The celestial week of December 29th, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in dependable, earthy Capricorn, illuminating an opportunity to be spiritually lifted up in faith and hope.  Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn, is residing in spiritual Pisces, reaping the benefits of the work that has been done in faith, of opportunities manifesting on the horizon through the emotional flowing energy of the Moon in Taurus, materializing the value of spiritual empowerment.

Meanwhile, the Moon has just entered the pastures of Taurus, to graze upon the peace found in harmony with the Sun in Capricorn.  However, there is an emotional discordant matter to be addressed before lunch with Pluto in Aquarius, over the ‘whatever’ attitude being displayed by Pluto about the personal power of detachment relevant to family values. Therefore, a morning walk to ground the celestial energy may be helpful beforehand. After the dust settles, the next couple of days are useful to work with others, to accomplish the manifestation of career and business objectives.

In the early hours of December 30th, Mercury and Sagittarius may create conflicts with Saturn in Pisces, with unsolicited, outspoken opinions about children, creativity, or romantic encounters. As Mercury in Sagittarius is currently engaged in a yod configuration, with Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, and Uranus retrograde in Taurus, there is a sense of destiny playing out in emotional turbulence regarding relationships. Thus, now is not the time to poke the bear, otherwise there may be unpredictable repercussions of an emotional nature once Uranus goes direct in February, followed by Jupiter in March of 2026.

On the morning of December 31st, the Moon shifts into clever, curious Gemini, with an emotional restless desire to kick the past year of 2025 to the curb, while accelerating on the gas to get the new year started. Gemini is playful and tends to get bored easily, so it can change plans quickly if it isn’t being entertained, thus bar hopping may be on the party agenda to bring in the new year with cheer! The caveat is that Mercury is the supervisor of Gemini, and while more than ready to turn up the volume on the merrymaking, it is now at an exact incongruent position with Uranus retrograde in Taurus, so unconscious attitude adjustments from Mercury in Sagittarius may require an alternate perception for the energy to shift from wobbling off course before the party gets started.

At the stroke of midnight on December 31st, the New Year of 2026 begins, with the Sun in Capricorn and the Moon in Gemini, at odds with one another in a gibbous lunar phase. Thus an emotional wobble begins the year. The Sun’s steady position on this day every year is the catalyst to go after one’s goals, hence new year resolutions.  Yet the Moon in Gemini has a different idea to go off the beaten track with an emotional pioneer attitude. Therein lies the rub! The Sun in earthy Capricorn is about building foundations that stand the test of time, while the Moon in Gemini is inclined to flow with the wind, seeking emotional stimulation for motivation. Thus, incongruent energy begins the new year.  However, the new year can become a blend of energy working together to build a firm foundation that is emotionally enjoyable, with a common vision structured by emotional intelligence and playful attitudes. The key is to ground the purpose of the vision and go with the emotional flow of creation!

Although the morning breakfast of January 1st may start off with the hair of the dog on the menu if overindulgence occurred in the spirit of celebrating, as Mercury in Sagittarius squares off with Neptune in Pisces.  Therefore, there may be challenges in communicating or even considering New Year’s resolutions if there are fireworks still going off in your head.

Therefore, it could be advantageous to wait and make resolutions until the 2026 Spring Equinox anyway, as the calendar day of January 1st falls in the third quarter solar phase, which is energetically about taking responsible actions to complete the manifestation of intentions consciously or unconsciously planted in the spring of 2025.

Later in the afternoon, Mercury settles down in serious Capricorn to contemplate the information needed to bring plans and goals of the past year to fruition. Mercury in Capricorn is more concerned about business and partnership goals for the coming year, so others who can demonstrate dependability should only be considered during the next few weeks.

On the morning of January 2nd, the Moon wades into the emotional waters of Cancer to wind up what is left of the work week.  Although it may be more beneficial to continue with time off to recover from the holiday celebrations instead of pushing the envelope prematurely, unless work responsibilities are a brief reprieve from family affairs.

The celestial week of December 22, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in authoritative Capricorn, illuminating an opportunity to assume authority and to find a true sense of place in the world by taking charge as a CEO of reality and accepting the responsibility of it as well.

This comes on the heels of the Winter Solstice occurring on December 21,  with a quiet yet noticeable shift in energy as the arrival of the Sun’s rebirth occurs as a reminder to seek the light within of Christ’s Consciousness.

On a mundane level, the solar cycle of 2025 has become a third-quarter phase to the Spring Equinox of 2025, opening a doorway of 45 days to take responsible actions to complete the manifestation of intentions seeded then.

Saturn is the CEO of Capricorn and is flowing through visionary Pisces, acknowledging an opportunity to diversify talents and apply them in a different direction to experience new opportunities and potentials.

Whereas Jupiter is the daily manager of Pisces and is moving through Cancer to heal emotional wounds stirred up by Chiron, retrograde in Aries. The caveat is that during the annual celebratory season of Christmas, the ghost of Christmas past may recur to shadow the season.

However, if the nostalgic journey presents itself, the consideration of what was learned becomes the gift of the season for the present and future transformation and redemption.  Pisces and Cancer characterize the unconscious emotional imprints of the past that resurface as a catalyst for resolution, yet can become an emotional reactionary trigger as a self-defense mechanism.

The key is to circumvent the emotional trigger with acknowledgement, through a mental process to question what can be learned from past experiences, instead of unconsciously reacting, so that the learnings can integrate consciously and become shared knowledge for the present emotional health and well-being.  Now that is a gift that keeps on giving for a greater quality of life!

Meanwhile, the Moon is finishing up a somber visit in earthy Capricorn to visit with Neptune in Pisces for a quiet reflection of contemplation on the spiritual meaning of the symbolism of the season that opens pathways to a spiritual direction and a realization of a concrete manifestation of spiritual ideals.

Later in the morning, the Moon leaves serious duty-oriented Capricorn for an abrupt and possibly emotional chaotic experience to wrap up last-minute shopping, travel details, and visiting with others in an atmosphere that can spin on a dime!  Thus, the next couple of days may become a literal emotional spin as plans go awry or as a practical distraction as a symptom of emotional avoidance and a means to detach from the weight of feeling something that is amiss instead of celebrating.

Before the day ends on December 23rd,  Venus in Sagittarius dares to raise challenges with Neptune in Pisces about the value of truth in relationships, which Neptune in Pisces seeks to avoid as the ideal of truth is elusive, cloaked in individual perceptions.  As in all challenges, the resolution lies in a meeting of the minds with a mutual respect for individual opinions without the dismissal of respective ideas through the act of compromise to resolve conflicts.  In this conflict, the resolution lies in detached Aquarius with an agreement to disagree with unconditional love for oneself and others.

On the mid-morning of December 24th, Venus moves into ambitious Capricorn with a desire to wrap up business activities before finalizing plans for Christmas activities. Now that Venus joins the Sun and Mars in Capricorn, business goals and career are the unspoken priority, as celebrations may seem like a temporary distraction.

Fortunately, the Moon dives into the unconscious depths of Pisces before the day ends, shifting the emotional temperature from detachment to compassion, love, and the awareness that humanity is held together by the thread of Christ consciousness born within the nature of humanity.
