Cosmic Insights – September 20, 2021 September 19, 2021

The celestial week of September 20, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in clever and quick-thinking Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to seize power and push forward with decisions that need to be realized and grounded now.  Mercury, the planetary CEO of Virgo is currently traveling through diplomatic Libra with a message that considering, understanding, and accepting, the fragility and differences in others can lead to experiencing a greater degree of empathy for those who have difficulty operating efficiently in the world, including oneself.  

Whereas, Venus the ruler of Libra is positioned in covert Scorpio with an intention to listen and learn from those around you to determine the best course of actions indicated by Mars in Libra, by remembering you are not alone.  Whether, spiritually, physically, mentally, or emotionally, someone in your environment has likely walked the road you are on and can offer support by the sharing of their personal experiences.  The key is to glean the gold of those sharing to move forward, without becoming co-dependent.  

Fortunately, Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Libra are working together in mutual reception to take congruent actions leading to the transformation of self-values, independence, and self-reliance.

Later in the evening, a full lunar phase occurs between the Sun in Virgo and the Moon in Pisces, illuminating an opportunity to experience a balance between conscious thoughts and unconscious emotions.  However, the balance lies within the willingness to learn from the ancient mysteries for answers to the many facets of emotional situations, resulting in the potential of endless opportunities.

Just before the day ends, the Moon speeds quickly into impatient Aries with the potential for unexpected emotions to erupt from the awareness that one is the perpetrator of their personal reality and experiences.  Once the emotional earthquake subsides, there may also be a tendency to disown the feelings by projecting them onto others.  Yet, if one chooses to give them away without resolution, they will return again.  As Aries energy is ruled by Mars, and Mars is taking actions through relationship-oriented Libra, it is seeking a buddy to share the burden of emotional issues.  However, Venus, the relationship guru is in powerful and boundary enforcing Scorpio, so nice try, but no thanks!

In the afternoon of September 22, the Autumn Equinox occurs as the Sun moves into Libra under the illumination of a full harvest moon.  This day also marks the full phase of the solar year and represents the flowering of the seeds chosen at the recent Spring Equinox in March.  Therefore, this is the “harvest” of the intentions chosen for the solar year and will yield the chosen crop over the next forty-five days.

While the seeds chosen in the spring were from a personal point of individualization, the consciousness of Libra is to benefit others as well as oneself.  Thus, this powerful period is a time to experience a balance between personal desires and the sharing of self with others.  While the Moon in Aries is intent on fulfilling personal desires, the Sun in Libra is a reminder that no man is an island, and that working together for the common good of one another is a worthy harvest of the solar year.

In the early hours of September 23, Venus in emotionally powerful, Scorpio opposes Uranus in calm, reliable Taurus, highlighting the cooperation needed to balance relationship differences regarding values, resources, and relating through communicative actions of fairness and equality.   Planets in both Scorpio and Taurus can be very stubborn and set in their ways, so pushing either one into a corner can only serve to make circumstances more difficult.  The key is to find a way through the differences through values of common ground.  Otherwise, separations may occur when Uranus begins moving forward in January of 2022.  

Fortunately, the Moon settles into gentle and steady Taurus before the workday begins, offering a brief interlude of emotional stability to gain a valuable perspective on relating and resources.  However, there may still be a tendency to project unresolved feelings of insecurity onto significant others.  The key is to own them, transform them, and let them go, instead of potentially destroying relationships with fear, anger, or jealousy.
