The celestial week of October 16, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in justice-seeking Libra, illuminating an opportunity to anticipate and explore potential opportunities of brilliance through relating and being attuned to cosmic forces. However, Venus the planetary ruler of values and relating is positioned in communicative Virgo with a message to consciously create the opportunity with specific and intentional language to rise above the arrogance of waiting to be bestowed with the gift of being chosen.
Whereas, Mercury the planetary messenger of Virgo is in Libra and is working with Venus to join with others of like mind to fulfill the potential of experiencing great talents, wealth, rewards, and gifts within by applying talents in other directions, symbolized by a yod configuration between the Sun in Libra, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, and Neptune retrograde in Pisces. The caveat is to join with others for feedback, without the expectation that they will fulfill their potential.
Meanwhile, the Moon is treading deep emotional waters in powerful Scorpio that one can drown in, or be released and/or channeled through assertive actions relative to personal and privacy boundaries. As the Moon in Scorpio has just opposed Jupiter retrograde in Taurus, there may be some hesitancy to releasing them, however potential confrontations with others may be on the horizon as the day begins; unless there is a consensus of resolutions on the table relative to values.
The key is to communicate individual positions with respect and clarity without criticism or blame. Otherwise, a potential confrontation may become a full-blown probability later in the evening with earth-shattering consequences when the Moon in Scorpio opposes Uranus retrograde in Taurus!
Fortunately, on the afternoon of October 17, the lingering emotional storm clouds clear when the Moon traipsed joyfully into Sagittarius! While the first challenging planetary encounter with dutiful Saturn retrograde in illusive Pisces may temporarily dampen spirits, it won’t last long as the Moon saunters off happily to spread sparkling cheer and optimism to its next planetary challenge with Venus in Virgo’s analytical queries above the current status of project deadlines, and the concerns of Jupiter retrograde in Taurus about financial expenses. Yet, the Moon in Sag continues to maintain its happy-go-lucky, optimistic attitude despite the chagrin of Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter!
Relationship storms may begin brewing with the flames of discontent before the day begins on October 18, unless a balance is consciously achieved with mutual respect and consideration for individual desires and boundaries, as the Sun in Libra opposes the north node in Aries, while simultaneously aligning with the south node in Libra. The caveat is that covert agendas that appear to cooperate without intending to may call for mediation with Pluto in Capricorn to ensure that responsible commitments and agreements are adhered to.
Shortly before the day ends, Mercury in Libra joins the Sun’s opposition with the north node in Aries to reiterate the boundaries and cooperation necessary to achieve cooperative relationships, while simultaneously aligning with the south node of least resistance in Libra, so agendas will only complicate the compromises of relating, that may initiate challenges with Pluto in Capricorn to transform the issues with authoritative power if opposing sides cannot or will not meet in the middle.
However, minutes after midnight on October 20, an amicable agreement can be met as the Sun and Mercury unite with a common agenda about relationships and financial resources that will involve cooperative ideas, solutions, and elbow grease to fulfill its potential.
This union of the Sun and Mercury traveling forward in the same sign of Libra is also the origin of the next Mercury retrograde cycle in Capricorn in December of 2023. Thus, it is imperative to communicate all expectations, desires, and financial commitments with specific clarity, as they may be tested before the year ends.
Before the day ends, Mercury in Libra challenges the authority of Pluto in Capricorn’s ability to transform the nature of the new Sun/Mercury union over differences of opinions about the commitment and responsibility to fulfill the purpose of the union or become indecisive over the values and/or the course of actions to take until it is completed.

The celestial week of October 9, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in strategic Libra illuminating an opportunity to repair anything of personal value recently damaged by arrogant or egotistic values or attitudes and build a new life with elevated thoughts and viewpoints, with the faith that the worst is over.
Venus, the CEO of Libra has just walked quickly into humble Virgo with an opportunity to requalify values with positive optimism instead of critical analysis as it travels over the recent path of Mercury’s retrograde journey through Virgo. However, the keen eye of Venus in Virgo can skillfully follow the breadcrumbs that Mercury dropped as clues along the way.
Another gift of Venus in Virgo and Mercury dancing through Libra is that they are in an advantageous relationship of mutual support to create a desired quality of life with the awareness that thoughts create the values that determine a life of quality instead of one with worrisome details and negative experiences.
