The celestial week of October 5, 2026, begins with the Sun rising in socially relationship-oriented Libra, highlighting an opportunity to spend some time being creative with a childlike spirit, caring only about the moment at hand. However, Venus is the queenly CEO of Libra and is retrograde in emotionally mysterious Scorpio, with an agenda to review and renew internal self-values about trusting oneself to reveal the shadows within and transform hidden fears about bearing one’s soul to another.

As Venus continues to move backwards in relation to the Sun’s movement, relationships from the past may surface to be re-evaluated for what didn’t work. Thus, Venus retrograde in Scorpio is a profound opportunity to look deep into relationships as a mirror of oneself, projecting values onto others to recognize what surfaces to be healed and transformed subconsciously, to avoid attracting the same relationship dynamics over and over again.

Whereas Mars in heartwarming Leo is receiving the informative values that Venus retrograde in Scorpio is uncovering, with a plan of action to assist Venus. The caveat is that Venus and Mars are the feminine and masculine energies of relating, and are currently in the determined signs of Scorpio and Leo. So, Venus, the feminine energy, may be resistant to the charms of the masculine energy of Mars in Leo if she feels pushed beyond the boundaries of self-protection. Therefore, patience and persistence in equal balance have the potential to melt a heart encased in ice with the gentle warmth of a fireplace of caring and understanding.

Meanwhile, the Moon in Leo has already lit the fire with a slow burn of emotions to bypass feminine resistance with heartfelt devotion of authentic behaviors and expressions of caring, after handling the detachment of Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Although the Moon in Leo will have its work cut out to charm challenges presented by Mercury in Scorpio about the evidence of emotional and romantic intentions.

On the evening of October 6th, Mercury joins Venus retrograde in Scorpio in a new cycle of honest communication about relationship values, which has the potential to transform and repair relationships with forgiveness of self and others. The key lies in having the courage to accept responsibility for the willingness to initially commit to oneself, with a desire to do so.

Shortly after, the Moon in Leo goes void of course and balsamic to the Sun in Libra, offering a few days to release the emotional past with forgiveness of self and others for a new beginning of relating during the new moon cycle in Libra on October 10th. The key is to come from the heart instead of the ego.

A couple of hours later, the Moon travels into conscious Virgo to connect with a romantic interest, in which there is a magnetic attraction associated with the power of soulful emotions. The key is to communicate honestly with heartfelt emotions to clarify intentions; otherwise, trust issues may subconsciously occur with a lasting impact.

In the early hours of October 9th, the Moon moves into relationship-oriented Libra with an opportunity to review self-values about relating, financial resources, and emotional intimacy and transform them with honesty to attract powerful connections with commitments.

On the mid-morning of October 10th, a new moon cycle in Libra occurs with an opportunity for unique relationships to develop from friendships and/or like-minded others (with similar values and emotional depth. Venus is the planet of relating and is retrograde in Scorpio, so there is a compelling quality of attraction, destiny, and deja vu.

Later in the afternoon, Venus retrograde in Scorpio challenges Mars in heartfelt Leo to take actions based on emotions without knowing how the outcome unfolds, relative to relationships or joint financial partnerships. The caveat is that Venus is retrograde, so there needs to be congruent values communicated before actions can be taken with confidence and the details required about whether both are on the same page of commitment.
