Cosmic Insights – September 16, 2024 September 15, 2024

The celestial week of September 16, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in detailed-oriented Virgo illuminating an opportunity to demonstrate the power to sway the masses with an innate ability to bring order to chaos!  Mercury, the planetary ruler of Virgo is also traveling through Virgo revealing secret motives about plans and ideas behind the scenes that catalyze the chaos.

Whereas, the position of the Earth is stationed in oceanic Pisces with an opportunity to purify and cleanse motives based in illusions and deception.  The Earth is how and where humanity grounds its energy and in Pisces, it is possible through meditation, art, music, trance states, and water sports or therapy.

Meanwhile, the Moon has dove into the deep waters of Pisces and may be stirring up unconscious emotions during the ongoing gibbous lunar phase with the Sun in Virgo.  The gibbous lunar phase has an inherent emotional wobble as impulsive actions taken at the first quarter phase are being reviewed and dissected by the Sun in Virgo which may feel vastly emotionally overwhelming to the Moon in Pisces.  Thus, it may unconsciously trigger escapism tendencies of avoidance until the emotional overwhelm subsides.  

The caveat is that a lunar eclipse occurs on September 17, when the Moon in Pisces opposes the Sun in Virgo illuminating the balance needed in consciousness between potentially overwhelming emotions, and detailed informative messages relative to what is unknown about daily work and health routines.

The key is to pay attention to emotional senses for guidance and decipher what it can mean logically before taking actions to facilitate the balance.  

The significance of this lunar eclipse is also a barometer of creativity relative to hopes, wishes, and dreams of an artistic or spiritual nature.  Therefore, the balance achieved between youthful attitudes with a desire to pass down wisdom and knowledge and diversifying talents in different directions will be the seeds of opportunities for new beginnings during the solar eclipse in October.

In the early hours of September 18, Mercury in analytical Virgo opposes Saturn retrograde in elusive Pisces illuminating the facade of long-term commitments in light of the information revealed by the lunar eclipse.  The potential fallout could clear the air of confusion and misunderstandings amid hurt feelings.  Thus,  being gentle with oneself and others is vital to being heard and understood, so that win/win solutions can be approached with a calm mind and emotional clarity.

While it is wise to let the energy settle down before making decisions about the individual and collective responsibilities of commitments, shortly after the Moon rushes into Aries with an impulsive emotional desire to address and implement solutions quickly.  However, the Moon in Aries will clash with Mars in Cancer before the day ends and may precipitate knee-jerk reactions!  Thus, the next few days may be better spent with some quality alone time and time apart from others!

In the early hours of September 20, the lunar climate settles down as the Moon slowly wanders into quiet and gentle Taurus, reflecting an emotional opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.  Thus, the next few days are vital to soak in a greater quality of life to nourish the emotional and physical senses with good food, relaxation, soothing music, and one another as summer is coming to a close.

Later in the evening, the Sun in Virgo opposes Neptune retrograde in Pisces with a detailed budget for the remainder of the year before the holiday shopping season begins with a less is more attitude!  Neptune in Pisces is not necessarily budget-minded, it is more about how it feels than what it costs!  However, this is not the Sun in Virgo’s first rodeo and it comes armed with facts, figures, and explanations!

In the early hours of September 21, Mercury in Virgo squares off with Jupiter in Gemini to challenge what appears to be a frivolous attitude about career choices that may have serious consequences.  The key is for Mercury the ruler of Virgo and Gemini to address the choices with an attitude of informed diplomacy without shutting down the enthusiasm of the potential options that Jupiter is anticipating!  Otherwise, the weekend may start on a note of unnecessary tension!
