Cosmic Insights – October 10, 2022 October 10, 2022

The celestial week of October 10, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in harmonious seeking Libra illuminating an opportunity to find balance and peace in circumstances that seem to be out of control, by taking a break to consider all available options before making decisions that may have unintended consequences. 

However,  the Sun in Libra is also currently in two major configurations which can have positive and powerful outcomes if utilized appropriately.  The first is a favorable interaction with Mars in Gemini and Saturn retrograde in Aquarius as a grand trine and offering an opportunity to communicate innovative ideas and multiple options with win/win solutions. 

The second is a yod with Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Neptune retrograde in Pisces which suggest that equality is the key to working through differences of opinions regarding relationships, values, and spirituality.  It is not that anyone is right or wrong, it just requires attitude adjustments to respect differences instead of appearing to respect them with covert agendas. 

The recent full moon with the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries on October 9, also illuminated the cooperation needed to find peace with relationships that have been out of balance regarding equality, fairness, and resources.  More importantly, it is also highlighting where we have become out of balance with ourselves when we say yes to others’ desires and no to our own in the process.  The key is to listen to what we need from ourselves before we attempt to satisfy the needs of others and to be ok with saying no when it is in our best interests.  

Fortunately, Mars the planet of action is flying through airy Gemini with a desire to communicate ideas and solutions with clarity about what works for us while considering others in the process.  You better catch them while they are spinning out, otherwise, you might miss them before they are off on another completely different tangent!

Meanwhile, the Moon is racing quickly through Aires to execute those ideas before it collides with authoritative Pluto in Capricorn, who has just begun moving forward and is ready to catch up with what has been going on since he has been absent.  True to the Moon’s nature in Aries, it makes a quick exit to evade Pluto’s suspecting inquiries.  Now that the moon has brushed past Pluto, it goes void of course until later in the afternoon.  So while there will be a great deal of activity and apparent busy work to fill the day, not much will actually be accomplished.

Just before the work day ends, the Moon settles down into earthy Taurus to spend some quality time relaxing after putting out emotional fires all day!  Finally, it feels like there is some relief in sight from the stress-filled weekend highlighted by the full moon phase on October 9.  Now the Sun in Libra can get financial affairs in order with the support of Venus in Libra, Mars in Gemini, and Saturn retrograde in Aquarius.  While the Moon in Taurus may be resistant initially to making changes to achieve financial security, it does get on board with an attitude adjustment regarding emotional self-values.

Shortly after dinner, Mercury moves back into cooperative Libra and is available to communicate valuable ideas received during the recent retrograde to balance relationships and resources through shared and equitable efforts.  However, Mercury is not out of the shadow until October 16, so signing on the dotted line is still not advised until then.

Minutes after midnight on October 12, Mars in Gemini challenges Neptune in Pisces during the first-quarter square about unconscious emotions clouding the judgment of taking actions to move forward on manifesting hopes, wishes, and dreams.  Mars in Gemini is ready to take action and thinks that Neptune retrograde in Pisces is dragging its feet and may miss opportunities that are present now.

A couple of hours later Mercury in Libra opposes Jupiter retrograde in Aries for an accounting of actions not taken to relieve debt and balance the budget without breaking the bank.  While Mercury in Libra is generally politically correct in negotiations, its patience may be wearing this with childish behaviors and irresponsible actions that produce no results.

With the Mars/Neptune square and the Mercury/Jupiter opposition taking place during the hours of sleep, there may not be much of it or restlessness may interrupt it during the night.  So, if you feel like pulling the covers back up and over your head in the morning, it may not be a bad idea!

Emotional peace prevails on October 13, as the Moon skips into curious Gemini minutes after midnight with an opportunity to communicate feelings freely about relating and resources.  There will also be more open-mindedness to consider and offer solutions that are fair and doable.  Now that the emotional dust has settled, the next couple of days will be like a breath of fresh air as everyone works together in harmony, humor, and peace.

Cosmic Insights – October 3, 2022 October 2, 2022

The celestial week of October 3, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in values-conscious Libra, illuminating an opportunity to view situations with different lenses of perception.  Venus the ruler of airy Libra is also moving through Libra highlighting an opportunity to visualize thoughts and feelings with an active desire to experience them as if they are already manifest.

Meanwhile, the Moon is halfway through Capricorn with an emotional feeling to build onto a foundation of success relative to career and family ambitions and goals.  Fortunately, there is support from Mercury who has just gone direct in Virgo, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn to harness those feelings as emotional power and utilize them to build onto that foundation that will stand the test of time, with thought-provoking analytical ideas, unique and renovative technology, an idealistic vision, and the authoritative power to execute it all into manifestation.