Meanwhile, the Moon is blazing a trail of glory in majestic Leo as an emotional indicator of an opportunity to join with others in an adventurous spirit of social gatherings of light-hearted fun. Yet, there may be a price to pay afterward when the Moon is challenged by Uranus retrograde in Taurus for squandering time and resources playing when there is work to be done.
However, all is resolved when Venus the queen of Taurus shares the purpose of the Moon socializing as play for the benefits received relative to the accomplishment of goals relative to work. While Uranus retrograde in Taurus practically perceived the Moon’s absence from work as frivolous, while the Moon in Libra, Venus in Virgo, and the Sun in Libra know that it is a form of work as conscious intentional networking with an iron fist in a velvet glove!
In the early hours of October 10, Venus in hardworking Virgo opposes Saturn retrograde in lackadaisical Pisces (from the perception of Venus) illuminates an opportunity for Venus to reframe criticism of others as unconscious projections of personal self-values instead.
While it may not seem fair to Venus in Virgo at the time, it is the less that Saturn is currently teaching, which entails that perception is a projection and a mirror of unconscious values that one has of oneself. Then, the realization and ownership of the projection is valuable information that can lead to personal empowerment!
Just before the workday begins, the Moon joins Venus in Virgo with a hard-hat attitude and an emotional perspective on how to utilize the resources of Venus for the best advantages through conscious and purposeful communication. Thus, the next couple of days are excellent for brainstorming ideas, cooperative solutions, and positive attitudes which move stalled projects forward in a spirit of teamwork that makes the dream work!
Another consideration of personally utilizing the favorable planetary energy of the Moon and Venus in Virgo, Mercury, Mars, and the Sun in Libra, Jupiter and Uranus retrograde in Taurus, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn is an opportunity to listen to one’s inner mental and emotional dialogue and use the information to consciously transform personal values, emotions, action, beliefs, purpose, attitudes, and vision that can lead to the power of enlightenment!
Later in the afternoon, Pluto begins to move forward in Capricorn with a powerful mandate to restructure the foundation of successful career plans with an attitude of authoritative responsibility regarding the path of less resistance taken during the past few months.
Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is still absent from the process of changes taking place as it is still retrograde in Pisces, and quite comfortable with leaving Pluto with the task until November when it begins to move forward. Hopefully, when Saturn returns, it will still be in charge, as Pluto in Capricorn may decide to manage a corporate takeover!
In the early hours of October 11, the Sun in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries illuminating the solutions to heal self-inflicted wounds of abandonment experienced in relationships with a greater value for oneself that was previously sought from others.
Shortly before the day ends on October 11, Mars slithers into the deep, dark, depths of powerful Scorpio with an opportunity to transform subconscious aggressive behaviors and actions with an attitude and actions that portray a powerful authoritative responsibility for the ability to destroy or create the quality of life with vengeance or forgiveness.
The caveat with Scorpio energy is that it is magnetic in nature, so what is sent out energetically in a specific context will return through experiences of a similar context with the same force and intention that it was originally sent with.
The emotional climate shifts on the evening of October 12, as the Moon joins Mercury and the Sun in Libra with a politically correct, and charming, emotional strategic agenda to fulfill personal needs and desires through others. However, the Moon in Libra is in a balsamic lunar phase with the Sun in Libra, so it is also a huge opportunity to release any agendas with expectations regarding others and resources to receive personal resources through the conscious qualification and expectations of personally providing for oneself, which frees oneself and others to live life without the control and manipulation that often comes with agendas and expectations.
Last but not least, on the afternoon of October 14, a new moon/solar eclipse cycle begins at twenty-two degrees of Libra with an opportunity to experience a sudden and easy clearing of huge obstacles, or a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest through life experiences very rapidly.
The difference in which one occurs depends on the thoughts and values preceding the onset of the eclipse energy which has an initial duration of six months with an impact over the next nineteen years!

The celestial week of October 2, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in artistic Libra offering a valuable opportunity to paint a canvas of reality with the beauty and peace of heaven on earth with a greater sense of equilibrium, as the calm after the storm prevails in light of recent impending relationship and resource upheavals. The key is to take a few moments of time to breathe in inspiration from the Creator of the universe, and then allow it to flow out without critical analysis into the creation of your life as a masterpiece of indwelling Spirit.
