The celestial week of February 27, 2023, begins with the Sun rising up from the artistic waters of Pisces, painting the sky with vibrant hues as it illuminates an opportunity to emerge from the unconscious dream state with emotional messages relevant to taking action with the desire to attune to the planetary rhythms of life, with the awareness of past victories and mistakes, courtesy of Jupiter the daily ruler of Pisces and Mars in Gemini the planetary messenger.
Whereas, Mercury the director of Gemini is flying through eclectic Aquarius with innovative insights which assist in rising above life’s distortion with a new approach and creative visualizations!
Meanwhile, the Moon is also moving through mercurial Gemini to support the purpose of the Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Uranus, and Venus to shift the conscious and unconscious awareness of one’s purpose, beliefs, actions, insights, individuality, and values to a higher awareness of Oneness which has the power to dissolve the differences and thereby heal the collective and individual wounds of abandonment for the highest good of all.
Fortunately, the celestial and planetary strategy also occurs in the first quarter lunar phase, so there may be a tendency to jump out of bed without a plan in action to utilize the energy with a leap of faith based on multiple emotions!
Last but not least, Saturn in Aquarius, Neptune in Pisces the transcendental king of Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn is in late degrees offering an opportunity to build onto a foundation of success with the rewards of past generations coming forward with the realization that the foundation was begun long before you were born by ancestors that survived wars, famines, depressions, pandemics, slavery, forced removed from ancestral homes by the governments, and the fall of civilizations to name a few.
Thus, the key is to decide to be the CEO of your life by letting go of the need for others to be responsible for the success or foundation of your life, and the contribution you make to future generations by doing so.

The celestial week of February 20. 2023, begins with the Sun rising up from the depths of ethereal Pisces illuminating an opportunity to retrieve unwarranted power which has been unconsciously projected onto others to ensure personal survival. The quality of Pisces energy is very elusive, like fog rising up to obscure the rays of the sun until the warmth and power of the Sun dissolves the mist of condensation revealing the clarity that was previously clouded.
Jupiter, the daily king of oceanic Pisces is currently racing through fiery Aries to support the process by taking charge to communicate boundaries and values with actions. The key is to state one’s case with persistence until the message is demonstrated with the appropriate actions of others, or try a new approach with a different behavior!
Meanwhile, the Moon has slipped into the unconscious realms of Pisces after a meeting with the Sun hours before the sun came up, opening a new cycle to consciously create a desired reality in the present with the power of emotional visualization and communication, or compound a state of victimization by continuing to live in the past.
As this new moon cycle in Pisces occurs in the balsamic solar phase of the year prior to the Spring Equinox of 2023, now is an opportune time to release the past with forgiveness, and chose new seeds of reality to plant on March 20! So grab some artistic tools, visual images of what is desired, and a vision board to create a visual image that will stir the imagination of your soul into action!
Also, as a precautionary warning, Venus also moved into impulsive Aries shortly after the new moon occurred, so some may jump out of bed ready to begin the day while others may get up on the wrong side of it! Remember to refrain from taking it personally, or unintentionally triggering sensitive feelings to avoid unnecessary confrontations or flying words and objects sailing through the air! The celestial week of February 13, 2023, begins on an enlightening note as the Sun rises up through the icy brilliance of Aquarius illuminating an opportunity to rise above the distortions of life through intuitive awareness and gather the necessary resources to sustain the foundation of one’s life.
Saturn the daily CEO of Aquarius is also moving through futuristic Aquarius with a message to commit to the foundation of personal enlightenment during the next few weeks before it leaves Aquarius for the next twenty-nine years.
As Saturn is leaving Aquarius, taking a mental inventory of the revolutionary changes that have taken place in the last two and a half years can provide insights into whether a greater degree of individuality emerged in handling the global pandemic that changed the way humans interacted with one another and their environment.
Around the world, the pandemic caused restrictions that were for the most part unimaginable, the donning of masks, vaccinations, social distancing, work interruptions, scheduling nightmares, supply chain issues, and the countless loss of lives as fear and precautions trumped the world news on a daily basis. Yet, humanity survived it. That is the nature of Saturn, it does not ask what we want to learn, it provides the lesson and you adapt, overcome, adjust, or succumb in the process. If we are wise, we adapt, adjust, and overcome the restrictions and as a result, learn just how resilient we are and are more prepared for the next round of lessons on the horizon.