In the early hours of October 4, the Moon leaves serious Capricorn to spend some time in eclectic Aquarius opening a doorway to receiving enlightening insights through interactions with children and the creative process that may help to diffuse the current standoff between Saturn retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus retrograde in Taurus over financial resources and relationships. 

However, the Moon in unpredictable Aquarius may take a “hands off” attitude, so their differences can be worked out between them without emotionally supporting them.  After all, an Aquarius Moon is far more comfortable with an emotional air of detachment and a “whatever” attitude, instead of meditating stubborn mindsets!

Before the Sun rises in peace-seeking Libra on October 7, it encounters Chiron the wounded healer in warrior Aries, so upon waking there may be a “me versus we” energy that requires cooperation with others to heal the abandonment wounds of the past without appeasing behaviors to keep the peace.  However, the best solutions will be available through honest communication to accept the responsibility to take care of oneself without projecting issues or expectations onto others.  Owning and acknowledging the wounds is a powerful way to begin the healing process instead of continuing to punish oneself with angry regrets.

Just before the work day begins on October 6, the Moon streaks out of lightning quick Aquarius to float upon the oceanic waves of Pisces in a meditative state of awareness with no particular destination in mind.  Suffice it to say that unconscious deep feelings may arise from soulful memories of the past which overshadow daily activities.  Poetry, music, and pictures tucked away may suddenly surface to tug at heartstrings still attached to past relationships.  

The key is to remember that even if significant others are not present in daily activities, they are always present in the heart and mind if you give them a place there by remembering them and the experiences shared between two souls who chose to be together in this life, if even only for a short period of time.

Thus, the next couple of days can be experienced with gratitude for the opportunity to love another, or in a state of victimization over what seems to have been lost.

Cosmic Insights – September 26, 2022 September 26, 2022

The celestial week of September 26, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in diplomatic Libra, illuminating an opportunity to connect with others of shared beliefs and similar feelings in a quiet knowing atmosphere to temper situations with forceful solutions and push forward with grounded decisions.

In light of the recent autumn equinox and the new moon cycle occurring in Libra, a shift of energy is taking place to seek information about values, and analyze choices in making decisions that require actions.  The caveat is that Libra energy is often indecisive as it considers all available options and as a result may become overwhelmed with too much information, and avoid making decisions.  

Whereas, Mars the planetary agent of actions is currently flitting through curious Gemini without choosing appropriate actions from the available choices.  Fortunately, Venus and Mercury, the respective rulers of Libra and Gemini are both in detail-oriented Virgo and are able to forgo the distractions to make practical decisions without being mentally bombarded.

Meanwhile, the Moon continues its visit to Libra after the recent union with the Sun on September 25 to emotionally engage all of the other planets to consider the new perspectives and realizations that the new moon cycle in Libra currently offers.  As the moon glides through airy Libra, opportunities are on the table to emotionally relate to others with fair-minded negotiations and compromises to arrive at win/win solutions with a politically correct attitude.  

The key is to remember that while Libra may portray an amicable demeanor, there is no fluff when it comes down to business.  Instead, the amicability is the charm that Libra utilizes to rule situations with an iron fist in a velvet glove.  During the remainder of the day and into the afternoon of September 27, various sides of the Libra energy will no doubt be experienced as attitude adjustments, conflicts with challenges, and opportunities to move them with grace and charm will be demonstrated.

Later in the afternoon, Mercury and Venus unite in a new cycle to align values and ideas that can be put into motion, which has the potential to open huge doors of opportunities.  While the doors have opened, there are still details that have to be worked through before they can be stepped into on October 9, when Mercury begins to move forward and back to the twenty-seventh degree of Virgo.

Shortly after, the Sun in Libra opposes Jupiter retrograde in Aries, with a show of power and force illuminating the cooperation needed to balance personal desires with relationship agendas in my desires vs your needs context of relating.  The key is to accommodate both desires and needs with amicable solutions, which may not be as easy as it appears to be.  While the Sun is the planet of power and usually has the last say, Jupiter is no slouch in that arena either.  However, Jupiter is retrograde in Aries now and may seem to be agreeable with proposed solutions, yet the execution of them may have repercussions that don’t come forward until January 18, 2023, when Jupiter moves forward over three degrees of Aries.  Thus, the best solutions now will have renewable or expiring options instead of being set in stone.

On the evening of September 27, the Moon leaves peace-loving Libra to slip silently into the tempestuous depths of watery Scorpio with an opportunity to transform relationships with a subconscious revelation of intense hidden feelings for another through casual conversation, courtesy of Mars in Gemini!  As a result, Mars the daily CEO of Scorpio may not be conscious of the wheels that have been set in motion that will play out until March of 2023, because it is in the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle at the end of October.