Venus, the feminine CEO of Libra is still holding court in queenly Leo as it continues to be a focal point of energy in three ongoing yod (The Finger of God or Destiny) configurations. While each yod has its individual identity, when the three are viewed as a whole or intertwined with one another geometrically, the star of humanity is formed with Venus being the head of the Vitruvian Man, as Leonardo Da Vinci’s artistic endeavor to relate man to nature.
With Venus as the focal point, it embodies the power of the heart to embrace humanity as a whole with unconditional love through the adjustment of attitudes that suggest superiority over one another or nature by the entitlement of race, religion, beliefs, authority, purpose, behavioral actions, or values.
The first yod occurs with Venus in Leo, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn which has been ongoing for a few weeks. While Venus is the head of the Vitruvian man, Neptune and Pluto are the feet with an opportunity to dissolve differences that presuppose victimization that controls and manipulates the whole system of humanity with the illusion of the power to do so. As such, the opportunity is one to plant new seeds of power within the individuality of humanity to ground a vision of Oneness in spirituality. Whereas, the attitude adjustment lies in gracefully surrendering the ego of separation with a heartful attitude of love and gratitude for the highest good of all.
The second yod occurs with Venus in Leo, Mars in Libra, and the Moon and Uranus in Taurus as the arms of the Vitruvian man with another opportunity to dispel any illusions of differences with a demonstration of emotionally supportive caring and behavioral actions of equality and fairness or an application of the golden rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, which leads to the enlightenment of humanity.
The third and last yod is an interaction between Venus in Leo, Mars in Libra, and Neptune retrograde in Pisces which symbolizes the head, arms, and feet of the Vitruvian man reaching out to one another in fairness, cooperation, and love that has the potential to create a new reality of humanity for all that will stand the test of eternity. The caveat is that each planet plays a significant role in creating that reality, so the attitude adjustment of Venus in Leo is to step aside from a perspective of ruling others, while Mars has Libra has to release personal agendas for gain and take actions for the good of all, and Neptune retrograde in Pisces needs to dissolve issues of victimization to control relationships.
The true reality is that we are all in this together, so a concentrated continued focus on what brings humanity together from a heart of love and peace for all concerned is the individual task of one another for its achievement.
The other consideration is that individual choices made today may come back to haunt you personally when Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto begin going direct this fact and early winter, which also impacts the whole of humanity as in the effects of chaos theory!
Meanwhile, the Moon is traveling through calm, earthy Taurus to a meeting with Mercury in Virgo, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn to lend valuable emotional support, and practical solutions of power to gain control which can stabilize the system before it socially or economically collapses under the weight of uncooperative values, beliefs, and ideas.
Minutes after midnight on October 3, the Moon skips into curious Gemini with an emotional message that may lighten the load and tension of recent and ongoing attitude adjustments and challenges. Although, an initial challenging planetary encounter with Saturn retrograde in Pisces shortly after may elicit dreams that feel restrictive, and may start the day off in a grumpy mood that starts the day off on the wrong foot. However, the moon in Gemini can quickly shift emotional gears with an impish mischievous grin while conjuring up ideas of prankish fun that takes the edge off Saturn’s harsh get-too-work attitude!
In the early evening of October 4, Mercury leaves earthy and hard-working Virgo to spend three weeks in airy, relationship-oriented Libra with an opportunity to make social connections with romantic sparks that turn into a full-blown relationship as Venus the goddess of relating is either turning up the heat of what began in early June when Venus began its journey in Leo, or douse the flames with an egotistic attitude of superiority and conditional demands.
Shortly before the workday begins on October 5, the Moon drifts into the moving river of emotional Cancer signifying impending changes regarding home and family that may be full of emotional challenges, confrontations, and opportunities to meet them with appropriate and responsible solutions instead of childish behaviors that demand attention. The celestial week of September 25, 2023, begins with the Sun rising through the rays of harmonious airy Libra, illuminating an opportunity to let go of the past regarding resources and relationships with a whole new consciousness or sense of reality with new perspectives and realizations.