Fortunately and challenging at the same time, Uranus is the evolutionary ruler of Aquarius and has been positioned in strong, silent Taurus since March of 2019, and while it did mix it up with Saturn in Aquarius from time to time in 2020 – 2022, it did provide the needle of the compass for the lessons signed up for during that time. This has been an interesting dynamic of energy as generally, Saturn is the steady hand on the wheel of life that Uranus jerks abruptly with unpredictable events and circumstances. So in a sense, the foundation of life has been jerked around with twists and turns that no one saw coming with Saturn in Aquarius while Uranus in Taurus stabilized the circumstances with simple, back-to-basics and perhaps if we were lucky, a greater value for life and the things we so often take for granted became apparent.
While all of this took place in the past couple of years when Saturn ushered in the lessons on dealing with the unknown, it was likely preparing humanity for what are unpredictable changes on the horizon as Pluto makes its entry into Aquarius in March 2023 when the process of transforming those lessons takes place. As such, humanity is on the road to evolutionary enlightenment until January of 2044, so buckle your seat belts, put away your tray tables, turn off your electronics, and get ready for the ride of your life! If you paid your dues with your attention during the past couple of years, you’ll be prepared for the unpredictable changes during the coming years, so don’t forget to thank Saturn for the lessons before it leaves Aquarius on March 23, 2023.
Also, Uranus will remain in Taurus until April of 2026, so there is still a steady hand on the wheel if Saturn in Pisces tends to drift off the road during the rest of the journey. The key is to continue redefining the quality of life with values that will stand the test of time, and you will do just fine. Now that Uranus has reached fifteen degrees of Taurus, the opportunity is at hand to evaluate every aspect of life and whether it is building onto the foundation for a greater quality of life, or stubbornly resisting the changes that would ensure it.
Currently, Venus the queen of relating and ruler of Taurus and resources is surfing the deep unconscious waves of oceanic Pisces, those values may be blurred around the edges of overwhelming confusion and a desire to escape making decisions without the clarity needed to do so.
Meanwhile, Jupiter the daily ruler of Pisces is moving impatiently through Aries with an impulsive nature to take actions without careful consideration of the long-term results that will play out over the next twelve years in a big way. Therefore, the key to taking action now is to utilize Mars the planetary supervisor of Aries is currently traveling through Gemini with a suitcase full of options to harness careless actions with information and flexible choices.
However, Mercury the planetary agent of Gemini is receiving intuitive insights as it flies through eclectic Aquarius, so while there will be multiple sources of information available, listening to the intuitive voice of knowing over the thinking voice of logic, will be a path to consider for the next few weeks. So if you don’t know the direction that your life is headed in now, just wait until you do know and you will be on the right path.
Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through mysterious Scorpio, stealthily stealing an opportunity to conspire with Venus and Neptune in Pisces to transform visions into reality sanctioned by Pluto in Capricorn! So if something or someone is doing their best to leave your life, let them go! When one door closes, another opens and if the transformation has done its work, the results of your life will be transformed! The key is that you do have to initiate the desire for the transformation and allow the Universe to take care of the details!
Later in the evening, the Moon gallops into Sagittarius without a saddle leaving a thundering message with its hooves about a desire for personal freedom, which may have the effect of throwing cold water on the elusive dreams of fairy-tale endings and romantic encounters symbolized by Venus and Neptune in Pisces.
However, Jupiter, the king of Sagittarius is racing through Aries at breakneck speed to avoid long-term commitments! Thus, Valentine’s celebrations may fall flat as Mars the planetary warrior is also quickly moving through flirty Gemini attempting to smooth talk its way out of making promises it has no intention of keeping! After all, Gemini energy likes to play with the idea of relationships, while keeping options of availability open at the same time! Yet, Mercury is moving through unpredictable Aquarius and may turn the tables of relationships with a detached attitude of “maybe we should just be friends”!
Just minutes before sunrise on February 15, Venus and Neptune unite in Pisces with rose-colored glasses that may be abruptly removed by the light of the Sun revealing the truth of people for who and what they truly are, as personal values are up for discussion or alluded to with casual conversation to evade the revelations! However, by the end of the day the Moon in Sagittarius may trample on emotional expectations in a quest for personal freedom.
