Cosmic Insights – July 4, 2022! July 3, 2022

The celestial week of July 4, 2022, begins on a celebratory note for the United States as its 246 birthday arrives as the Sun rises in caring Cancer, illuminating an opportunity and a reminder that America was founded on openness and willingness to extend oneself to others in light of the personal freedom that the citizens of the US experiences daily.

Cancer energy is governed by the Moon which has influence over the masses, food, nurturing, emotional feelings, and home and family. Thus, there is an inherent nature to care for others that are less fortunate and/or unable to care for themselves. However, the caveat with Cancer energy is that there is an unconscious tendency to become dependent on others, and in effect sacrifice their personal freedom to make choices for themselves. Thus, the key is to teach others to care for themselves with a demonstration of responsible behaviors and actions that encourage healthy and sustainable growth emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Meanwhile, the Moon and the main character currently stealing the show from the Sun in Cancer is moving through detail-oriented Virgo, revealing secret motives and agendas through casual conversations relative to recent events concerning home, family, and children, which may set off fireworks before they begin!

Mercury, the messenger of the planets and CEO of Virgo is finishing up a visit in curious Gemini (another sign guided by Mercury) with dual and covert messages that there are opportunities of enormous potential and talent to take advantage of by taking an existing idea or concept, make sense of it, and improve upon it for the current times and conditions. The key is recognizing the potential and being the first one on the block to see the opportunity and go for it!

In the early hours of July 5, the energetic climate shifts significantly as the action-oriented planet Mars goes from red hot reactive Aries into slow down responsive Taurus regarding actions. Mars in Taurus prefers to take its time and weigh all of the available factors before making financial decisions and relationships, so it is time to take a step back and reconsider all available options that will improve or escalate in value.

Venus, the queen of Taurus, resources, and relating is moving through quick-silver Gemini and is prepared to sell anyone the Brooklyn Bridge or oceanfront property in Arizona with her charming sales pitch served up with flattery and come hither looks! Yet, Venus loves to hedge her bets with a partner to back up her play, so it seeks to engage Mercury the CEO of Gemini for information, ideas, and opportunities to take advantage of while there is more than one choice at hand!

However, minutes later Mercury swims into emotional Cancer and choices made the night before are going to be filtered through emotional feelings, which are subject to change every two and a half days, relative to home, family, and children. Not to mention that the sensitivity gauge is going up as Mercury and the Sun travel through Cancer. Fortunately, the Moon is still in Virgo until the end of the workday, so common sense will likely prevail to stop the emotional train going off the tracks.

Later, the Moon travels into cooperative, politically correct, Libra so emotional feelings may become more balanced as all sides are considered in light of fairness and equality. However, there may be some attitude adjustments at hand if Mars in Taurus is resistant to taking actions it is not ready to. Both Libra and Taurus are supervised by charming Venus, so the silver tongue devil may just win this round!

However, it is wise to choose words with care as the Moon in Libra and Venus in Gemini may step on the sensitive toes of Mercury in Cancer if teasing remarks are made that feel unkind or inconsiderate. Thus, the next couple of days may seem like a series of ups and downs in relationships which requires putting out emotional fires with sincere apologies and more importantly, a demonstration of changed behavior.

In the early hours of July 8, the Moon quietly slips into intense emotional Scorpio with a passionate desire to transform subconscious emotions that sneak up without warning about self-values. Mars, the daily CEO in charge of Scorpio is moving slowly and quietly through Taurus and as it initially opposes the Moon in Scorpio, there is a mirroring effect that is unsettling and may be a catalyst to project unresolved and unconscious issues onto others. Not that it will work, mind you. No, Mars in Taurus will just return the unrelenting stare and emotional scorn of Scorpio with a silence that requires no words.

Therefore, it is up to Pluto the transcendental ruler of Scorpio and who has retreated into Capricorn to step out of the shadows and rein in the torrent of emotional rage about to be released into the Universe, with a stern reminder that what is sent out comes back to the sender with a force to be reckoned with!

As luck would have it as a distraction, shortly after breakfast another planetary challenging encounter is set up between the Sun in Cancer and Chiron in Aries as old emotional wounds may have the bandage ripped off without warning when the Sun in Cancer takes a trip back down memory lane as subconscious unresolved feelings resurface to be healed. Now, that the Moon in Scorpio has been reprimanded by Pluto, it is up to the task of taking actions based on the reflection of a long look in the mirror of the soul. Thus, the weekend is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with oneself to set the wheels in motion.
