Cosmic Insights – June 17, 2024 June 16, 2024

The celestial week of June 17, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in carefree Gemini, illuminating an opportunity to experience new perceptions arising from larger realities.  Hours before the Sun rises, Mercury the CEO of Gemini takes on a new persona as it dips into the shallow pond of emotional Cancer.  As Mercury shifts into sensitive Cancer, communication takes on a different mode of expression as feelings impact the delivery of information about family, nurturing, comfort, and caring.  

Venus also changed signs in the early hours of July 17, as it waded into vulnerable, touchy-feely Cancer, followed by the Moon in secretive, subconscious Scorpio, and Mercury in Gemini squaring Neptune in Pisces.  

As planetary changes occur before the Sun rises, a restless night may be in store as powerful dreams bring forth subconscious information that challenges your thoughts and feelings about hopes, wishes, and dreams.  If it feels like you awaken in a different state of consciousness, you likely have.  

While the Sun in Gemini is light-hearted and motivated by curiosity and fun, Mercury and Venus in Cancer need to feel comfortable, secure, and cared for.  Thus, an uncomfortable feeling may permeate the atmosphere for a few days, as the Sun may distance itself from taking care of the needs of others.

Shortly after Venus arrives in Cancer, the Moon submerges in emotionally intense Scorpio under a cover of darkness to either release the negative emotions and limiting decisions as a means of transformation, or project them onto others which meets with actional resistance.  Thus, the next few days are a significant window of opportunity to take responsibility for one’s emotional state as cosmic feedback is needed for life-changing choices to experience a greater quality of life.  The key is to be gentle with oneself and others as the mental atmosphere shifts to an emotional one.

Before the work day begins, Mercury and Venus also unite in Cancer behind the scenes to mark an unconscious turning point to let go of old ways, habits, and others that are incongruent with the new direction that conscious choices are being made to take an emotional leap of faith without knowing the outcome!  Information and values that are emotionally triggered now are a clue to the leap of faith and unknowable outcomes that will unfold during the next forty-eight days.

On the midmorning of June 19, the lunar landscape shifts significantly as the Moon bungee jumps into Sagittarius with a desire for new adventures and emotional relief from the past few days.  Thus, it initially engages Pluto retrograde in Aquarius to book a flight to an unknown destination, before Jupiter in Gemini throws a monkey wrench into the plans!  Yet, the Moon in Sagittarius feels like it needs a break so it may make a deal with Jupiter to take a quick trip instead of an extended one!  As the Moon in Sag and Pluto retrograde in Gemini are in a yod formation with the Sun in late Gemini, and Mercury and Venus in Cancer, it is wise to give the Moon in Sagittarius some room to roam so they will come back home!

On the afternoon of June 20, the Sun in Gemini has a challenging encounter with Neptune in Pisces as it shares information and advice to take actions based on emotions without knowing the outcome to manifest dreams into reality!

Shortly after, the Sun moves into Cancer as it reaches the highest point of elevation in the sky to proclaim the Summer Solstice.  The word solstice means “sun standing still” before it begins its descent, symbolizing a time to pause and determine a course of action based on the information gathered during the recent forty-five days relevant to the intentions seeded at the Spring Equinox.  From the perspective of the solar cycle, this is the first quarter phase where one separates from the whole to seek individuality.  It is the time to step out and achieve without the support of others to achieve what you desire.  It is also a time of taking actions based on emotional feelings without knowing the outcome!

Mars is the planet of action and is moving slowly through Taurus, so actions need to be tempered with patience, which can frustrate Mars!  However, now is not the time to push the envelope or agendas, as Mars in Taurus may dig in its heels and refuse to comply or cooperate!

On the evening of June 21, the Moon moves into earthy Capricorn to begin to climb an emotional mountain of feelings with authoritative dignity to balance out the emotional energy of three planets in Cancer with a reminder that it is the responsibility of Cancer to care for itself instead of expecting others to.  

