a greater quality of life on a long-term basis; instead of running away from it.
Then, on the evening of January 12, the Moon travels into communicative and mischievous Gemini for some light-hearted fun and conversation that could become a catalyst to open doors of romance and creativity as an outlet for emotional energy. The key is to not take romantic advances or intentions seriously as Venus is retrograde in Capricorn, so relationships that begin now may fade into the background quickly if serious agendas or long-term commitments are attached to flirting with emotions!
Otherwise, the emotional wobble effect of the gibbous lunar phase on January 13, may seem like others are doing a disappearing act!
Last but not least, Mercury the planetary messenger begins to retrograde in Aquarius in the early hours of January 14! Therefore, electrical energy snafu’s and erratic weather patterns of ice, snow, and rain may create havoc with air travel, technology, and computer issues. Thus, now is an opportune time to disconnect from relying on external resources or technology for routine tasks and concerns. In fact, it may be time to go old school for a few weeks and plan ahead for potential power outages with an alternative heat source, stamps to handle expenses by snail mail, and homemade food and fun to carry you through! As Aquarius energy is unpredictable, it may not be an issue at all but at least you are prepared, and you may be surprised to find out or remember how resilient you are!