Whereas, Mercury the planetary ruler of Gemini in charge of flirtatious Gemini is retrograde in Virgo and is well aware of the implications of what has been innocently shared, yet doesn’t how what to do with that information.  However, the Moon in Scorpio senses the awkward position that has occurred with the sharing and may attempt to pass it off with light humor, allowing everyone to regain composure and save further embarrassment.   Thus, the key is to refrain from sharing intimate emotional feelings with others if there is no indication from them that they are open to receiving them.

In the early hours of September 29, Venus leaves hard-working Virgo and business attire to dance into savvy and charismatic Libra to contemplate self-values, relationships, and financial resources until October 23, so the next few weeks are vital to set the tone for equality and fairness in all areas of relating for the next year.  While Venus in Libra is agreeable as long as everyone plays by the same rules, it can also seek retribution to even the score if they don’t, and they will never see it coming!

Before the day ends, the Moon blazes into optimistic and jovial Sagittarius and is eager for a new emotional adventure during the upcoming weekend!  However, Jupiter the ruler of Sagittarius is still retrograde is adventurous Aries, and is not quite up to taking a road trip into unknown emotional territory to ease the boredom that may be creeping in as the catalyst for the trip.  Instead, it may be more inclined to spend some quality time on the couch watching sports while it puts away resources for a big trip around the Thanksgiving holiday!

Cosmic Insights – September 19, 2022 September 19, 2022

The celestial week of September 19, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in mentally precise Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to separate the wheat from the chaff relative to personal desires, in a quiet knowing atmosphere of relaxation and peace of mind.  However, Mercury the planetary ruler of Virgo is still backing up through Libra and may be experiencing bumps in the road ahead, requiring a detour until October when Mercury begins moving forward in Virgo.  

Yet, there are workable solutions available as Venus, the CEO of Libra is currently traveling through meticulous Virgo for the time being and is available to assist Mercury with a valuable message to listen to inner guidance with a quiet mind to receive the best direction to move forward.  For the present time, tuning out the noise of the external environment with meditation, prayer, and silent contemplation can open doorways to the collective unconscious where all answers reside within.

Meanwhile, the Moon is attempting to keep a lid on a whirlpool of feelings regarding the home, family, career goals, and emotional security.  However, the key to true security is feeling and knowing it from within, instead of seeking it outside of oneself in any context.  Feelings are actually a barometer of what is going on internally which usually triggers a response or reaction, and insecurity has its root cause in fear.  So deciding to face the fear will also lead to its resolutions and restore the power that has been given to the fear with false evidence.  Yet, the Moon moving through emotional Cancer may currently feel intimidated that the events of the past will be reincarnated and would rather avoid the insecurities instead of dealing with them. 

However, the first planetary encounter of the day occurs with the Moon in Cancer feeling challenged and even pressured by Chiron retrograde in Aries, to push through the discomfort of projected emotional pain with the courage of a warrior going into battle to win the internal war within oneself, and thereby experience the power of emotional freedom!  

Later in the day, the Moon engages Venus in Virgo and Saturn retrograde in Aquarius in a yod formation to use the power of positive thoughts to clarify self-values and worth as the only personal authority responsible to create a greater quality of life with nurturing self-care.

On the afternoon of September 20, the Moon makes a grand entrance on the red carpet of grandiose Leo with an air of confidence, a heart-warming smile,  and a flair for emotional drama that leaves no doubt who is present and in charge of relationships.  On the downside, there may also be an attitude that dares anyone to question the demanding expectation of others to do its bidding.  While the first part of the Moon’s dance through Leo is amicable as the charm exuding from the personality envelopes everything and everyone it touches, the emotional climate changes dramatically on September 22, with a determined emotional position of will encounters conflict with Uranus retrograde in Taurus over extravagant expenditures, and Saturn retrograde in Aquarius with a detached “whatever” irresponsible attitude!

Later in the evening, the Sun glides into fair-minded and action-oriented Libra to welcome in the Autumn Equinox with agendas to balance the scales of injustice relative to resources and relationships.  This is also the full phase of the current solar cycle which began on March 20, 2022.  The full phase of any cycle is the illumination of how the seed intentions of the cycle have germinated, and produced, as well as the potential yield of the desired harvest.

There is also a powerful planetary dynamic between the Moon void of course in Leo, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn that is setting the emotional, spiritual, and powerful tone of the next forty-five days.  The dynamic is a yod with a boomerang effect.  The void Moon in Leo is suggestive to let go of creating emotional drama trauma to get attention and adjust attitudes relative to authoritative insecurities, (meaning giving insecurities authority over life), and embrace a spiritual realization of having the power to dissolve negativity to manifest hopes, wishes, and dreams without agendas!  Otherwise, what send out will return, hence the boomerang!

