The celestial week of September 30, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in diplomatic Libra illuminating an opportunity to leave the confront and security of socially acceptable values behind to determine independent values more in alignment with personal desires, with the awareness that a home fire burns during its absence to come back to.

Venus, the queenly ruler of Libra is moving stealthily through powerful Scorpio to repair damages to resources and relationships with congruent actions that have the potential to balance the scales of

self-indulgence through the senses to overeat or overspend frivolously to soothe the savage beast of hidden emotional pain.  The key is to seek assistance to cope with difficulties that might arise at this time of financial or health issues, instead of causing further pain to erase emotional pain.

Meanwhile, the moon is traveling through mental and physical health-conscious Virgo with a talent of bringing order to chaos through detailed analysis so now is an excellent time to tighten the belt literally and metaphorically.  

As the Moon travels through the last half of Virgo, it is balsamic to the Sun in Libra, so there is celestial support to release the emotional past in preparation for the new beginnings of the solar eclipse in Libra on October 2, 2024!

Later in the afternoon, the Sun and Mercury unite in Libra with a subtle yet transformation message to go deep within to understand abstract concepts on a higher level to achieve spiritual, mental, and physical balance.  Venus in Scorpio oversees the union with an opportunity to transform relationships that have been a struggle by renewing bonds with the power of forgiveness and love.

In the early evening of October 1, the Moon follows the Sun and Mercury into Libra with an emotional opportunity to relate to oneself by the awareness that others are mirroring what is out of balance within.  The Moon in Libra enjoys social relating as it seeks to know and understand itself through the perceptions of others.  The key is to evaluate whether the perceptions of others are true for oneself or projections of themselves.

Venus the ruler of Libra is positioned in perceptive Scorpio with the ability to see what values lie hidden subconsciously within oneself that can be owned and transformed, or repressed and thereby become the foundation of self-sabotage and destruction.  As Scorpio energy mandates, to thine own self be true, or suffer the consequences.

On the afternoon of October 2, a solar eclipse occurs in Libra with an opportunity to shift the lenses of perception relative to self-values, relationships, and resources.  This partial eclipse is part of the Saros Series that began at the South Pole in 1736, symbolizing a future with rich possibilities until it ends in 2962!   

Fast forward to this eclipse in Libra and the focus shifts to the potential of experiencing that future by relating to oneself through the duality of being the student and professor in life, depending on the relative context.  Simply put, it is the opportunity to begin a new journey of knowing oneself as both!   Thus, the greatest gain will be through teaching and learning who you are through your hierarchy of personal values as an individual.  The energy of the eclipse is challenged by Mars in Cancer to take responsible actions for the journey of becoming one’s parent instead of seeking it through others.  Then the reward is emotional healing, self-motivation, and personal freedom to live life on one’s terms, instead of being dictated by others.

The promise, potential, and energy of this eclipse will continue until March 2025 and carry a nineteen-year influence!  The key is to take a trip down memory lane to 2005 to review what was taking place then, as similar circumstances are on the horizon!  The gift is that you have nineteen years under your belt that will serve you well with different results, or be the same song, with a different verse if you didn’t get the lessons!

Before the Sun rises on October 4, the Moon joins Venus in Scorpio with an emotional temperament bent on opening up a can of whoop-ass on anyone that crosses their path with unsolicited agendas or advice!  Thus, the next couple of days are ideal for spending some quality time alone to transform subconscious negative emotions or unconscious limiting decisions, instead of projecting them onto others to avoid instantaneous karmic retribution!