On a positive note, the Venus/Neptune marriage is also an opportunity for a new perspective on relationship values that can be channeled as inspiration for creative outlets. The celestial week of February 6, 2023, begins with the Sun rising up through eclectic Aquarius, illuminating an energetic illusion as warm rays appear to fill the morning light, yet in reality are frigid cold. As such, there is also an opportunity being highlighted to reveal the true nature of oneself and others by returning to the ancient source of intuition which is absent of emotional feelings that obscure the truth.
While Saturn, the daily CEO of Aquarius is also in Aquarius providing intuitive insights as information to build upon the foundation of the future by communicating a message about the changing values of relating and resources through Uranus in Taurus.
Whereas, Venus the queen of Taurus, relating, and resources, is faced with the choice of fighting for something or reasoning through the intellect about personal opportunities relative to personal values. The key is to own those values and then take the appropriate actions to communicate a position of standing up for oneself, which may in turn call for some personal alone time to contemplate the best possible choices available to move forward.
Meanwhile, the Moon is finishing up a tour of Leo in a yod configuration with Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn with an emotional feeling that taking care of the internal state of the inner child is the primary responsibility of adults so that a healthy relationship can be cultivated with oneself, and thereby attract healthy relationships with others that are free of codependent attachment or behaviors.

The celestial week of January 30, 2023, begins with the Sun rising up through the crystallized rays of airy Aquarius, illuminating an opportunity to breathe in the essence of Spirit as a realization of inspiration and welling creative power to actualize a greater quality of life.
Saturn the daily CEO of Aquarius energy is also positioned in intuitive Aquarius with an opportunity to test the roadworthiness of the earthy vehicle to travel through the conditions of life with a mechanical attitude of checks and balances to maintain the emotional engine so that life functions smoothly.
Whereas, Uranus the evolutionary mentor of Aquarius is moving through values-conscious Taurus with a chance to integrate self-values in the context of relating which has the power to heal the spiritual relationship with oneself and thereby restore peace within through the position of Venus and Neptune in Pisces. The key is to forgive oneself and others for dwelling in a state of unconscious victimization and the illusion of abandonment.
Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through conscious Gemini with an emotional message to take some downtime and enjoy the rewards of self-confidence and authority that have been developed and achieved.
Mars in Gemini also stands nearby the Moon with another message to take action with mental control relative to situations that may be heading for a potential nose-dive disaster. Therefore, during the next couple of days, it is significant to stop and consider the long-term ramifications of actively communicating messages through impetus attitudes, while assertively maintaining personal boundaries.
The emotional climate shifts significantly on the afternoon of February 1, as the Moon wades into the emotionally sensitive pond of Cancer. With the shift, there is an opportunity to heal unconscious emotions relative to nurturing and caring for oneself as the perceived ideal mother would. Some children and mothers need a lot of attention, while some need the emotional space to grow and thrive. As the Moon’s entry into Cancer occurs during the gibbous lunar phase, there may be a tendency to wobble off the path of self-care and independence, as an unconscious feeling of abandonment floats through one’s awareness to be released, instead of wearing it as a badge of self-victimization; resulting in personal freedom and emotional peace.
Activities to facilitate the healing process of peace lies in music, art, meditation, prayer, and/or self-hypnosis. So, picking up a pen, paintbrush, potters wheel, musical instrument, and any other tools to create a vision of nurturing and caring now will assist in creating a supportive and loving emotional foundation to plant desired seeds in fertile soil.
On the evening of February 3, the Sun reaches the fifteenth degree of Aquarius announcing a shift in the yearly solar cycle begun at the recent Spring Equinox of 2022. This shift is known as the balsamic phase of the cycle, and the most significant phase, as it is the time of letting go of the past intentions of the year and choosing the new seeds of intention for 2023.
In the planting cycle, this is when the remaining crops are pulled up and the field is tilled for the new spring planting season. Seed catalogs arrive and plans are being considered to insure a healthy and bountiful crop that will support an entire season of thriving. It works the same way with planting seeds of intention to manifest a crop of hopes, wishes, and dreams!
The caveat is that the seeds are being chosen consciously and unconsciously. Therefore, if there are unconscious seeds chosen, the manifested crop may have a sense, of where did this come from?
