Cosmic Insights – May 16, 2022 May 15, 2022

The celestial week of May 16, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in values-conscious Taurus illuminating an opportunity to share valuable feelings with others, although others may not be receptive to them.  The key is to share them, as nothing ventured, nothing gained.  

The caveat is that the energy of the recent lunar eclipse prior to sunrise occurred with the Sun at twenty-four degrees of Taurus opposing the Moon at twenty-four degrees of Scorpio is in effect for the next six months illuminating the need for compromise and cooperation to balance intense emotional passionate feelings with common sense and realistic outcomes.  

However, the fixed star Algol is aligned with the eclipse symbolizing the caution not to lose one’s head through fear or confusion.  Algol also personifies the battle between the forces of light and darkness, so there is also an opportunity to experience self-mastery through emotional detachment.  Another key component of current planetary awareness is the recent (May 15th) union between Venus the ruler of relating and resources with Chiron the wounded healer at fifteen degrees of Aries.  As the two unite at the Supergalaxy Equator intersection, they bring forth powerful mental impressions emerging from the Soul to give clarity, vision, and direction to the personality.  At that point, the personality knowing itself as the Soul can infuse spiritual awareness into any activity. The challenge is that Aries energy has an impulsive tendency to experience knee-jerk reactions when anything feels personal, so internal wounds of abandonment, rejection, or a lack of self-esteem may be unconsciously projected onto others.  The key is to own the values that are causing self-inflicted pain and release them instead of being a victim of them.  Lastly, the Sabian Symbol of fifteen degrees of Aries personifies the weaving of security and independence through integrating the best of the past into the present on one’s personal merits instead of expecting others to take responsibility for feelings of insecurity.

Meanwhile, the Moon is void of course in Scorpio until just before the workday starts when it bounces into enthusiastic Sagittarius (Tigger energy) emotionally ready to take on a world of opportunity related to career goals and ambitions.  Jupiter in Aries amplifies the emotional feelings with the awareness to align actions with spiritual intentions and the knowledge that a Higher Power will provide the manifestation of the vision.

In the early hours of May 18, Mars and Neptune unite in Pisces offering the emergence of new possibilities and horizons by actively using visualization skills, and the faith to dream the desired reality into manifestation.  The key is to become the dream until you can feel it as being real until it is.

Shortly after sunrise, the Moon takes up residence in serious Capricorn with an unpredictable attitude about career goals and ambitions relative to intuitive insights about the future of technology and how it applies to business ventures.  Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is flying through brilliant Aquarius now. so while those unique concepts may seem farfetched, they are actually right on the money!  Alexander Graham Bell probably received similar feedback or reactions to the concept of telephones, yet consider the evolution of it now!

Just before the day begins on May 20, the Moon joins Saturn in eclectic Aquarius reflecting a need for emotional space from the overwhelming sense of feeling the emotions of others to the point of not knowing where you begin and others end.  If you find yourself asking, where is this coming from . . .  there’s a clue that it’s not you!

Fortunately, before the day ends the Sun breezes into fun-loving Gemini to lighten the emotional heaviness and lethargic energy of the past few weeks!  As the Sun and Moon are both in air signs for the weekend, it is a great time to catch up with friends at music venues, outdoor festivals, comedy clubs, and quick road trips!

On the afternoon of May 21, the Sun and Mercury unite in Gemini known as the inferior conjunction, signaling a turning point in the Mercury retrograde cycle, known as the light at the end of the tunnel!