In the early hours of September 23, Mercury and the Sun unite at 1 degree of Libra signaling the light at the end of the tunnel of the Mercury retrograde cycle in Virgo-Libra.

The symbolism of this degree in Libra is “beauty made immortal” which speaks to a gifted artist capturing a vision that moves the consciousness of humanity to dare and create an exquisite vision of the beauty of life, and thereby experience transfiguration as an opportunity to rise above the perceived difficulties of life, in light of the gift of it.

Shortly after, the Moon leaves the grandeur of Leo to step into mentally conscious Virgo with an emotional desire to heal oneself with the awareness of the ability to do so with the belief that it is possible.  If the belief is not yet set in stone, there is an opportunity to cultivate it with the shifting gears of positive thoughts, language, and an attitude of gratitude for the gift of conscious awareness to work its magic!  

Fortunately, planets in Virgo are always up to the task of rolling up their sleeves, to clean out the physical, mental, and emotional clutter that may unconsciously derail the desired progress to move forward.  To add to the effectiveness of clearing the clutter, the current balsamic lunar phase makes it easier to let go of what is unnecessary in preparation for the upcoming new moon cycle in Libra.

Before the work day begins, Mercury joins the Moon in Virgo as it backtracks out of values-conscious Libra to take a mental inventory of what needs to be repaired, renewed, and released before it moves forward on October 2.

Cosmic Insights – September 12, 2022 September 11, 2022

The celestial week of September 12, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in conscientious and earthy Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to seek new territory in the Promised Land with an intuitive vision and projected creativity into the future! Now, that is a lot of activity for one day, yet Virgo energy is no slacker when it comes to getting the job done!

However, Mercury is the CEO of Virgo and is backtracking through social Libra, so it is tempting to put off what can be done today for relationship interactions. Yet, it could be a wasted opportunity to miss using creative energy coupled with powerful thoughts and language, and a clear vision of what an individual journey to the Promise Land means to you specifically. The phrase “promised land” itself conjures up historical events when scores of people set off for a greater quality of life sailing away from what was familiar to an unknown reality of potential fulfilled promises and yet hardships as well. Yet, they did it with hope and courage for themselves, their families, and future generations. Thus, the opportunity is at hand to have the courage, hope, and confidence to make choices and take chances to experience your personal version of the promised land of your hopes, wishes, and dreams.

Meanwhile, the Moon is speeding through Aries reflecting an opportunity to let go of past wounds of abandonment, rejection, and shame by observing what was learned from them; instead of allowing them to persist as memories of emotional pain.

Mars, the planetary warrior, and the ruler of Aries are moving quickly through dualistic Gemini with a lot of activity to accomplish before it begins moving backward on October 20, 2022. Even though Mercury, the planetary CEO of Gemini is retrograde in Libra, work has to be completed and Mars is up to the task in Gemini! However, the caveat is that the information needed to move forward may not be readily available for Mars to take action. Yet, the key is continuing to put the puzzle pieces of projects and plans together in place that are on hand, until the remaining pieces are found.

While the Moon is moving through Aries, a few attitude adjustments and challenges during the next day or so may be experienced. Yet, there will also be valuable information and messages through the adjustments and challenges as guidance and direction for a course of action now that will affect the next six months.

On the morning of September 13, the emotional climate settles down relative to resources and relationships as the Moon slowly moves into grounded and earthy Taurus with a subconscious emotional inventory of the true value of personal accumulated possessions and wealth. However, the emotional cost of self-values and worth to acquire them tags along for contemplation.

There is also a lot of opportunity under the gaze of this Taurus Moon as it interacts favorably with Uranus, Venus, the Sun, and Pluto in earthy signs, so it is about grounding a purpose with values of clarity, emotional support, enlightenment, and transformation! So it’s an opportunity to get authentic, serious, and busy working on what is truly important about the quality of your life.

On the afternoon of September 15, the emotional mood lightens up as the Moon breezes into carefree Gemini with an opportunity to share feelings with a light and witty attitude about a significant other, and/or dance away from serious commitments with a flirtatious smile and a here today, gone tomorrow message! The key is to refrain from taking flirty communication seriously, as it may be just be entertainment for the moment as a distraction from boredom!

However, the proverbial stuff may hit the fan on the afternoon of September 16, when the Moon and Mars in Gemini dare to tangle with Venus in Virgo! While the Moon and Mars in Gemini may just be playing with Venus with teasing fun, Venus in Virgo will not appreciate it! The proof of the pudding will be experienced by scornful eyes, a pounding silence, and hidden hurt feelings that will come back to haunt Mars in Gemini for several months to come.

