Cosmic Insights – December 5, 2022 December 4, 2022

The celestial week of December 5, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in adventuresome Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to seek understanding through the power of the past coming from the inheritance of ancestors, to experience a concrete manifestation of one’s ideals.  

Jupiter, the CEO of Sagittarius is currently moving through the last degree of Pisces with the emotional power of the ocean to actualize those ideals with the power of faith that moves mountains or feeds thousands with two fishes and 5 loaves of bread.  Perhaps, the teaching also encompasses the awareness that a higher power is within to manifest miracles in life when the same faith is cultivated and becomes the foundation that life is built upon.

Jupiter in Pisces is also in an advantageous position with Pluto in Capricorn with the power to ascend consciousness as a by-product of transformation revealing that the main mountain to move lies in refusing to give power to anything outside of oneself as an authority to live by.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through peaceful Taurus with the value of being self-sufficient as a means to realize at-one-ment with all forms of life and experience peaceful co-existence amongst beings on different levels of evolution.  The caveat is that there may be a tendency to get off track, as the current gibbous lunar phase has an inherent emotional wobble energy.  Fortunately, both the Sun in Sagittarius and the Moon in Taurus have a common planetary strategy to maintain a focused strategy and materialize the intentions of the recent Sagittarius new moon cycle.

In the early hours of December 6, Mercury in optimistic Sagittarius squares off with Jupiter in elusive Pisces, which may awaken a deep sleep with dreams that plant smoke and mirror seeds about the pursuit of freedom from the past manipulation and control of others for financial gain.  The key to breaking the perceived spell is to go back to sleep with a determination to keep moving forward with personal plans and boundaries.

Later, the emotional climate shifts quickly in the afternoon as the Moon skips through carefree Gemini with an emotional strategy to free oneself of financial bondage with others, by refusing to give power to the illusions that others have power over you or your life.  If legal remedies are considered or required, the price of financial and emotional freedom is worth it!

Shortly after, Mercury moves into a responsible and ambitious Capricorn with a serious approach to taking care of others who are capable of taking care of themselves.  Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently positioned in unpredictable Aquarius so unexpected changes may be occurring behind the scenes which seem to come out of the blue, yet have been building for some time.

Before the day ends on December 7, the Sun in Sagittarius opposes Mars retrograde in Gemini on the heels of the full moon phase, suggesting that the illumination of the full Moon regarding the home, family, and career may precipitate actions now that will yield results in the middle of January 2023 when Mars moves forward in Gemini.

In the early hours of December 9, the Moon begins to float downstream in Cancer, either slipping into an emotionally despondent state or rising to the surface to feel emotions without going under because of them.  As a result, the initial feeling upon waking may be to stay under the covers in the fetal position, which may be wise to momentarily indulge that feeling as a self-care and comforting activity.

Before the workday begins, Venus in Sagittarius challenges Jupiter in Pisces over spiritual ideals or pie-in-the-sky schemes that don’t line up with cultural beliefs and philosophies.  A few hours later, an emotional confrontation may occur between the Moon in Cancer and Mercury in Capricorn as Mercury in Capricorn counteracts emotional vulnerability with a, “I got this” attitude to deliver a message that being a responsible adult is also a demonstration of self-care.

Later in the evening, Venus follows Mercury into Capricorn to reinforce the messages of Mercury that responsible commitments have long-term consequences, so a note of conservative caution may be on the horizon of the next few weeks regarding relationships and resources.
