The celestial week of July 11, 2022, begins with the Sun rising in nurturing, emotional security-conscious Cancer illuminates an opportunity to break free from the emotional restrictions and expectations of others, which is actually emotional manipulation to satisfy the personal needs of others instead of taking care of oneself.  The caveat is that there is also a distinct possibility of feeling the emotional agendas of others without realizing that they aren’t yours because it is being felt or sensed in yourself.  

That is the nature of Cancer energy, it feels the emotions of others and the energy of the environment without the conscious ability to distinguish it from itself because it is water energy, and water flows seamlessly from one location to another.  So for the time being, it is helpful when something doesn’t feel quite right, to step back and ask yourself, where is this coming from?  If you wait a few moments, the answer will likely be revealed and then you can gain clarity about the situation, and whether you want to become a part of it, or respectfully decline.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Cancer is the Moon and it is currently sky-diving through Sagittarius in an adventuresome mood as a distraction from overwhelming feelings and trying to discern what they mean or what to do about them.   While the Moon is visiting Sag, it needs the room to roam away from home and experience new emotional journeys without feeling that it is abandoning family because it seeks emotional freedom from the clinging needs of others.  

As the Sun and Moon are currently in a gibbous lunar phase and there is an incongruency between respective emotional needs, there is wobbling energy present about nurturing others and the freedom to pursue personal hopes, wishes, and dreams, or cave into the emotional pressure to take care of others.  

However, Uranus in Taurus is also involved in this dynamic with the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Sagittarius as a yod configuration.  Yods are considered to be mystical energy symbolizing a problem or issue in life that requires an attitude adjustment through an opportunity of communication to resolve incongruent principles or ideas.  It is also considered to be very karmic or the “finger of God” pointing to a predestined destiny.

Thus, today may begin with an unexpected feeling of emotional stress that begs one to break free of as the Sun in Cancer may feel threatened by the Moon in Sagittarius needing to be emotionally free and Uranus in Taurus feels stuck in the middle between the value of caring for others and feeling emotionally free of them at the same time.  As a result, relationships with others may undergo a breaking point if each one does not honor their own independent needs and pursue them without needing approval from one another.  So, today would be a great day to take time off for some personal me time, to keep from feeling that relationships are emotionally choking the life out of you, or restricting your freedom.  

In the early hours of July 12, the emotional climate shifts from emotional pleasure-seeking energy to avoid feeling emotions to focusing on serious business relationships as the Moon plants itself on the Capricorn mountain of career success.  

The initial encounter that the Moon in Capricorn experiences is a positive one with Mars in Taurus, so the day begins on a note of motivation to move forward with valuable actions to manifest hopes, wishes, and dreams with like-minded others.  However, Saturn the CEO of Capricorn in retrograde in Aquarius, so authorities are not inclined to step on an unknown limb without some evidence that innovative ideas are going to produce success.  

Yet, Venus in Gemini may just be able to pull a rabbit out of its hat and convince them to sign on the dotted line with quick thinking and unique solutions.  The caveat is that it also has to feel right or it may be back to the drawing board.

Before the day ends, Mercury in Cancer squares off with Chiron in Aries and may trigger childhood or family memories that set the stage for wounds of abandonment to surface to be healed from the perspective of the adult instead of the wounded child within.  While it may be tempting to relive the emotional past, it will only serve as a reminder of the emotional pain experienced instead of becoming free to live life to the fullest.

On the afternoon of July 13, a full lunar phase occurs as the Moon in Capricorn opposes the Sun in Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to balance priorities between home and family responsibilities with career and business goals and ambitions.  It is an interesting full moon as the Sun and Moon have symbolically switched places as the Moon in Capricorn is focused on business and the Sun in Cancer is more concerned with home and family.  It is similar to Mr. Mom and Mrs. Corporate Executive, which helps each one to understand the role of the other and work together as a partnership with equality and respect for one another.

Minutes after July 14 arrives, other challenges may occur as old victim issues surface for resolution through communication as Venus in Gemini squares off with Neptune in Pisces.  Since this occurs as you either are asleep or drifting off, sleep may be restless as unsettling dreams symbolically provide hidden or unconscious emotions as information about relationships.  While it may be tempting to jump to conclusions or assume their meaning upon waking, dreams are often symbolic of unresolved personal concerns and then projected onto others as a means to evade owning them.

A few hours later, the Moon streaks into unpredictable Aquarius, so they may also be shrugged off with emotional detachment for the time being.  However, the information revealed prior to waking may also result in intuitive epiphanies during the next couple of days that provide subconscious clues as to their meaning.  The key is to receive the best and release the rest!