In the wee hours of September 18, the Moon slips down into the emotional pond of Cancer, so the day may start off with sensitive and/or moody feelings that seem to have come out of nowhere. It’s almost like you went to sleep with a smile and woke up with tears of sadness welling up from within. It may have just been an unsettling dream or something as a gut instinct that events or circumstances are on the horizon about home and family that you would rather avoid. However, it may also be an opportunity to realize that emotional security comes from within, and you get to decide whether to give in to emotional fears or kick them to the curb! So start the day off with a, “I got this” attitude and the Universe will respond with the evidence that you do!

The celestial week of September 5, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in mentally crafty Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to broker equitable solutions with congruent actions, charisma, and a talented ability to sway a mob.  

Mercury, the director of Virgo is currently dancing through values-conscious Libra with a heart-warming attitude relative to resources and relationships.  The caveat is that Mercury is in the shadow until September 9, when it begins to retrograde back through Libra and Virgo until Oct, 2, so it is very important to consciously communicate with clarity and to repeat it at least three times so it is heard, comprehended, and integrated.  However, Mercury in Libra is also currently in a favorable relationship with Mars in Gemini, so it is easy to get to the point, make a strategy, and then hit the target with diplomacy.  

As Mercury in Libra is also supervised by Venus who has just stepped into Virgo with a conscientious attitude, and a nonsensical approach to getting the job done right the first time, practical solutions that are time savers, cost-effective, and results-oriented are on the top list for the next three weeks.  Thus, Venus in Virgo will make the most of the Mercury retrograde in Libra with repairs, reviews, reevaluations, and results with no regrets!

Meanwhile, the Moon has just begun its monthly tour of Capricorn, so even though today is a celebrated holiday, work routines and business ambitions may take priority over rest and relaxation.  So holiday celebrations may lack excitement as the Moon in Capricorn wakes up earlier than planned to settle a squabble between Mercury in Libra and Jupiter retrograde in Aries, or at least be in the middle of a contentious conversation with one person who wants companionship, and the other wants to be left alone!  Thus, the Moon in Capricorn may feel like it would rather be at work, instead of meditating for adult children!

On the evening of September 6, a gibbous lunar phase occurs as the Moon in Capricorn positioned at 29 degrees has moved 135 degrees away from the Sun at 14 degrees of Virgo, to seek opportunities that may tend to irritate the Sun as the Moon wobbles of course from the path that the Sun has carefully and methodically planned out!

Shortly after, as the Sun grits its teeth in frustration, the Moon turns up the volume of irritation as it streaks into erratic Aquarius with an air of emotionally cool detachment over the Sun’s discontent!  Not to mention that Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus are both the rulers of Aquarius and retrograde!  So it appears to the Moon that it’s on its own, so might as well make the most of it!  So leaving the Sun to fend for it itself, it takes off a couple of days to play with Mars in Gemini and Mercury in Gemini with an emotional ‘whatever’ attitude!

Of course, attention is being paid to the antics of the Moon, Mars, and Mercury, so there will likely be consequences when Mercury goes retrograde, and Saturn goes direct in October!  In regards to the Moon’s disappearing act and unpredictable behavior fueled by emotional detachment, the Sun finds solace in bringing order to the chaos that only Aquarius can create!

Just before midnight on September 8, the Moon drifts off into oceanic Pisces with an opportunity to use emotional feelings to manifest a desired quality of life using visualization skills with imagination!  Jupiter the traditional ruler of Pisces is currently retrograde in Aries impatiently waiting to experience new horizons with a lone ranger attitude until mid-November and may be inclined to partner up with Mars in Gemini for some mischievous fun as a release of pent-up energy!  Whereas, Neptune the modern ruler of Pisces and King of the ocean is also retrograde revealing what has been emotionally hidden relative to unrequited love, soul mates, and or disappointing illusions about abandonment or rejection. 

Thus, the Moon in Pisces can go from emotional frustration to flirting with mischief, to emotional depression, and then unconsciously repeat the cycle depending on the moment it is currently floating through.  The blessing is that meditation, prayer, hypnosis, swimming, and/or consciously engaging in daydreaming or visualization can help to dissolve discordant emotional energy and restore emotional peace and calm.

Last but not least, just before retiring for the night on September 9, Mercury begins to backtrack through Libra and Virgo until Oct 2.  As it retrogrades in Libra, there may be miscommunication regarding self-values, resources, and relationships.  The caveat is that attitudes of unfairness may be the spark that sets the wheels in motion for incongruent misunderstandings that may play out until March 15, 2023, when Mars completes its retrograde cycle.  The key is to speak kindly to and about others, become conscious of what you project onto others is really about yourself, refrain from taking everything or anything personal, become conscious of judging others as it will be returned to you when Jupiter goes direct, and do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

The celestial week of August 29, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in earthly and meticulous Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to rise above jealousy, arrogance, and the need to be bestowed with the gift of being chosen. The nature of Virgo energy can often be self-critical in a quest for perfection, thus the desire to be chosen can be an unconscious need for the approval of others. Yet, when the realization of being born perfect from the Creator’s perception occurs, a humbleness can happen that supersedes the need to shine in the eyes of others because of not who you are, but because of the Source of whence you came.