Venus, the planetary ruler of charming Libra is currently moving out of the shadow in queenly Leo with a sense of detachment from what or who is being released relative to the illumination projected by the Sun in Libra. While the opportunity is present to release the past, it isn’t all love and roses as Venus is involved in a current yod configuration with Mars in Libra and Neptune in Pisces. The encounter with Mars in Libra enhances the opportunity while the interaction with Neptune retrograde in Pisces requires an attitude adjustment to see through the smoke and mirror illusions that all is not what it appears to be. The interaction between the two has a quality of hope about the potential emotional tide changing from what is desired in a romantic interlude to the reality of what it is.
Meanwhile, the Moon is assisting the letting go process around friendships, romance, children, hopes, wishes, and dreams as it is flying through emotionally detached Aquarius on a wing and a prayer. As the Moon in Aquarius is currently interacting favorably with the Sun in Libra, the opportunity to release anything or anyone with unconditional love, faith, and peace to a higher power for the highest good will open doors to experience the manifestation of the outcome, although it may come in a totally different way that originally presupposed.
Therefore, utilizing the consciousness of positive thoughts and values of the purpose of the desired manifestation is similar to creating a kite that can get off the ground with enough string to take the freedom of flight to a higher and greater destination by allowing it to go into an unintended direction!
On the evening of September 26, the lunar energy subtly shifts as the Moon slips below the surface of oceanic Pisces to dwell on dreams of romantic fantasies of being rescued by a soul mate for eternal life experiences. While the Moon in Pisces has a surreal and fated quality to it that can appear to magically pull reality out of thin air, its first planetary encounter occurs with Saturn retrograde in Pisces which may bring the Moon in Pisces swimming back to shore to emotional safety instead of continuing to drift off into unknown and illusionary destinations.
Thus, the next couple of days may become emotionally uncomfortable as the Moon in Pisces encounters attitude adjustments about relationships and resources. However, all ends well before the Moon leaves Pisces as Neptune and Pluto lend assistance to release resistance to letting go of romantic illusions to experience an internal powerful transformation to be a CEO of personal reality!
On the evening of September 28, the Moon charges into Aries with racing hoofs as it impatiently faces off with the Sun and Mars in Libra about personal emotional desires taking priority over relationship agendas of control and manipulation through a seemingly innocent ploy of cooperation. As the Moon in Aries is emotionally reactive without warning, it may be best to let sleeping dogs lie until the weekend is over! Otherwise, you may be spending it alone as the Moon in Aries demands personal me time to escape the agendas of relating without starting an unnecessary war of conflicts!

The celestial week of September 18, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in service-oriented Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to go about routines with a simplicity that speaks of silence and devotion for the sacred gift of life. Whereas, Mercury the director in charge of Virgo energy has just begun moving forward in Virgo and is eager to sit behind the scenes to project creative plans into the future.
As Virgo energy is often characterized as a hermit, it is an appropriate opportunity to utilize some alone time to quietly contemplate the messages of the shifting energy of the past couple of months before making a decision about the current path to follow in regard to service to oneself and/or others.
Meanwhile, the Moon has just slithered into powerful Scorpio with a potent emotional desire to embody simple ideals related to the cycles of life, and whether personal relationships continue to mirror similar patterns of the past. The reflection of the past offers a ray of hope to transform unhealthy habits fueled by unconscious negative emotions with conscious responsible choices and behaviors.
The subtle insights that surface from the subconscious during the next day or so are a subtle warning on the emotional radar screen as the moon transverses the deep murky waters of Scorpio that matters of cooperation are on the horizon regarding financial resources, relationships of the heart, and emotional feelings held close to the vest on September 19, as the Moon in Scorpio opposes Jupiter retrograde in Taurus while squaring off with Venus in Leo. The caveat is that Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio are all fiercely determined to hold their chosen position without giving an inch.
However, the Sun in Virgo is also opposing Neptune retrograde in Pisces at the same time, so cooperation is required to balance conscious mental and verbal communication with unconscious emotions. As the Sun is the most powerful entity in the planetary reality, it will hold reign over the rest until they fall in line with a workable solution, unless they want to feel the scorching wrath of the Sun’s heat in critical, get to the point Virgo!
