The celestial week of November 24, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in expansive Sagittarius, illuminating an opportunity to reign in excessive optimism and aim arrows of intention with strategic desires to move ahead with manifesting those intentions of the Scorpio new moon cycle! While Jupiter, the king of Sagittarius, is retrograde in vulnerable Cancer, with a feeling of emotional overwhelm over self-imposed expectations and preparations for the holidays.

Jupiter in Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and is currently traveling through Capricorn, so there may be a temptation to skip traditional celebrations involving potential travel issues, inclement weather, and stay at home for a cozy celebration instead.

Meanwhile, the Moon in Capricorn is more than happy to accommodate those changes without any feelings of guilt or regret. As Jupiter in Cancer and the Moon in Capricorn are receiving positive energy from Venus and Mercury in Scorpio, as well as Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Pisces, it is definitely doable.

Later in the evening, Venus and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, join together to create a plan that may resolve any unsettled arrangements with impulsive actions through Mars in Sagittarius to broaden horizons with adventures away from family gatherings, to simplify and enjoy celebrations without traditional fanfare!

In the early hours of November 25, all bets are off as the Moon shakes off the earthly vibration of Capricorn for the airy essence of Aquarius, a sign that shatters, filling the environment with energy similar to that of a rebellious teenager, communicating an abrupt change of plans with emotional detachment.

As the Moon engages initially with Pluto in Aquarius, there may be an attempt to forcefully control outcomes with fervor, which may only raise the stakes of a defiant attitude. However, allowing the freedom to make individual choices with the caveat of responsibility may be the difference that makes a difference. 

On the afternoon of November 27, the Moon drifts into elusive Pisces, offering an emotional escape from the holiday festivities as if someone had let all the air out of a hot air balloon as it drifts down for a crash landing. The Thanksgiving meal has been prepared and devoured, leaving an emotional desire to take a nap before the next planned activity.

Before the day ends, responsible Saturn begins to move forward in visionary Pisces with a serious commitment to complete plans that have been on hiatus since July of 2025. While the daily ruler of Pisces is Jupiter retrograding in Cancer, the two can work together harmoniously to bring the manifestation of those plans to an expansive reality when Jupiter goes direct in March of 2026.

The Black Friday extravaganza shopping spree occurs on the day after Thanksgiving, with a glazed anticipation of filling Santa’s sleigh with more for less. The caveat is that the Moon in Pisces is between Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and may be artfully deceived with an illusory bargain without substance.  Yet Mercury, the planet of information and commerce, is still retrograde until mid-morning on November 29, so those deals may come with unintended

Thus, reading the fine print on big-ticket items and any advertising loopholes before making a commitment may save a lot of misunderstandings if returns have to be made later.