Mercury, the CEO of Virgo has just recently glided into graceful and politically correct Libra with a desire to connect with others with similar feelings and shared beliefs about self-values, relating, and resources. The caveat is that Mercury is cruising through the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle in libra, so it is very important to qualify those matters with positive language, feelings, and actions. Otherwise, they may come back around as undesirable circumstances, people, or events when Mercury goes retrograde on September 9, 2022.

Fortunately, Venus the CEO of Libra is currently on the throne of Leo, with an opportunity to create lines of communication with attention-getting charisma, and an open heart of love.

However, Venus is in a dynamic yod configuration with Neptune in Pisces retrograde, and Pluto in Capricorn retrograde, so it is wise to tone down any demanding or arrogant attitudes toward authorities, or reap the whirlwind of results later in the fall.

Meanwhile, the Moon has also just danced into charming Libra with an emotional feeling to relate to others about personal desires with diplomacy and consideration for the feelings of others. For the most part, affairs run smoothly as fairness and quality are important virtues that Libra appreciates and demonstrates until personal agendas are unmet through others. Then, the iron fist in the velvet glove comes out and off! So the key to smooth sailing in the evening hours is to clarify communication with appropriate boundaries and genuine authenticity, so there is no doubt as to what is agreed upon or committed to during the next couple of days.

During the noon hour on August 31, the emotional climate shifts significantly when the Moon crosses into Scorpio territory with emotional intensity and laser awareness of what is or has been hidden. The caveat is that Mars the daily supervisor of Scorpio is flying through quicksilver Gemini now without a care in the world or a communication filter, so secrets may be shared indiscriminately as entertainment, and may cause relationship issues.

Now Mars in Gemini is a smooth talker, so while the shared information may not become an immediate problem, the Moon in Scorpio is filing it away for future reference and investigation. As an emotional precautionary measure, it would be wise to decline to share or indulge in receiving information about personal or private matters about others.

On another note, it would be well advised to take action on all areas relative to vehicles, computers, scheduling, travel plans, repairs, and/or communication before Mars goes into the shadow in Gemini, on September 3.

On the evening of September 2, the Moon jumps into enthusiastic Sagittarius on a wing and a prayer, as a three-day holiday weekend begins on an optimistic note! Finally, it’s time to take a break from work and have some fun as the summer begins to wind down.

The celestial week of August 22, 2022, begins with the Sun rising up through the golden magnificent rays of heartwarming Leo, illuminating an opportunity to generously share thoughts and feelings that have the power to transcend the dark shadows of life with joy for the gift of it.  The key is to have the courage and confidence to shine your individual light for the world to receive with unconditional love.

Meanwhile, the Moon is treading in the deep end of an emotional pond of feelings that may be dredging up sensitive and vulnerable insecurities regarding the manifestation of emotional hopes, wishes, and dreams.  As swirling emotional memories take one back into the past, there may be a tendency to throw caution to the winds of change on the horizon and plunge ahead into uncertain territory if friends or like-minded others change their minds about previous plans or commitments.  

However, as the Moon in Cancer is moving away from Jupiter retrograde in Aries, the feeling to take a leap of faith based on emotions without knowing the outcome is a huge temptation to resist, so the willingness to bet on yourself may pay off in a big way when Jupiter begins to move forward in mid-November.  The key is to trust your gut instincts about moving forward with others, or striking out on your own.

Whereas, the caveat is that Mercury has begun its upcoming retrograde cycle in September with a preview of what may have to be reviewed, retracted, or revised, so gather the information needed to take action now, which will serve as guidance and direction until March 2023.  While the current Mercury retrograde cycle began on August 20 and will conclude on October 16, the effects will continue until the Spring of 2023, as Mars has just driven into dualistic and flighty Gemini, where it will go into its shadow and September 3, and retrograde on October 30; remaining until March 2023.  

Thus all areas governed by Mercury are in the zone of action and reaction including vehicles, travel by air or car, scheduling, technology, communication, sales, commerce, and possible a resurgence of illnesses related to the lungs and breathing.  There may also be more accidents and injuries to the shoulders, hands, and eyes.  

The astrological signs that will experience this period of time more significantly are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.  However, the key to making decisions with multiple options going in different directions is to align conscious actions with clear information, review options and choose the one that has more flexibility, become conscious of unconscious emotional feelings driving behaviors, and believe in yourself instead of what others believe about you!