The key to recognizing unconscious seeds lies in paying attention to what is going on in external conditions that are undesired, and reframing or replacing them with desired seeds. In short, it is time to weed the mental garden and then till the soil with positive feelings of desire and visual images of those desires to nurture and fertilize hopes, wishes, and dreams into reality!
Shortly after, the Sun in Aquarius challenges Uranus in Taurus illuminating where you are on the path of evolutionary enlightenment or rebellious revolution, through the interactions of relating with others. Both Aquarius and Taurus are indicative of stubborn resistance to the will of one another, so the challenge lies between shining one’s light and the self-values that either move the process forward into the light; or step back into the darkness of self-defeating behaviors. Thus, the challenge is a catalyst of transformation into an unknown future or remaining stuck in the values of the past.

The celestial week of January 23, 2023, begins on a note of unpredictability as the Sun rises up through the eclectic rays of Aquarius, illuminating an opportunity to experience divine healing from a higher level of consciousness of the innate ability to do so. Aquarius energy is of an intuitive nature that supersedes rational logic that is characteristic of knowing, without knowing how you know.
Saturn, the daily CEO of Aquarius is also positioned in nonconformist Aquarius with Venus and the Moon so the knowing quality is even more profound regarding relationships, resources, and emotions now and worth paying attention to. Whereas, Uranus the evolutionary or revolutionary ruler of Aquarius (depending on the mood of its erratic nature) has just begun to move forward in Taurus, so changes that have been on the back burner emerge to shift you out of a comfort zone that may have actually become a rut.
Venus and Saturn also just united in Aquarius with an opportunity to create a foundation relating to personal values of independence, freedom, and intuitive awareness to rise above the distortions of perceived and self-imposed limitations accepted from society and parental conditioning to take off the shackles of illusive programming designed to control the freedom of choices.
With the recent new moon in Aquarius and all of the planets currently moving forward, it may feel like the new calendar year has been jump-started at full speed! However, the remaining caveat is that Mercury in Capricorn will not come out of the shadow until February 6, while Mars doesn’t completely clear the shadow until March 15, so between now and then it may seem like trying to play catch up while cleaning up the past few months of delayed actions and convoluted information. The key is to move forward with the awareness that more information will be revealed by February 6, and take action with the awareness that changes may require further or different actions than previously considered.
Meanwhile, the Moon has taken the morning off in emotionally detached Aquarius until it floats into the depths of oceanic Pisces shortly before lunch. Then, the emotional switch flips abruptly and overwhelming soulful feelings may be churned up as memories of the past are triggered by songs, pictures, and phrases spoken by others. As a result, it may be more difficult to focus on the tasks at hand. Jupiter, the daily ruler of Pisces is currently moving through Aries with impatient momentum, so physical activity will help shift the energy from a trance-like state to a mentally active state courtesy of Mars in Gemini!
However, Neptune the transcendental planetary ruler of Pisces is also swimming in the undercurrents of Pisces offering a peaceful respite from the unpredictable chaotic, and seeming uncaring attitudes of current events with a reminder to take time out to meditate, pray, engage in artistic endeavors or with the unconscious mind in envisioning a greater reality of peace and calm within.
Shortly after lunch on January 25, the lunar climate shifts significantly as the Moon races into impetuous Aries to get busy and finish up what needs to be done now, as there is more to do and not enough time to get it done! However, Mars the planetary warrior of Aries is moving through quicksilver Gemini without a specific plan of action to accomplish what is required in a timely manner and is more distracted about what to do instead of doing it.
Fortunately, Mercury the planetary agent of Gemini is positioned in authoritative Capricorn and quickly brings order to impending chaos in a firm decisive manner. The key is to stop, take a few breaths, assess the situation with tasks in order of priority, and then take concise actions of delegation.
On the evening of January 26, Venus drifts into imaginative Pisces with a tendency to view the world of relating through rose-colored glasses. As a result, illusive fantasies may be more enticing than actual reality. The caveat is that Jupiter, the daily CEO of Pisces is moving through “it’s all about me, Aries”; so while the Cinderella fairytale is appealing, it may have a very different ending in reality. However, Neptune the transcendental ruler of Pisces is also in Pisces, so Venus in Pisces also provides a short period of time to indulge in visionary projects, artistic activities, and a peaceful respite from stress through meditation, daydreaming, and hypnotic trance.