Fortunately, a huge emotional shift of energy occurs in the mid-morning of September 20, as the Moon begins to blaze an emotional trail of optimism about anything in general before Jupiter the CEO of Sagittarius attempts to put out that fire with good intentional caution as it retrogrades in earthy Taurus. Yet, Jupiter has no luck with its current planetary status, so it engages Saturn retrograde in Pisces which is also ineffective in getting the Moon’s attention with its current position of watered-down authority.
Now, the Moon in Sag only has to get past the critical perception of Mercury in Virgo’s no-nonsense attitude about getting something accomplished before meeting up with Mars in Libra and Venus in Leo for an emotional adventure of fun, conversation, and mischief!

The celestial week of September 11, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in consciously analytical Virgo illuminating an opportunity to heal the mental trauma of the emotional past by releasing it without competing with the emotions it brings forward.
Mercury, the director in charge of Virgo is moving to a stationary position in Virgo symbolizing a concentration of mental energy and a message to utilize the duality of observing life experiences from both sides or with new perspectives without throwing the baby out with the bath water.
The key is to consider the gift of forgiving the past as an opportunity to move forward towards a path of personal freedom with the lessons learned from the past instead of using it to fertilize seeds of bitterness and emotional pain that will be harvested in the future.
Meanwhile, the Moon is moving gracefully through the rise of fiery emotions with the regal dignity of a powerful leader facing the fires of the heart or hell with determined courage which defies surrender. The caveat is that the balsamic lunar phase is occurring between the Sun in Virgo and the Moon in Leo which is the embodiment of courageously surrendering to the evitable endings currently taking place in the heart.
In essence, it is an opportunity to lay down the mental swords of analyzing the emotional battles within oneself with no resistance in preparation for the new moon cycle occurring in earthy Virgo on September 14.

The celestial week of September 4, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in dutiful and earthy Virgo illuminating an opportunity to lay the ground rules as secret motives are revealed regarding romantic relationships and resources. Mercury, the CEO of Virgo is also retrograde in Virgo with a message to face baser instincts with a childlike curiosity that can bring a fresh new approach to life.
Whereas, Venus in Leo which is ruled by the Sun, has just begun to move forward with the proud dignity and grace of a lion while it observes others from a distance relative to hopes, wishes, and dreams about relationships, romance, creativity, children, and resources with a redefined values about the quality of life desired.
Meanwhile, the Moon is positioned in a steady, dependable Taurus with an emotional longing for things, others, or a quality of life that currently feels out of reach. However, the Moon is favorably aligned with the Sun and Mercury in Virgo, as well as Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, so the key is to shift the focus from what appears to be unobtainable in the mind to what is desired until the feelings of having the desires are aligned with the thought and behaviors of having them fulfilled. As in fake it, until you make it, or acting as if the desires are already fulfilled until they are.
The only caveat is that Jupiter is going retrograde in Taurus just as the day begins. Thus, it is also imperative to shift a belief system that is congruent with desires, feelings, thoughts, and actions so that quality of life experiences come into alignment before the manifestation of them.
Jupiter will continue its backward journey through Taurus until December 30, 2023, so there is ample time to review, reflect, release, and reform beliefs that no longer serve the values and quality of life desired.
On the afternoon of September 5, the Moon skips into curious Gemini as the mentally emotional wheels start spinning with the messages and information being received from an unknown direction as they are not communicated verbally. Mercury, the director of Gemini is retrograde in Virgo and may not be consciously aware of what is unknowingly being broadcasted.
Thus, the next couple of days could be emotionally and mentally confusing as communication may be convoluted when expressed. The key is to become consciously aware of emotional self-talk and only communicate what is felt with specific clarity. Leave no room for doubt, otherwise, others may fill in the blanks with what they thought was communicated!
There is light at the end of the communication tunnel on the morning of September 6, as the Sun and Mercury unite in methodical Virgo with an opportunity and need to call upon the inherent knowledge within for the answers, details, and solutions required to move forward on September 15, when Mercury goes direct.
This is also the point in the Mercury retrograde cycle when stalled traffic, plans, and projects begin to move forward, seemingly inch by inch. However, to speed up the progress, mentally accelerate the progress with the awareness that there may be revisions to the final manifestation because all of the required information is currently unavailable from regular or reliable channels.
