The celestial week of December 30, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in earthy, responsible Capricorn, illuminating an opportunity to feed one’s higher nature with good nourishment to build a foundation of spiritual enlightenment. Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is floating upon the waters of spiritual Pisces to support the process with the higher self of consciousness training the lower self of the conscious ego.
The highest vibration of Capricorn is to ascend the mountains of life leading to success with integrity and honor. Whereas, the lower vibration of the ego demonstrated by Capricorn uses energy and others to climb the ladder of success without regard or recognition of those who support it.
While Capricorn tends to use tried and tested methods of the past to achieve goals and aspirations; the natural inclination of Saturn in Pisces suggests letting go of unconscious, imposed restrictions learned through social and parental conditioning of what is required to succeed. The caveat is that Saturn in Pisces is being challenged by Jupiter retrograde in Gemini with multiple ideas without a plan for execution and Mercury in Sagittarius with expansive, grandiose ideas that appear to have no means of financial investments that will encourage Saturn to get on board.
Thus, a quandary requires Virgo’s energy to make sense of, organize, and glean the gold from ideas if they are of any value or provide bigger opportunities. However, Virgo’s energy is currently focused elsewhere, leaving Jupiter, Mercury, and Saturn to figure it out themselves!
Meanwhile, the Moon is also positioned in authoritative Capricorn in a balsamic lunar phase with the Sun, backing up the Sun’s position in Capricorn as the CEO in charge to take a step back from the material aspects of reality and release what isn’t working to a Higher Power for resolutions before the new moon cycle in Capricorn occurs later in the afternoon.
Once the new moon cycle in Capricorn occurs, a significant and serious energetic shift occurs relative to achieving the tangible goals of 2025 regarding financial security and career goals.
Thus, the New Year’s Eve celebrations on December 31, may lack the usual enthusiasm of prior celebrations as a present somber tone permeates the energy of the future.
As the clock strikes midnight on January 1, 2025, the new year may begin on an optimistic note of uncertainty as Saturn in Pisces continues to deal with the challenges presented by Jupiter retrograde in Gemini to become conscious of what is being irresponsibly communicated through Mercury in Sagittarius, which can have the effect of starting a fire with misinformation and then spreading it without the evidence to support it.
On a positive note, it is also a time to reconnect with nature to clear the mental cobwebs of the past with new intentions for the present with aligned thoughts, visions, and emotions.
Before the sun comes up, the Moon jolts into erratic Aquarius and emotional freedom becomes the dominant factor of shifting energy and plans to celebrate the New Year! The Moon’s first planetary interactions are with Mars retrograde in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius simultaneously, which makes for an unusual dynamic that the Moon in Aquarius detaches from with an abrupt change of plans with friends!
Inclement weather related to water and frigid temperatures may become a factor in unforeseen conditions relative to traffic and air travel!
One of the annual traditions of New Year’s Day involves making resolutions for the coming year that may not be completed, as the solar year of 2024 has not finished. Even though the calendar has changed to a new year, the current solar phase is a third quarter which requires taking responsible actions to complete the manifestations of the intentions planted at the Spring Equinox of 2024.
Before the day ends on January 2, Venus joins Saturn and Neptune in Pisces to seek solace from recent and hectic celebrations with friends and family. However, Venus in Pisces’ first planetary encounter is with Mars retrograde in Leo, so relationships may take center stage for attention about what isn’t working or to vent frustrations about the past couple of weeks.