The celestial week of January 16. 2023, begins with the Sun rising in authoritative Capricorn widely considered the father energy, illuminating an opportunity to ascend one’s consciousness by rising above life’s distortions. Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently flying through unpredictable Aquarius adding support to the Sun’s position to rise above life’s distortions and bring balance to situations, before it drifts off into Pisces on February 18!
Whereas, Pluto is also positioned at the head of the Capricorn board meeting with a heads-up insight received through experience and wisdom, to pay attention to the current signs as symbolic of what is being let go of in preparation for the new beginnings when Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23!
The key to remember is that Pluto in Capricorn is the transformation of power, whereas, Pluto in Aquarius is the transformation of freedom! While some will try to hang on to the past traditions and positions of power by their fingernails, ultimately they will find that true power lies in letting go! The last time that Pluto entered Aquarius was in 1778 in the midst of the American Revolution! Yes, the times are a’changing!
Meanwhile, the Moon is submerged in the powerful undercurrents of Scorpio’s emotional waters reflecting an opportunity to consciously change surrounding conditions into a higher form of existence by qualifying them with a shift in one’s consciousness of forgiveness to receive the best and release the rest!
In actuality, there is a Capricorn lesson to be learned in every experience of life, and when it is learned, integrated, and released with gratitude, the conditions change. Thus, the question to consider today, is what can be learned in this experience for the highest good? Then wait for the answer to reveal itself through the awareness of the feeling that follows, then shift the awareness of the feeling to a higher vibration. While the process may seem complicated, it isn’t. It is just an exercise of communication between the conscious mind, unconscious emotions, and the higher consciousness (where epiphanies occur), to shift the gears of awareness, and therefore the current conditions of experiences.
On January 17, the lunar landscape shifts significantly on a positive note as the Moon jumps out of the murky Scorpio waters into the Sagittarius frying pan with an optimistic attitude ready for new adventures! Now that Mars the commander of Aries is moving forward in Gemini, the general perspective is what are we waiting for? What indeed?
Could it be that while there is an impatient itching to get on with the new year, not all of the planets are on board yet? Absolutely! Mercury is still retrograde in business-minded Capricorn, while Uranus is retrograde in resistance to change Taurus!
No worries! Patience is only required for a few more days as Mercury goes forward on January 18 shortly after sunrise with a keen eye and a long look at business projects moving forward relative to career changes, commitments, and long-term financial investments. Now, Uranus is the only hold-out until January 22, kicking off the calendar year of 2023 with unpredictable changes regarding hopes, wishes, and dreams!
Shortly after Mercury goes direct, the Sun and Pluto convene in Capricorn for a powerful board meeting about the manifestation and transformation of hopes, wishes, and dreams through networking with like-minded others. However, the key to the manifestation lies in implementing the vision for the future with successful and powerful innovative ideas.

The celestial week of January 9, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in earthy and responsible Capricorn illuminating an opportunity to find a balance between work and play, in light of the realization of growing up too fast with irresponsible adults. As a result, the joy of daily living may seem elusive, while the benefit of self-reliance may be the foundation of long-term success. Yet, there is always an opportunity to make new choices to rise above the covert conditioning expectations of others and begin to live life for oneself without accepting the responsibility to take care of others.
Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is residing in freedom-seeking Aquarius and is teaching a valuable lesson about the freedom that comes from being responsible. Whereas, Uranus the revolutionary ruler of Aquarius suggests trying a new approach if others are resistant to learning the lesson!
Fortunately, Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Gemini are connecting harmoniously through unique values, curious ideas, and perceptions about those ideas, which helps to deflect the seriousness of the Sun, Mercury, and Pluto in Capricorn’s ambitious plans and career goals.
Meanwhile, the Moon is striding through fiery Leo with an opportunity to come from the heart with a demonstration of love for the gift of life that nurtures an internal fire to live one’s emotional purpose without the expectation of receiving glory or accolades in return; or propelled by a demanding pride and egotistical need for recognition and status that has not been earned or deserved. It all depends on what is driving the desire for attention, with the first choice, attention comes freely because it is the underlying intentional outcome. Whereas, with the second choice attention may be withheld because it is blatantly obvious that is the outcome!