One minute after midnight on September 8, the Moon slips into emotionally sensitive Cancer under the cover of darkness, so dreams may provide information relevant to emotional concerns about home and family.
As the Moon in Cancer currently engages favorably with all of the planets except Mars in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn over the next couple of days, a safe emotional space is available to share feelings that are relevant to healing emotional issues regarding home, childhood, and family.
The only caveat is that challenges may occur with others and/or parents as the Moon in Cancer is challenged by Mars in Libra to take action about the issues, instead of first listening patiently to what feels like unburdening the soul. The irony is that sharing past or present emotional concerns is an action in itself, which may not require further action.
To finish out the Moon’s visit through Cancer over the weekend, it will oppose Pluto in Capricorn with an illumination of what is required to restore emotional power with the authority of a seasoned CEO with the ability to take responsibility for personal self-healing, instead of projecting it onto others as an expectation.

The celestial week of August 28, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in industrious mentally adept Virgo with a keen awareness to balance the mentally active thinking mind with the power of imagination and/or visualization to experience an opportunity of the oneness of Consciousness as a clear path of knowledge and understanding.
Mercury is the CEO of Virgo and the fleet-footed planetary messenger is also moving back through the degrees of Virgo that have already been traveled to reinforce the power of working or utilizing unconscious emotional information and conscious mental information in a Spirit of unity to balance the scales of consciousness available within, which can create a greater quality of life conditions externally.
Mercury in Virgo is also currently aligned with Uranus in Taurus, and the Moon and Pluto in Capricorn with a grand opportunity to take advantage of unexpected changes to transform emotional energy with the power of Pluto and the Moon in Capricorn that can lead to evolutionary enlightenment.
The key is to pay attention to the value of what is often taken for granted in the environment with gratitude and appreciation for the information embodied in the value.
Meanwhile, the Moon in Capricorn is finishing up a powerful meeting with Pluto in Capricorn with an emotional commitment to nurture the process of transformation of unconsciously giving power to perceived external authoritative illusions of the power of others or circumstances to control the nature and experiences of personal reality.
Shortly after the meeting, the Moon in Capricorn goes void-of-course until mid-morning (meaning it is done engaging with other planets until it moves into the next astrological sign. Thus, it is taking a break until it boards an emotionless 747 in Aquarius for a couple of days as an observer with emotional detachment from the expectations of others to fulfill the tasks and responsibilities of Saturn while it is retrograde in Pisces.
Yet, the Moon in Aquarius intuitively knows that a few days of downtime will offer a fresh perspective and intuitive insights to resolve potential issues of relating on the horizon as Mars has just driven into negotiating Libra with cooperative ideas, solutions, and agendas.
The caveat is that the Moon in Aquarius observes everything on the table with emotionally detached insights that fill in details about resources and commitments that have been currently overlooked or undisclosed. Another caveat is that Mars in Libra can be passive-aggressive while navigating boundaries which could lead to an uncomfortable position when the Moon in Aquarius responds with a, “whatever . . . take it or leave it,” attitude of detachment.
The energy of the lunar landscape shifts on the morning of August 30, as the Moon drifts off into dreamy, imaginative Pisces as it continues to wobble off course in the gibbous lunar phase of the ongoing Virgo new moon cycle. Yet, it is also a perfect time to realign the vision of the intentions of the cycle with a redefined version before the full moon phase occurs later in the evening as a blue moon.
A blue moon cycle is a second full moon in the same month and only occurs roughly every two and a half years. Thus, there is a suggestion that something rare or unlikely may happen as an event of conscious/unconscious oneness. Therefore, the key is to pay conscious attention to unconscious feelings about decisions and/or the direction to follow regarding the manifestation of hopes, wishes, and dreams! As the movie, Field of Dreams suggested, if you build it they will come!
On the morning of September 1, the Moon shifts gear into fast-paced Aries and may impulsively throw caution to the winds of change regarding relationships and resources, as its first planetary encounter is a face-off with Mars in Libra!
Thus, a proactive measure of protection may be a series of emotional warnings as the Moon in Aries may be very abrupt with others if they feel that their personal space is being trespassed. The celestial week of August 21, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in dignified Leo, illuminating an opportunity for transformation and a new way of being as a master of creating personal reality. The caveat is that the Sun is involved in two yod configurations with a fated quality related to attitude adjustments and variable choices to achieve that transformation.