Shortly after, a full lunar phase occurs as the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Capricorn to illuminate the cooperation needed to balance the financial and emotional aspects of security vs insecurity issues that were highlighted at the lunar eclipse in March of 2024 between the Sun in Aries and the Moon in Libra, with responsible actions wrapped in a leap of faith!

Cosmic Insights – June 10, 2024 June 9, 2024

The celestial week of June 10, 2024, begins with the Sun rising in mentally flexible Gemini illuminating dual opportunities to stand up for what you desire while exchanging views with like-minded individuals.

The characterization of Gemini’s energy is akin to quick thinking and clever ideas that are option-oriented and often with an agenda.  While it is likened to a used car salesman or con artist, that is the lower vibrational energy. In contrast, the higher vibrations are geared toward teaching and sharing knowledge with long-term sustainable value.  Secondary education is also qualified by Gemini, where young impressionable minds are taught to read, write, listen, and think as teachers and mentors guide them.  Gemini has a curious quality and enjoys inventing unique solutions to everyday tasks.  Hence, the gimmicks that fly off the shelves that are advertised to have simple but magical attributes!  

However, too often adults seem to have forgotten the joy of learning a new or different skill that may shift their perception or model of the world, preferring to stick to what is familiar and refuse to entertain new ideas or ways of doing things.  Yet, innovation and inventions are also Gemini energy that has given society threads of communicating and connecting throughout history, whether it was symbols, smoke signals, Pony Express, telegraphs, telephones, radio, transistors, satellites, Internet, smartphones, wireless technologies, social media, and artificial intelligence!  

Where will it stop?  It won’t as long as curious thinkers continue to contemplate uses for viable communication and exchange ideas with others.  Currently, four planets are touring the constellation of Gemini as Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the Sun are signed up for spring sessions filled with mentally curious explorations!  Jupiter will continue in Gemini for the remainder of 2024, and into the Spring of 2025, so now is the time to sharpen thoughts into ideas and projects that can expand the nature of reality over the next twelve years in all areas of communication, vehicles as potential flying machines, education, comedic entertainment, computers, sales, and technology!

Meanwhile. the Moon is strutting in the full majestic glory of Leo after squaring off with Mars in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius over controlling differences about transforming financial resources and relationships for a greater quality of experience.  Now it’s time to play with Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the Sun in Gemini!  Thus, today might be a great day to take off work and spend time in the Sun with friends and playmates!

You will be glad you did when the Moon shifts emotional gears in the early hours of June 12, as it drives into methodical Virgo to analyze feelings that may be unknowingly triggered in the work environment.  Virgo energy is solution-oriented and tends to think about how it feels logically, instead of allowing feelings to precipitate thinking.  The caveat now is that Mercury rules Virgo, and is currently playing in the sandbox of Gemini, so there may be a greater tendency to express feelings in a teasing or playful manner that the Moon in Virgo does not find amusing.  More likely, it may seem like fingernails scratching across a chalkboard for the next couple of days, so the best way to establish an emotional rapport with the Moon in Virgo is to offer assistance instead of making jokes or pranks to get their attention!

The filters of communication may also need to be cleaned out as the Sun rises later, as Mercury in Gemini trips over the authority of Saturn in Pises with mischievous behaviors that feel irresponsible to others who may feel overwhelmed or depressed with too much to do and not enough time or resources to complete the tasks at hand.

The theme of communication and connections continue on the midmorning of June 14, as Mercury and the Sun unite in Gemini to open a doorway of opportunity to trim off nonessentials and get to the bare reality to clear away the evidence of the past to give a fresh, clean image and allow powerful energies within to rise and grow with the heavens!

The emotional climate shifts significantly later in the afternoon as the Moon glides gratefully into Libra to socially interact with Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the Sun in Gemini for a fun-filled weekend!  However, there may be a few romantic diversions or detours as it skillfully navigates stubborn resistance with Mars and Uranus in Taurus, while dancing away from woe-is-me or victimization behaviors with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces!

