The celestial week of May 15, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in serene, earthy Taurus illuminating an opportunity to live in peace with others with simplistic values of love and reverence for the beauty and sustenance of the earth’s energy to sustain the life of humanity that has stood the test of time.

Venus the queenly CEO of Taurus is moving calmly through the emotionally turbulent waters of Cancer with a valuable reminder to keep a sense of delight and fun while going after what you want will ultimately lead to fulfillment. Whereas, the overseer of Cancer is the Moon who is moving swiftly through sparky Aries and is reinforcing the feeling to let go of seriousness now and just enjoy the emotional ride of freedom!

However, Mars the planetary warrior is also moving through Cancer stirring up emotional issues with others by going against the status quo by accepting people without biased judgments relative to the conditioning of past generations.

Fortunately, Mercury has just begun moving forward in calm Taurus with the ability to soothe the churning waters of the Moon in Aries’s temperamental fiery emotions with a steady voice of reason to stabilize the changes that are taking place with home and family.

A huge shift of energy occurs after lunch on May 16, when Jupiter leaves energetic Aries to spend a year in lackadaisical Taurus with a desire to utilize valuable time and resources to shore up the next twelve years with the values of a simpler and greater quality way of life, instead of a knee-jerk reaction of scarcity rooted in unconscious fear.

Thus, now is a time of quiet reflection on the true meaning of life and the actions required to sustain it for the opportunity to live it in peace, harmony, and love instead of the connoisseur of it.

Just before the work day begins on May 17, the Moon joins Jupiter, Mercury, and the Sun in Taurus with an emotional feeling of peaceful contentment with the blessings of life rooted in the values of home, family, and the joys experienced in nature without the recent pressure of having, doing and being constantly on the go.

Yet, the day may initially start off with an emotionally jarring effect as the Moon in Taurus counters the “whatever” attitude of Pluto in Aquarius about unpredictable changes on the horizon with a peaceful reminder of, “it is what it is, and it will be what it will be,” as the Moon in Taurus embraces the unknown with a peacefulness rooted in enduring faith.

In the midmorning of May 19, a new moon cycle begins as the Sun and Moon unite in Taurus with a congruent intention to pursue a pathway of values relative to nourishing an emotional, spiritual, and financial foundation with an innate knowing that endurance is achieved with focused and consistent attention to what is desired in the present.

Thus, this cycle of energy is ideal for consciously choosing seeds of intentions and planting them in the fertile ground of positive thoughts, communication, actions, feelings, beliefs, and values to understand and experience the innate ability to manifest desires into reality with conscious persistence!

Shortly after the new moon cycle occurs, the Moon blows into conscious Gemini with insights, ideas, and curiosity that may lead to clarity about the direction to take now that will produce a crop of wealth that keeps on giving! Something along the lines of the fairy tale of Jack and the Beanstalk! Who knew?!!!