In the first yod (a configuration of three planets in a powerful energetic dynamic) the Sun is engaged in a favorable interaction with the Moon in Libra, suggesting an opportunity to balance emotional energy and values with an open heart as the ego takes a step back from controlling resources and relationships through emotional agendas and illusions of grandeur. The other attitude adjustment required to achieve that emotional balance and which illuminates the purpose of one’s identity lies in the recognition of unconscious values of unworthiness to reap the harvest of the hard work that had been done to dissolve the illusion of separation from the Spirit within is symbolized by Neptune retrograde in Pisces.
A similar dynamic is occurring with the second yod between the Sun in Leo and Neptune retrograde in Pisces along with Pluto retrograde in Capricorn which is suggestive of an opportunity to dissolve the illusion of separation from the Spirit within to experience the power of transformation as a CEO of personal reality. Whereas, the attitude adjustment required is for the Sun in Leo to humbly set the ego aside to acknowledge that the Power within is flowing through oneself, and is not the power of oneself.
Meanwhile, the Moon in Libra is also engaged in a yod formation with Uranus in Taurus and Neptune retrograde in Pisces to balance one’s emotions relative to unpredictable changes regarding resources and relationships so that relationship issues can be resolved in light of dissolving fairy tale fantasies about how it should be, instead of how it is.
As a result, an opportunity to realign emotional values of freedom in relationships can be redefined to support the chaotic upheavals being currently experienced. The key is to refrain from taking an emotional position to validate individual perspectives that may lead to a struggle for power, instead of win/win solutions.
Later in the evening, the emotional energy shifts from negotiating in a position of fairness and a willingness to communicate, to a desire for emotional space to contemplate what has been shared before taking any action, as the Moon moves into the depths of mysterious Scorpio.
The caveat is that the Moon in Scorpio becomes an emotional detective with a scrutinizing radar seeking clues to determine if there is anything hidden in the proposed solutions. As such, the Moon in Scorpio enlists Mars and Mercury in Virgo, as well as Pluto retrograde in Capricorn to take covert actions to uncover any secret details to confirm or deny what is suspected.
On the morning of August 22, Venus retrograde in Leo may awaken in a grumpy mood, preferring to stay in bed and eat breakfast, instead of having to get up and prepare it. Regardless of the charming demeanor of Venus in Leo, Jupiter in Taurus is having none of it. If Jupiter has to get up and go to work, then so does Venus! However, both can be equally stubborn and determined to rule the turn of events, so challenges on the horizon suggest that each one go their separate ways until an agreement about relationship values can be discussed and agreed upon.
Otherwise, later as the afternoon unfolds, potential challenges in the morning may become accompanied by confrontations as Mars in Virgo opposes Neptune retrograde in Pisces. While Mars in Virgo is ready to move forward with precise actions, Neptune in Pisces is not ready to do so, as an unconscious feeling is present that there is something not quite right. The key is to pay attention to the feeling, as there not be enough information available to move forward.
In the early hours of August 23, the Sun moves quickly into methodical Virgo armed with facts, figures, a nonsensical attitude, and a plan of action to clean up what has been missed while Saturn has been retrograde and is still missing in action.
Fortunately, the Sun has the support of Mercury and Mars in Virgo, Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, as well as the Moon in Scorpio and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn on board to support the plans with a detailed analysis of recommendations to cut costs and marginalize profits with an alignment of information, values, actions, encouragement, transformational power and emotional congruency.
The only caveat is that Mercury goes retrograde in Virgo later in the afternoon, so all of the necessary information may not be readily available through regular channels until September 15, when Mercury goes direct. Thus, the key is to listen to intuitive insights for directions and information relative to financial resources, health, work routines, travel, vehicles, computers, and communication.