If all else fails, schedule some downtime off to have some fun, meditate for peace or take long naps to rest and rejuvenate your energy, refrain from sharing personal information on social media or with others that would share it without permission, and know the details of what you are talking about, or it may come back to bite you!

Later in the evening, the Sun walks briskly into meticulous and methodical Virgo with a long list of projects to complete, ideas to communicate, and plans to be more health conscious with nutrition and exercise activities.  The caveat is that the supervisor of Virgo is Mercury, which is also traveling through Virgo with the mandate that work comes first, so taking care of the physical body may go on the back burner leaving an open door for mental and physical burnout and exhaustion.  So the key is to take care of mental and physical health first, pace yourself accordingly, and be patient with delays that may very well be blessings in disguise.  

While the Mercury retrograde cycle is on the short end of the spectrum, the Mars retrograde cycle will be around for several months.

Shortly after the work day begins on August 24, the Moon prances into Leo with an emotional need for attention and may engineer some drama trauma that steals the show from working!  However, the Sun is the king or queen or Leo and as it is currently residing in nonsensical Virgo, the curtain will come down on the play as quickly as it went up, without a word spoken.  The quick stride into the building and the discerning look of authority will send others scurrying for cover before the chastising can begin!

On the evening of August 25, Mercury dances into relationship-oriented Libra, offering a brief respite from the scrutiny of Virgo’s watchful mind, to cultivate relationships with negotiations, compromises, an attitude of fairness, and hand-holding if that is what it takes to get the job done.  While it is an opportunity to shore up personal relationships by clearing the air of discontent, it is imperative that each person takes equal responsibility to maintain the relationship with clear communication.

The emotional climate shifts gears on the evening of August 26 as the Moon joins the Sun in Virgo during the balsamic lunar phase, offering an opportunity to communicate emotional feelings with precise clarity that leaves no room for vague misunderstandings or misinterpretation.  However, the balsamic lunar phase is characteristic of letting go of the emotional past to clear the slate for the potential of new beginnings of the new moon cycle in Virgo on August 27, 2022. Just remember to let the past go gently, without a critical review of what could have, should have been.

The celestial week of August 15, 2022, begins with the Sun rising up through the spectacular brilliant rays of Leo, illuminating an opportunity to attain mastery over one’s energies with the courage and strength of a lion rushing in where angels fear to tread.  

As the Sun in Leo continues to shine in a powerful planetary yod formation with Pluto retrograde in Capricorn and Neptune retrograde in Pisces, the current cosmic energy is symbolic of the finger of God pointing in a direction of destiny as the Sun in Leo bows to the power of Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces to ascend one’s consciousness and release people or ideals that are holding you back from achieving spiritual goals.  

The caveat is that the king of the skies is not inclined to bow to anyone or anything, so the heart of the lion has to be willing to sacrifice the ego for the highest good of the purpose of one’s life, instead of the glory of it.  However, the reward of aligning one’s personal will with the will of a higher power becomes apparent as creative energy invested now from the heart is transformed and elevated to a higher vibration when Pluto in Capricorn moves forward in early October and followed by Neptune moving forward in Pisces in early December of 2022.

The key now is to follow your heart’s creative desire with faith and no attachment to how the desire unfolds and manifests.  

Meanwhile, the Moon is racing through impatient Aries to take actions that open doors of potential financial opportunities relative to building sustainable wealth during the next two years.  The key is to cultivate patience and do the appropriate research regarding the risks and rewards before taking action.

Before the day ends on August 16, the Moon meanders slowly into Taurus with a feeling that it has possibly bitten off more that can be chewed and digested comfortably, regarding relationships and resources.  So perhaps instead of a mad dash to the alter with a long-lasting commitment, perhaps it would be wise to take a step back and reconsider it the timing is right as Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are all retrograde now, with Uranus following on August 24, Mercury going into the shadow on August 20, and Mars entering the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle on September 3, 2022.  

Retrograde planetary energy is suggestive of review, regret, reconsidering, redoing, and repenting, so the next few weeks are a time to back away from hasty choices and/or pressure from others to make decisions that require a commitment of financial resources and energy.

The caveat is that Venus is charming its way through Leo now, so it may be difficult to resist the temptation of falling in love at first sight that seems bigger than life!  The key is to absolutely fall in love with another, creative ideas, children, and life, just take the time to weigh the responsibility of the commitment and what is involved that you can’t know at the present time.  Uranus is the unpredictable planetary energy and is currently moving through Taurus, so relationships and resources can have their ups and downs until May of 2026!

