The celestial week of July 20th, 2026, begins with the Sun rising in sensitive, emotionally vulnerable Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to shine a light on challenging the status quo of introducing new people into usual intimate family or business circles with loving kindness and acceptance, instead of judgmental attitudes. 

The Moon is the ruler of Cancer and is currently positioned in relationship-oriented Libra to emotionally disconnect from the pain of past relationships while remaining true to oneself and others through Venus, the goddess of Libra, as it heals them in Virgo. Mercury retrograde in Cancer offers the message that small, careful beginnings can lead to a beautiful flowering, with emotional care through communication. 

On a transcendental level of consciousness, the ongoing cat’s cradle configuration is taking place and peaks before the Sun rises with Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, Jupiter in Leo, and Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, with each planet at four degrees respectively in their astrological sign, acknowledged as a basket configuration or cat’s cradle with an emphasis on the laying of a solid foundation with divine support into a new era of technology, decentralized power, and community-driven ideals. 

As the Sun rises in the collective grouping, Jupiter in Leo presents itself proudly as the leader that either rocks the cradle from the heart of the lion or prances through the sky with a look-at-me posturing attitude, only to be opposed by Pluto retrograde in Aquarius with a withering icy contempt for attempting to steal the spotlight from humanitarian causes of freedom and equality for all.

The caveat is that Pluto retrograde in Aquarius personifies the “immovable object meets the irresistible force” of Jupiter in Leo, calling for a mutual respect of positions without destroying the potential of lasting change and transformation of the heart. Thus, recognizing the Divine within each position with unconditional love has the power to shift stubborn hearts and attitudes when Pluto goes direct in October 2026 or miss the opportunity of a lifetime!

Pluto retrograde in Aquarius garners support from Neptune retrograde in Aries to dissolve unconscious victimization issues with courageous actions of complete transparency to own a higher vibration of consciousness, while Uranus in Gemini brings ideas, technology, and intuitive insights together to revolutionize communication. As Uranus is the planet of intuition, it may become easier to read the thoughts of others objectively, but can it be done without taking it personally?

As Carl Jung stated, everything that irritates us about others can lead to an understanding of ourselves. Suggesting that an evolutionary opportunity is at hand to own what is perceived about others as an internal direction and become personally responsible as a CEO of creating personal reality to honor the configuration with Jupiter in Leo from the heart.

As the work day begins on July 21st, the Moon slips into mysterious Scorpio to heal wounds of abandonment with Chiron in Taurus before a fixed grand cross occurs in the early evening, with an opportunity to emotionally transform issues of control, power, and mistrustful behaviors relative to values with clear communication of boundaries around creativity, romance, children, and friendships.

The energy of a fixed cross in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius can become a relentless, determined attitude of ‘my way or the highway’ if stubborn hearts collide with power struggles over freedom, financial resources, and or relationship values. The key is to take a step back and question how we are not relating, with brutal emotional honesty, for the highest good of all concerned, to seek acceptable common ground for resolution and forward movement.

On the afternoon of July 22nd, the Sun rises and shines in all of its glory as it enters heart-warming or grand-standing Leo. The highest vibration of Leo energy demonstrates unconditional love from the heart as a creative expression that can either melt the hearts of others or harden them with a glint of false gold. As Jupiter is also riding high in the constellation of Leo, the key to consider is that all that glitters is not gold and may tarnish quickly if it presents as egotistic attitudes under the scrutiny of genuine appreciation. 

Thus, the next 30 days are a mirrored reflection of what lies hidden in the heart for all to see. In the early afternoon of July 23rd, Mercury begins to move forward in emotionally sensitive Cancer, so all emotional messages and communication since June 12th will go through a review process until August 6th, when all the pieces come together as a coherent understanding of what was felt and communicated to clear up emotional misunderstandings.

Later in the evening, the Moon dives off the high board of emotion with heartfelt emotions to take a risk and open one’s heart, mind, and soul to unconditional love with no expectations, attachments, or agendas.