Cosmic Insights – June 3, 2024 June 3, 2024

The celestial week of June 3, begins with the Sun rising in mischievous, playful Gemini illuminating an opportunity to conquer time and space limitations through clear, conscious thoughts!  Mercury, the planetary messenger and trickster that rules Gemini, has just flitted into Gemini to join Jupiter, Venus! and the Sun!   

My, oh my, options and more options are now on the menu of consciousness!  As a result, the conglomerate of planetary cast members is momentarily in alignment relative to purpose, values, expansive opportunities, ideas, and how to execute them!  The caveat is that there are so many options to choose from that the challenge may lie in choosing just one!

Gemini energy is symbolic of butterflies moving to and fro to sample all the delights in the garden, so while choices are abundant now, they are also fleeting as one flower fades and others bloom!  The key is to make choices now that embody a spirit of curiosity, magic, entertainment, comedy, fun, and limitless possibilities while avoiding them if there is an ounce of boredom accompanying them as hitchhikers!

Meanwhile, the Moon has just settled into calm and comfortable Taurus, so emotional feelings become stabilized about the possible potentials available now to prevent blowing out a fuse on an overloaded circuit of mental energy!  

As this celestial week begins under a balsamic lunar phase, it is also an opportunity to release and/or reframe any limiting decisions or negative emotions before the new moon cycle occurs later in the week.  Thoughts and words are the tools of the Gemini magician, so weeding out thoughts of lack, illness, worry, and the negative emotions of fear, anger, sadness, guilt, and hurt will leave room for the garden of life to yield happiness, joy, abundance, and love!

In the early hours of June 4, Mercury and Jupiter unite in Gemini with a huge opportunity of expansive options to choose from concerning ventures of writing, publishing, gaming, apps, computers, technology, and anything else that can lead to beauty, order, self-confidence, and authority that you and others have developed and achieved.

This particular union in Gemini is highly favored to implement ideas relative to communication that can produce an unlimited yield, as Mercury is the planet of ideas and information, and Jupiter is the planet of opportunities, philosophies, and expansions.  Thus, the key to utilizing the power of this cosmic union lies in the awareness of creating personal reality through positive or negative thoughts and that the Universe has a unique sense of humor, so make sure you receive what you want instead of what you get!

Later in the morning, Venus and the Sun also unite in Gemini with an opportunity to relate to others in a sharing of innocent and carefree thoughts and ideas, that can lead to success in business and careers.  So if someone says to you, “Hey, I have a good idea,”  it is certainly worth a listen!  While it may seem too casual or silly, it will at least be likely entertaining, and maybe a hit you didn’t see coming!

In the early hours of June 5, the Moon joins Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, and the Sun in Gemini in a playful, informative meeting of the minds with emotional support and nurturing.  Although the emotional tone of the Moon in Gemini is usually light, teasing remarks made in casual fun may elicit negative emotions from childhood experiences that are covered in laughter to make true feelings.  Thus, treading lightly in casual conversations can alleviate hurt feelings and misunderstandings.

Before the work day begins on June 6, a new moon cycle occurs in Gemini with a valuable opportunity to consciously and intentionally plant seeds of abundance relative to communication that can produce unlimited opportunities to manifest hopes, wishes, and dreams during the next twelve years!

On the morning of June 7, the Moon sinks into the emotional waters of Cancer to reflect on feelings associated with the potential of the new moon cycle.  While the anticipation of them is appealing, the unknown factors may unconsciously lead to hesitation due to emotional insecurity and feeling outside of one’s comfort zone.  The key is to allow the feelings to surface to gain information from them about their root cause, instead of allowing the feeling to dictate behaviors and actions.  Regardless, it’s time to trust your gut instincts before proceeding, until it feels right.
