Cosmic Insights – April 3, 2023 April 2, 2023

The celestial week of April 3, 3023, begins with the Sun rising in impulsive fiery Aries illuminating an opportunity to have one’s eyes opened relative to tense emotions around relationships. 

Mars, the reactionary warrior of Aries is wading through a pressure-cooker pond of feelings in sensitive Cancer without considering the consequences of impetuous actions.  However, the Moon is the ruler of Cancer and is mentally analyzing those feelings under a microscope in Virgo with an acute awareness of knowing what to say and when to say it during the current gibbous lunar phase, as it has an emotional tendency to wobble off of the path of the recent Aries new moon intentions.

The key is to emotionally discern the Sun’s desires in Aries before taking actions based on the emotional reactions of others, which can potentially lead to feeling safe and content in one’s environment.  This gibbous phase is a very important time in the current cycle of intentions as it is the first gibbous lunar phase of the solar year, and if the wobble takes priority over the intentions of the cycle, then it may begin a pattern of making intentions but not carrying them through for the remainder of the solar year.  Thus, it is time to straighten your crown with a reminder that you got this and carry on!

Before lunch, Mercury meanders into slow-moving Taurus to carefully consider personal self-values relative to resources, relating, and real estate investments before signing on the dotted line.  While Mercury in Taurus is slow to make decisions, when the decision is made it becomes almost set in stone!

However, shortly after Mercury in Taurus squares off with Pluto in Aquarius, and may feel pressured to make a new decision based on unexpected information which requires actions fueled by feelings to manifest hopes, wishes, and dreams with a leap of faith!

Fortunately, it is only a bump in the road as the Moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Uranus lend their support to materialize those dreams into reality, as potential delays in plans turn out to be a blessing in disguise!

On the afternoon of April 4, the Moon hurries into Libra to mend fences with undeniable charm and an attitude adjustment that might just be able to pull it off with the support and power of Pluto in Aquarius along with the least amount of damage to personal agendas.  however, the true test lies in being able to successfully navigate challenges through meditation and compromise without losing emotional composure.

It will be worth the effort on the evening of April 5, when the Sun and Chiron unite in Aries with a desire for some personal downtime to actively address emotional wounds related to abandonment and rejection with the realization of always doing the best it could with the resources it had at the time.  No need for self-recrimination, apologies, or regrets, just an awakened acceptance of deserving love and self-care of oneself.

Before the day ends, the first full moon of the solar year occurs as the Moon in Libra opposes the Sun in Aries, illuminating the cooperation required to balance personal desires with emotional agendas to sustain and support the intentions and manifestation of the seeds planted at the Spring Equinox throughout the solar year.

In the wee hours of April 7, the Moon creeps stealthily into mysterious Scorpio under the darkness of night to engage with Pluto in Aquarius in a challenging manner to take responsible actions to transform the shadow of darkness within!  While the Moon in Scorpio may elude Pluto in Aquarius momentarily, emotional transformation is on the menu every month for the next twenty years, so you may as well get started.  Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer is initially onboard for the emotional baptism through the metaphorical fires of hell as the phoenix crashes and burns, then rises up from the ashes as an eagle in flight, leaving the emotional past behind.

Before the work day begins, Mercury announces its upcoming retrograde cycle in Taurus as it moves into the pre-shadow with a preview of information regarding self-values, financial resources, and relating until April 21, when it retrogrades at fifteen degrees of Taurus until May 14, 2023.  As a planetary heads up, this retrograde cycle will play out until November as the lunar eclipse on May 5 in Taurus/Scorpio activates it for six months.  

Hence, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, so planning well now for potential unexpected changes relative to finances and relationships will be a blessing when Venus goes retrograde in Leo on July 22.