The caveat is that Venus in Pisces can be easily drained with expectations that it does not have the energy to handle or meet. Meanwhile, Pluto in Aquarius demands the freedom to express and experience unconditional love with detachment. The celestial week of December 23, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in authoritative Capricorn illuminating an opportunity to evaluate the status of one’s current position as a CEO of personal reality through a quiet time of inner contemplation and outer observance. (1)
Saturn is the planetary CEO of Capricorn with the power to climb mountains of success with patience and the sure-footedness of a mountain goat to reach the top of the summit. However, Saturn is currently riding the waves of oceanic Pisces with an opportunity to manifest dreams into reality with the vision of the artist guided by spiritual inspiration as an outer expression of real inner worth. (2)
While Saturn leaves the arduous work of mountain climbing to the Sun in Capricorn for now, it is also challenging Jupiter retrograde in Gemini and Mercury in Sagittarius to finish the work that must be done before leaving for the holidays. Yet, Jupiter is the daily guide of Pisces, and while retrograde in Gemini does its best work in sharing thoughts with like-minded individuals, and seeks a partner in crime in Mercury in Sagittarius to connect the left and right sides of consciousness by having faith and a belief in one’s self, leading to knowledge and enlightenment. Wait a minute, aren’t we supposed to complete the work that Saturn gave us instead of chatting about philosophical meanderings? Oh yeah, that!
As the Moon in Libra is in a third-quarter lunar phase with the Sun in Capricorn, emotional feelings may become a catalyst to take responsible actions without knowing the outcome leading to expansive opportunities with Jupiter in Gemini and Venus in Aquarius!
On the early evening of December 24, the ghosts of Christmas pasts may pay a visit as Jupiter retrograde in Gemini stirs up old memories that collide with the present-day feelings of Saturn in Pisces. While the challenge to dissociate from the past may dredge up deep emotional conflicts, the way through them is a genuine appreciation for the positive memories of the past and a determined resolve to create new ones!

In the early evening of December 26, Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, and both are ready for a dose of good cheer after Saturn in Pisces is done with them for playing instead of working! The celestial week of December 16, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in adventuresome Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to consciously seek the broad horizons of the meaning of life from a higher consciousness by stating one’s case with the courage of conviction. On this day, the Sun in Sagittarius is approaching a black hole in Sagittarius known as the Galactic Center of the Milky Way Galaxy highlighting the awareness of an ability to project one’s vision for the highest evolutionary possibilities being transmitted from the soul for creation by shaping materials into form.
The Earth’s position resides in the opposite sign of Gemini, which sends a message that things are currently dormant and that there is no point in attempting to force growth now as the energy is being used to reinforce the roots for future growth in the Spring. Thus, it is a time of reverent silence to give gratitude for the gifts already received consistently to support life’s journey.
Fortunately, Mercury has just stationed directly in Sagittarius with a message to open your heart to new opportunities and realizations about relating with others. As Mercury moves forward gaining momentum, delayed projects and plans gear up for implementation. However, the caveat is that Jupiter is the King of Sagittarius and is still retrograde in Gemini until February 4, 2025, so caution is key to taking action on promises that may not be delivered due to mixed messages. As the phrase wisely states, if it feels too good to be true, it probably is.
While the forward movement of Mercury in Sagittarius may also spark a desire for international travel, inclement weather may contribute to delays relative to air travel and on the roadways. The celestial week of December 9, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in inspirational Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to feel or intuit the path of surface appearances to discern what is truly going on. Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius is retrograde in Gemini reinforcing the opportunity with a message to think from the higher mind. At the same time, Mercury the messenger of Gemini is retrograde in Sagittarius with a reminder that having faith and believing in oneself can lead to knowledge and enlightenment.
Shortly after, the Moon runs into fiery Aries with an emotional impulse to share ideas without considering the necessary information and actions to facilitate their execution. While that is foreign to the Moon in Aries who is prone to rush into situations quickly, Mars the commander in charge of Aries is retrograde in Leo flashing a caution light with a covert message that now is not the time to proceed, but will support the Moon if called upon! True to the nature of the Moon in Aries to throw caution to the winds, the message may not be heeded as the Moon is oblivious to it!
However, the Moon’s first planetary encounter is with Pluto and Venus in Aquarius who encourage the Moon’s impulsive nature to move forward with intuitive values leading to a powerful transformation of evolutionary enlightenment!
On the morning of December 11, the Moon enters Taurus, bringing a chance to recharge after a few turbulent days. The celestial week of December 2, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in philosophical Sagittarius, illuminating an opportunity to anchor a belief in oneself with intentional faith by linking the body and Spirit as one, through meditation, yoga, and physical activities without rational logic. This comes on the heels of a new moon cycle in Sagittarius beginning on December 1. The spiritual significance of energy is likened to opportunities that are too good to miss, as a geometric Star of David is symbolized as three planets in earth signs and three planets in fire signs, which personify the relationship of God and humanity.