Although, the Moon in Leo may be able to pull it off with positive interactions with Venus in Aquarius and Mars in Gemini! At least, it will make good drama, as the actress strolls on stage to steal the show!
On the morning of January 10, the lunar landscape shifts as the Moon drives into conscious Virgo, with a work-minded attitude to clean up the mental clutter of emotional distractions with a focused intention to finish up delayed projects that have been hampered by inactions for the past couple of months. However, Mercury the planetary agent of Virgo is still retrograde in Capricorn until January 18, so there is still unavailable or complete information to move forward.
On the afternoon of January 12, Mars goes direct in Gemini and the familiar Indy 500 phrase comes to mind, “drivers start your engines” to begin the roar of forward movement! Finally, plans can be put into motion, with the caveat that Mercury the planetary communicator of information will not begin forward movement until January 18, so easing into action may be a better option instead of flooring the gas pedal without clear direction! The other consideration is that even though Mars is direct, it does not clear the shadow of the retrograde cycle until March 15, with an all-clear directive!
It is similar to being stuck in traffic for two and a half months, then traffic begins to move forward but not at full speed until the cycle ends, and with Mercury retrograde, there are obstacles or delays that you can’t see yet because you are still dealing with slower traffic.
Later in the evening, the Moon dances into relationship-oriented Libra with an agenda to get one’s needs met through others, which will not set well with Jupiter in Aries who is intent on taking care of its own needs! So, perhaps the answer to salvaging the upcoming weekend is to set some boundaries with clear communication about cooperation and some downtime for “me” time!
Venus the queen of Libra is spending time in detached Aquarius and would do well to meet her own needs with a night out with the girls, while the guys hang out together as well!

The celestial first week of 2023 kicks off the new year on a note of ambition and responsibility as the Sun rises in authoritative Capricorn, illuminating an opportunity to rise above the past and present as an observer of life and reconnect with the true nature and gift of living, and then translate the meaning of it so that all may benefit from the sharing of your gift of life!
Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently moving through innovative Aquarius offering an opportunity to develop skills from tried and true methods from the past with unique ideas coupled with technology to integrate the past with the present, building onto the foundation of the future.
Whereas, Uranus the transcendental and futuristic ruler of Aquarius is currently retrograde in steady and reliable Taurus with no intention to currently move forward without a guarantee of financial security and support.
However, Venus the queen of Taurus, relating, and resources is also traveling through responsible Capricorn with a powerful lesson to discipline oneself to master authoritative self-values by processing inner thoughts and issues as a CEO to reap the rewards of self-reliant security instead of depending on others.
Meanwhile, the Moon is also positioned in values-conscious Taurus supporting the ideas of Mercury retrograde in Capricorn, the transformation of Pluto in Capricorn to claim the birthright of being the CEO of your life.
The caveat is that the Moon in Taurus has to feel emotionally and financially secure with oneself to make that monumental shift in consciousness. Yet the nature of Taurus energy is to live simply without fanfare or drama. So, perhaps the beginning of a new calendar year now is to emotionally consider the value of living a daily carefree life with the faith that all is well and already provided for, as the Moon in Taurus is also currently blessed by Neptune in Pisces to effortlessly materialize creation by the power of spiritual consciousness to experience all that is desired and required for a greater quality of life.
Later in the evening, Venus streaks into lightning-quick Aquarius on a wing, and a prayer to share innovative ideas of networking related to technology and social media. While Saturn the daily ruler of Aquarius is also in Aquarius and is intrigued by the ideas. However, Uranus, the transcendental ruler of Aquarius is retrograde in Taurus and resistant to new or risky ideas that have not been proven for sustainable. Thus, there is a push/pull energy now relative to values and resources until Uranus moves forward on January 22!
Shortly after, the Moon skips into curious and talkative Gemini who is more than ready to share the information about the unique ideas of Venus in Aquarius! However, on a note of caution, Saturn is hesitant to announce or commit to innovative changes, as Mercury the planetary agent of information and communication is retrograde in Capricorn, so while the ideas are being considered, there is not enough available information to make a commitment of action yet.
Thus, the next couple of days is favorable to entertain new concepts and ideas without implementing them until mid-January when Mercury and Mars move forward.