The energy of the lunar landscape shifts significantly in the early hours of August 24, as the Moon takes a huge optimistic leap into Sagittarius before it takes another leap of faith before the Sun comes up in Virgo when the first-quarter lunar phase occurs. While the first quarter lunar phase always feels a bit risky, this one is even more so as the energy of the Moon in Sagittarius is energetically and emotionally expansive in sharp contrast to the energy of the Sun in Virgo’s position of taking no unnecessary risks. With Mercury retrograde in Virgo, it is wise to temper the emotional enthusiasm of the Moon in Sagittarius with the logical and practical rationale of the Sun in Virgo.

The celestial week of August 14, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in supremely confident Leo as it strides across the sky in all of its grandeur, illuminating an opportunity to create lines of communication with good tidings and positive messages.
While the Sun in Leo graces the sky with the dignity of a king in command of its royal subjects, it does interact with Neptune retrograde in Pisces and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, who are both adept at holding the king accountable for the decisions that go along with the authority and power of a leader. During the ongoing process of accountability, there is a yod forming between the Sun, Neptune, and Pluto which has a quality of fated destiny about it that requires attitude adjustments from the Sun to justify a position of power executed and whether it was in good faith for the highest good or a personal purpose of gain and power.
Whereas, Venus has just exchanged politically correct values with the Sun in Leo as it continues to retrograde through the rays of the Sun with a chance to restore the nature of Spirit through ceremony, rituals, and worship.
On another note, the union of Venus and the Sun on August 13, symbolized a valuable turning point in the Venus retrograde cycle. While Venus does not begin to move forward in the retrograde cycle until September 3, it does shine a proverbial light at the end of the tunnel relative to creativity, purpose, values, relating, and resources. Thus, while caution is still a safe bet about moving too quickly when making valuable decisions, it is beginning to be a bit brighter about the direction to move forward in.
Meanwhile, the Moon has also just danced onto the emotional stage of Leo and may have some difficulty in containing emotional reactions to what is being revealed behind the scenes about resources and relationships, which could precipitate an emotional drama trauma!
However, the advantage of the Moon’s position in Leo is that it is in a balsamic lunar phase with the Sun in Leo offering a window of emotional balm to let go of the intentions seeded at the recent new moon in Cancer on July 17, 2023. It is also a short window in the cycle to release habits, emotions, and others to relieve the emotional tension of the cycle in preparation for the new moon cycle in Leo on August 16.
However, a first-quarter square or a ninety-degree angle between the Sun in Leo and Uranus in Taurus on the evening of August 15, may test stress levels as the Sun in Leo could feel misunderstood relative to creativity, children, or romance as it challenges Uranus in Taurus to take a risk relative to financial resources or relationships that have become stagnant regarding a difference of values.
In the early hours of August 16, a new moon cycle in Leo occurs on the heels of the Sun/Uranus tension-filled challenges that may have been responsible for a restless night or lack of sleep may carry over into the new cycle of energy. Yet, Venus retrograde in Leo is the ruler of Uranus in Taurus so the Sun will likely have the advantage point in this match and the cycle itself. The key is to create intentions that have built-in flexible attitudes that are open to them changing before the new moon cycle ends.
Another point of consideration is all the yod formation between the Sun, Neptune, and Pluto continues to become exact and therefore more potent, an attitude adjustment relative to recognizing that the true source of power exists when the ego takes a big step back in gratitude for the gift to experience the creative power of the Master Creator. As Proverbs 16:18 cautions, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.” (1)
The lunar climate shifts subtly on the evening of August 16, as the Moon rides into practical Virgo on a bicycle in an effort to conserve resources and a healthy appreciation for climate concerns.
As Virgo energy is precisely aware of the value of time as well as financial resources, emotional and mental energy is also being used to seek solutions relative to the action needed to preserve a healthy work atmosphere during the trip. There is also the matter of being responsible for executing routine tasks assigned by the CEO who is currently on a leave of absence.
Fortunately, the Moon in Virgo has planetary support from Mercury in Virgo for practical ideas, Mars in Virgo for a plan of action, encouragement from Jupiter in Taurus, intuitive insights from Uranus in Taurus about sound financial values, and the right use of power from Pluto in Capricorn. In fact, with such a supportive team in place, Saturn in Pisces the current CEO may find that it has been replaced when it returns!
However, the caveat is that Mercury in Virgo went into the shadow on August 3, of an upcoming retrograde cycle on August 23, suggesting that the “best-laid plans of mice and men, often go awry!” (2)