The planets arranged in the star are Venus in Capricorn, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, Part of Fortune in Virgo, Mars in Leo, the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, and the North Node of the future in Aries. Taken together, the opportunity lies in the purpose and soul of humanity empowered with optimistic and expansive beliefs of individuality for the collective good of humankind encompassed in actions of courage and heartfelt convictions that can lead into one’s destiny. Whereas, Venus in Capricorn aligned with Uranus retrograde in Taurus and the part of fortune in Virgo indicates personal values and the willingness to be responsible for creating personal reality can lead to breaking free of the beliefs and values of others to experience evolutional enlightenment is available through a blessing of conscious awareness and utilization of language.
Indeed! True to the nature of expansive Sagittarius that is a lot of powerful energy to contemplate, comprehend, and integrate!
Fortunately, the Moon in Sagittarius has traveled to 26 degrees of Sagittarius and is the Galatic Center of the Milky Way Galaxy. This offers an emotional opportunity to explore the courage of one’s convictions through the presence of a Black Hole experienced as being pulled by some unexplainable source in a specific direction. (1) The significance of this offering is indicative of releasing old patterns, concepts, and limiting ways of being to enable a cord-cutting with the past to birth the Cosmic Child within. Once this occurs, information from the black hole begins to pour in with an inner knowing that cannot be explained. (2) This new horizon of expansive emotional feelings can be explored and shared as a catalyst for the good of humanity that may or may not be readily accepted as precipitation of change comes part and parcel with the sharing.
Later in the afternoon, the Moon begins to climb the emotional mountain of Capricorn as subconscious feelings surface relative to the foundation of security conditioned by parental guidance or lack of it, regarding the ability or willingness to be emotionally responsible for one’s self-respect, authority, maturity, and authenticity in life as a creator of personal reality.
Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently surfing the waves of unconscious Pisces, so dreams, meditations, artistic activities, and hypnotic trances may reveal clues during the next couple of days as guidance and direction.
In the early hours of December 4, Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius faces off with Jupiter retrograde in Gemini illuminating the cooperation, strategies, and information necessary to balance values and beliefs with thoughts about those values and beliefs, suggesting that beliefs may now be questioned as whether they are true for you, or accepted by social, parental, and educational conditioning. Both planets are retrograde with one another in the other’s sign, so ideas and thoughts may bounce back and forth like tennis balls until Mercury goes direct on December 15, 2024.
Later in the morning, the Sun in Sagittarius challenges Saturn in Pisces to take responsible actions relative to intentions about artistic, visionary dreams of February 28, 2024, to explore the opportunities of manifestation.
Before the day ends, the Moon shifts into eclectic Aquarius with a tendency to emotionally detach from romantic relationships for a much-needed break from the emotional investments of the past couple of days. The daily CEO of Aquarius is Saturn drifting through Pisces after its recent challenges with the Sun in Sagittarius, so it barely notices that the Moon is emotionally absent! Meanwhile, the daily ruler of Pisces is Jupiter retrograde in Gemini who has just finished a face-to-face with Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, so the Moon is Aquarius is free to take a transformational trip with Pluto in Aquarius before Mars in Leo realizes that they have left!
On the evening of December 5, Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius and the Sun unite indicating a turning point in the Mercury retrograde cycle to shift gears about romantic adventures planned for the holidays until December 15, when Mercury goes direct! At least, the light has changed from steady red to flashing yellow, until it goes green!
On the early evening of December 6, Mars retrogrades in courageous Leo until February 23, 2025. Mars is action-oriented energy and when it retrogrades, actions slow down, motivation decreases, and tempers may erupt with pent-up frustrations about delays, mechanical breakdowns, affairs of the heart, and childish behaviors. Thus, the holiday season may not be as cheerful or too much effort to enjoy. The key is to keep life in perspective with a reminder of the enormity of nature in light of the big picture, the reason for the season.