On the morning of January 5, the emotional energy of mentally active Gemini subtly shifts to reflective, sensitive Cancer, as feelings provide information during the next few days. The Moon’s first planetary encounter is a challenging one with Jupiter in Aries which may turn an emotional frustration into a raging fire without warning if tempers flare up as a reaction to unintentional accidents or mistakes. Suffice it to say, that taking a few deep breaths to consider the consequences of escalating circumstances in retaliation could be costly and unnecessary.
After a rocky start with Jupiter in Aries, later in the afternoon relationships may feel awkward as Venus in Aquarius is coolly detached from the sensitive feelings of the Moon in Cancer. Fortunately, the emotional distance does provide a period of time to regain an emotional perspective so that during the early hours of January 6, solutions become apparent with win/win cooperative attitudes to balance the scales of emotional and material security with a unique approach and innovative ideas.

The celestial week of December 26, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in responsible Capricorn illuminating an opportunity to continue celebrating the holiday season by choosing to get on with one’s life, even if others do not. Now that Christmas has come and gone, it’s time to look to the new year and consider what that personally holds. While there is a consensus to making resolutions for new changes, from a solar year perspective it is actually time to take responsible actions on the changes begun last year at the Spring Equinox. That could be partly why most resolutions don’t actually become solutions because the natural timing cycle is off!
Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently positioned in unpredictable Aquarius reinforcing the message that it is an individual responsibility now to take care of the inner child with parental energy that can lead to a new sense of security and comfort. Whereas, Uranus the evolutionary planet guiding Aquarius is steadfast in determined Taurus as it continues to be in a retrograde position relative to personal values and resources with a message to try a new approach of sharing and cooperation to build the trust required to solidify the relationship between the adult and the inner child. That simply means, listening to what you personally need to feel secure and comfortable instead of relying on external sources to provide it.
The caveat is that Mercury is in the shadow until December 29, when it begins to retrograde in Capricorn, so relying on others to parent you with authority and support from December 29 – February 6, 2023, may lead to disappointment or experience unintended consequences.
Mars is also still retrograde in Gemini until January 18, so actions taken from faulty or misleading information could also yield unexpected results. Thus, the responsible plan could be to strengthen the relationship with yourself by trusting your internal PGS (personal guidance system) and acting accordingly with patience until it feels right to move forward between January 12-22, when Mars, Mercury, and Uranus go direct!
Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through the frigid air of Aquarius suggesting that emotional detachment about unusual weather conditions or recent holiday chaos may be the best avenue to take as the energy may not settle down for the remainder of the day. So while it may be tempting to brave the elements and return to shopping for after-Christmas discounts it may take more effort than the actual value received. Not to mention that exchanging or returning gifts may also prove to be time-consuming and exhausting as Mars retrograde in Gemini snarls traffic, Uranus retrograde in Taurus may reflect an inferior quality and loss of resources, while Mercury in the shadow of the retrograde cycle frowns on providing quality customer service as the day wears on.
The lunar climate shifts subtly in the early hours of December 27, as the Moon dives below the surface of oceanic Pisces during the dream state, providing nebulous clues about unconscious emotions relative to romantic illusions, children, and/or artistic creativity. The key to understanding the significance of their meaning lies in allowing the information to float into conscious awareness without overanalyzing it. For the most part, the next couple of days is an opportune time to rest, relax, and rejuvenate from recent holiday activities.
In the early hours of December 29, Mercury begins to retrograde in Capricorn with the caveat that if something seems like a good deal or idea, it doesn’t mean that it is. Simply because the important information necessary may be inadvertently left out in communications relative to career goals or business projects.
Shortly after, the Moon moves swiftly and without ceremony into fiery Aries to assert emotional feelings about personal desires. The Moon’s first planetary encounter before the workday begins is with broadminded Jupiter in Aries, so everything is on the table as 2022 is coming to a close! While there is an air of emotional urgency to move forward immediately, there are some unknown factors that could throw a big monkey wrench into actions taken now! So cooling your heels now with patience will pay off in mid-January.
Shortly after the Moon and Jupiter unite in Aries, Venus and Mercury join together in Capricorn to reconsider long-term commitments regarding relationships, business, and career plans.