The emotional climate shifts significantly on the morning of August 19, as the Moon breezes into chatty Gemini and is ready to share the news or the gossip with anyone who will listen.  That is until Mercury the planetary communication of Gemini shuts down the chatter with a focused attitude and a reminder that there is work to be done.

While the Moon may agree to comply with Mercury, it will no doubt find a way to entertain itself with personal priorities.  So while the Moon plays with others and chats it up online behind the scenes while appearing to work, challenges and attitude adjustments are on the way if the work is not completed to the satisfaction and scrutiny of Mercury in Virgo before the work week is over.  Thus, forced overtime may be on the horizon to cramp or put a monkey wrench in weekend plans!

Cosmic Insights – August 8, 2022

The celestial week of August 8, 2022, begins with the Sun rising up through the golden and crimson rays of majestic Leo, illuminating an opportunity to experience the warmth of renewal as the recent storms have dissipated and cleared the air of built-up energy, symbolizing that the worst is over, situations are resolved, and recovery begins.

Leo energy is qualified as the king or queen of the skies since the Sun is the source of light and energy that sustains the habitat of planet earth and humanity.  As such, the power of the Sun is also the basis of the law of attraction, and thus the vibration that individuals emit from their consciousness, and consciously or unconsciously attracts what is positive or negative within oneself.  

As the Sun in Leo is currently interacting favorably with Chiron in Aries, there is also an opportunity to shine a light on emotional wounds of abandonment or rejection with gratitude for the experiences that enhanced the ability to come out the other side with self-love and healing.

Meanwhile, the Moon is traveling through Sagittarius at warp speed towards the center of the Milky Way Galaxy with a huge opportunity to project one’s emotional vision that is being transmitted from the soul upon to and give form to material manifestation.  The caveat is that the potential of the emerging masterpiece may be overshadowed by unconscious values relative to self-worth and may be resistant to motivating actions, as both the Moon in Sagittarius and Venus in Cancer engaged with Mars in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius in yod configurations.  The key is to realize that you are the vessel that is being utilized by the Creator, instead of being the creator.  The other consideration is that the Moon is void-of-course until later in the afternoon, so it is wise to have no attachments to how and when the creation unfolds and manifests.

Later, the Moon shakes off the emotional optimism and philosophical attitudes of Sagittarius to enter the boardroom of Capricorn with a serious demeanor relative to success, financial resources, and business relationships.  Even though Saturn the CEO of Capricorn is retrograde and currently taking a back seat at the table, it will step in to take the reins from Uranus in Taurus who is temporarily at the helm with innovative concepts about the technology of future plans.  More than likely, Saturn has stepped back to consider new ideas and concepts, yet may not sign off on them until mid-October when it begins to move forward.

Minutes after midnight on August 9, Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn so compromises and negotiations are on the breakfast table pertaining to career opportunities and family relationships; which may in turn highlight challenges relative to personal hopes, wishes, and dreams that may have to go on the back burner until Jupiter goes direct in late November.  

On the afternoon of August 10, the Moon streaks into lightening quick Aquarius communicating an emotionally detached attitude with abrupt departures and/or unresponsive to emails, texts, and phone calls.  The key is to refrain from taking it personally now if others or yourself are currently unavailable, as personal downtime is needed to deflect the current energy building to a crescendo under the gibbous lunar phase before the full moon occurs.

Just before the workday begins on August 11, the Sun in Leo squares off with Uranus in Taurus, illuminating a need to lighten up, relax, and spend time with like-minded individuals instead of focusing creative energy on financial plans and opportunities.  Thus, challenges may occur with others who are invested in moving forward with intended plans, if a temporary disappearing act by authorities creates delays.

Shortly after lunch, Venus leaves nurturing Cancer as it saunters into Leo with a dazzling gold charisma as it strolls in to conquer the world stage of acceptance and applause, sweeping others off their feet in its wake!  Romance, children, and creativity are also highlighted during the next few weeks.  The key is to seek the heart of gold instead of the glitter that tarnishes over time.

Later in the evening, the full lunar phase occurs as the Moon in cool detached Aquarius opposes the fiery Sun in Leo illuminating the cooperation required to balance the need for attention that Leo craves with the emotional space that Aquarius needs to feel free.  The caveat is that Uranus in Taurus feels like it is in the middle of the negotiations and is more likely to favor the needs of the Moon in Aquarius to vacate the premises for a few days until cooler heads prevail.

On the afternoon of August 12, the Moon drifts off into emotional daydreams as an escape from the recent heightened energy of the emotional drama trauma spilling out from under the full moon.  Fortunately, the work week is coming to an end, so the weekend will be a great time to rest, relax, and recover with laid-back music, water activities, meditation, hypnosis, and/or artistic pursuits.