A couple of hours later, Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius challenges Saturn in Pisces about dragging its feet about the actions strongly suggested by the Sun in Sagittarius a few days ago. The celestial week of November 25, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in expansive Sagittarius illuminating an opportunity to make genuine progress relative to hitting the mark of intentions during the current third quarter lunar phase of the recent new moon cycle in Scorpio. The caveat is that Jupiter the ruling planet of Sagittarius is currently retrograde in Gemini, indicating that others who aligned with the intentions have decided to hold off for the time being instead of moving forward.
Whereas, Mercury the planetary messenger of Gemini is stationed in Sagittarius (without movement) before it goes retrograde later this evening, thereby also currently unavailable to assist with the manifestation of those intentions.
However, all is not lost, merely delayed. The inherent blessing is an opportunity to realign the focus of the intentions until the energy is congruent to move forward with a more specific and realistic target date of accomplishment.
Meanwhile, the Moon has just gracefully stepped into politically correct Libra with an agenda to gain power in the corporate world through win/win solutions that demonstrate financial results of gain. The agenda lies in gaining the support of the Sun in Sagittarius, Mars in Leo, and Pluto in Aquarius to support the agenda with expansive, powerful actions of success.
While the support of the Sun, Mars, and Pluto may open powerful connections of networking with others, the Moon in Libra has to match wits with its planetary ruler Venus in Capricorn, over challenges regarding financial resources and investments. The celestial week of November 18, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in potentially explosive Scorpio, illuminating a smoldering, volcanic energy that threatens to erupt when it feels that it is not heard courtesy of the transcendental ruler Pluto! Mars, the daily ruler of Scorpio, is moving through courageous Leo and stands at the edge of the volcano with a decision to continue standing still or crossing over it without going down in the flames if it erupts before Pluto moves into icy Aquarius on November 14.
As Mars in Leo tends to rush into battle where angels fear to tread, the likelihood of taking a chance is evident, with a slight hesitation as Pluto is still in Capricorn demonstrating the ability of mastery control.
Meanwhile, the Moon has just plunged into the emotional pond of watery Cancer with an opportunity to transform subconscious emotions related to home and family with a relentless power to weather the storms of opposition between Jupiter retrograde in Gemini and Mercury in Sagittarius as the two at odds with a difference of opinions and information about what is required to balance current dilemmas that appears to be overwhelming. Fortunately, the overwhelm subsides as an agreement to come to a reasonable consensus occurs with Venus in Capricorn offering realistic solutions.

The celestial week of November 11, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in alchemical Scorpio illuminating an opportunity to reveal the mysteries of venturing down a sacred pathway of new possibilities and opportunities. Mars, the daily manager of Scorpio is currently positioned in Leo highlighting the power to do so with courageous actions to assert one’s independence from social, inhibiting constraints. Whereas, Pluto the transcendental CEO of Scorpio is finishing up a long sojourn in Capricorn with mastery control before it moves into eccentric, inventive, and intuitive Aquarius for the next twenty years!
The caveat is that the Sun in Scorpio and Mars in Leo have a natural tendency to square off with stubborn resistance if either feels that their position is not respected, that can have the effect of putting out the fire and the actions needed to keep it going! Fortunately, Pluto holds the power behind Scorpio and is opposing Mars in Leo, so this round goes to the Sun!
As the Sun travels through Scorpio symbolizing the power of transformation, the Earth resides in steadfast Taurus offering fleeting opportunities to ground values relative to the quality of life and the freedom to explore and enjoy it with others.

The celestial week of November 4, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in emotionally intense Scorpio illuminating a powerful urge to create one’s vision relative to the purpose of the current new moon cycle in Scorpio, by thinking quickly and making momentary decisions with the awareness of taking responsibility for the outcomes.
Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn are the co-rulers of Scorpio respectively, and have just entered into an illuminating phase concerning a foundation of emotional security and the power of career stability that may require win/win solutions to achieve the necessary balance to move forward.
Now that the powers that be each have a place at the table, Mars has moved into kingly Leo with a fired-up attitude geared toward charismatic actions to rule the day, cooperative solutions may become unlikely if the king doesn’t get his way! While there may be blustering outbursts that get attention, it may also be the beginning of a fall from grace when Mars goes retrograde on December 6, 2024. Whereas, powerful Pluto in authoritative Capricorn is quietly biding its time before it sweeps the chessboard with a final checkmate position with real power!
In the early hours of November 5, the Moon goes void-of-course at twenty-eight degrees in a challenging encounter with Neptune retrograde in Pisces suggesting that the quest for the expression of emotional freedom is at odds with unconscious illusions that appear to threaten that freedom. The caveat is that the Moon will be void-of-course when the polls open for final voting in the US presidential election. The traditional astrological signature of the moon void of course when something starts is that “nothing comes from it.”
However the moon was void-of-course when President Obama took the oath of office in 2008, and what did not come from it was a potential economic crisis of another great depression as the economy teetered on the edge of a catastrophic collapse, additional wars were not launched, and the Affordable Care Act was enacted providing health insurance coverage to 94% of American citizens.
Therefore, the polls open under an emotionally charged Moon in Sagittarius that may feel like there is no end in sight for the challenges the country currently faces, regardless of who becomes president. However, the polls close with the Moon in authoritative Capricorn presupposing that emotional order is restored with individuals getting an emotional grip of leadership with an awareness of who is truly in charge at the end of the day.
As the Moon continues to travel through Capricorn a somber emotional climate permeates the atmosphere relative to an ability to demonstrate personal responsibility for behavioral actions regardless of opinions and beliefs relative to the political drama unfolding. Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn is currently retrograde in nebulous Pisces with an opportunity to dissolve perceived limitations of separation based on illusions without a foundation of reality.
On the afternoon of November 6, the Sun reaches the fifteenth degree of Scorpio announcing the disseminating solar phase of the current solar cycle begun at the Spring Equinox in 2024. The disseminating phase is one of sharing the current harvest received with others so that all have the opportunity to thrive, instead of just surviving. Thus, the next forty-five days are ripe to share the bountiful harvest provided by Spirit with gratitude for the gifts received.
Shortly after sunrise on November 7, Mercury bounces into the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle with a preview of the coming circumstances and events that will begin to unwind on November 25 until December 15 when Mercury goes direct in Sagittarius. At this time of year, this particular Mercury retrograde may likely affect the holiday season with the theme of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (1) until December 15, when the shopping frenzy takes on a life of its own!

The celestial week of October 28, 2024, begins on a positive omen of divine encouragement as the Sun rises in powerful, transformative Scorpio highlighting an opportunity to experience the easy fulfillment of hopes and dreams.
However, divine encouragement is attributed to the formation of the Star of David between the positions of Mars in Cancer, Moon in Virgo, Mercury in Scorpio, Uranus retrograde in Taurus, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn. This suggests the emergence of higher and lower dimensions, enabling one to connect to the Divine path of spiritual evolution.
The astrological signs that comprise the Star are feminine symbolizing the elements of water and earth as a nurturing energy. The Star points upward and downward in a triangular alignment intersecting one another to emphasize the Hermetic axion, “As Above, So Below.”
Whereas, the planets represent a combination of inner and outer consciousness representing emotional actions (Mars in Cancer), emotional intellect (Moon in Virgo), subconscious mental actions (Mercury in Scorpio), the breakthrough of earthly values for spiritual freedom (Uranus retrograde in Taurus), unconscious spiritual transcendence of separation leading to Oneness (Neptune retrograde in Pisces), through the power of transformation (Pluto in Capricorn).

Shortly after sunrise, Venus in Sagittarius squares off with Saturn retrograde in Pisces over beliefs relative to the value of freedom and dissolving unconscious limitations that have the subconscious power to sabotage financial resources and relationships. A key to becoming consciously aware of arguing for those limitations without the knowledge and information to support them, so that new ideas can be considered without bias or prejudices.
Just before the day ends, the Moon glides into charming Libra to smooth over the challenges of the day with emotional savvy to soothe the ragged edges with caring compassion, and a listening ear.
