Cosmic Insights – August 16, 2021 August 15, 2021

The celestial week of August 16, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in joyous, self-confident Leo, illuminating an opportunity to create a balance between the spiritual and physical aspects of life with a sense of equilibrium.  The significance of this decision is important in the light of individual desires to shine one’s creative light, in the midst of the expectations of others to fulfill their desires instead of your own; resulting in a potential power struggle.

However, Venus the queen of relating has just danced into its power zone of Libra, where it gracefully handles agendas with a charming smile and a negotiating attitude.  Thus the key to maintaining individual balance in relationships during the next three weeks is the willingness to compromise on lesser priorities with win/win solutions.  While you won’t get everything you desire, you will more than likely receive what you need if you play fairly.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through adventuresome Sagittarius with a huge emotional desire to take off for sights unknown before the air travel window becomes more restricted, as Jupiter and Saturn are retrograde in Aquarius; followed by Uranus in Taurus on August 19th.

That doesn’t mean that plans are deterred for the journey, it just turns up the volume for the Moon to persuade the Sun in Leo during this first quarter lunar phase to jump on the bandwagon and go for it!  Jupiter the king of Sagittarius is retrograde in Aquarius so there is nothing standing in the way, and if they leave quickly they will be gone before anyone can offer advice to stay!

Of course, there may be consequences on August 18, when the Moon wakes up in serious, authoritative Capricorn who is not impressed with unapproved trips!  Now that Venus is in Libra, the Moon in Capricorn also has to contend with challenges to career decisions from significant others, so it is not in the mood for flighty choices.  Fortunately, by the end of the workday, harmony is restored with a demonstration of hard work, information leading to congruent actions, and an attitude of gratitude!

However, later in the evening, the emotional energy shifts as the lunar phase becomes gibbous with an inherent emotional wobble.  Thus, the emotional climate may become moody with a distinct coolness as career concerns are raised with an unknowing about the future.  Fortunately, before the day ends Mercury and Mars unite in Virgo with the power to sway the concerns back to a state of equilibrium with rational logic and a plan of action.

This momentary respite will be appreciated more on the evening of August 19, when the Sun in Leo confronts Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius about the progress of creative projects, romantic interests in friends, and the educational affairs of children; resulting in a dramatic showdown that could escalate into a volatile situation.  

In the predawn hours of August 20, the emotional climate shifts significantly as it bumps into erratic Aquarius with a need for personal space to process feelings about relationships with significant others and friendships.  The daily ruler of Aquarius is Saturn who is currently retrograde in Aquarius and then Uranus who is also retrograde in Taurus, leaving the Moon to consort with Venus in Libra about relationships.  Luckily, the Moon in Aquarius and Venus in Libra work well together, so there is an opportunity to gain clarity about personal space and self-values in relationships. 

That clarity will be very important on August 22, when the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius, illuminating the quality of relationships through detached emotions which may precipitate an emotional drama trauma if either person feels that they are not appreciated, loved, or paid enough attention to!

Cosmic Insights – August 9, 2021 August 8, 2021

The celestial week of August 9, 2021, begins with the Sun rising up through the magnificence of Leo to claim its rightful throne in the sky, to illuminate an opportunity to be the creative chemist in your life mixing new ingredients for the desired reality!  As well, a new moon cycle in Leo began on August 8, so now is an excellent time to experiment with the process of creation with a positive intention for a glorious life of alchemy!

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving towards an opposition with Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius, so emotional fireworks may erupt before heading out the door for work, if a significant other does not offer the emotional attention that is needed.  At this point the Moon does go void of course, so emotions may be repressed as the Moon in Leo is dignified and refuses to acknowledge if their feelings are hurt.

A few hours later, the emotional energy silently subsides as the Moon enters the realms of methodical, quiet Virgo welcoming the respite of emotional distractions of the daily work routines to escape the drama-trauma of relationships.  However, Mercury the CEO of Virgo is moving through grandiose Leo, so there are still lingering elements of others seeking attention through communication in the work environment.  During the next couple of days, the emotional energy symbolized by the Moon in Virgo may be setting up a showdown of opposing opinions on August 10, when Mercury in Leo opposes Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius!  The clue to the potential confrontation on August 10, lies in the emotional confrontation which was illuminated before the workday began this morning!

Before the day ends, Venus in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces, which may begin to stir up a hornet’s nest with probing questions about the unconscious motivations of others, which is only mirroring internal values about relating to others.  Unfortunately, it only adds fuel to the fire that is brewing to a dramatic eruption on August 10!

Fortunately, for those who escaped the wrath of relating, the Moon glides into charming Libra on the afternoon of August 11, when it begins to mends the fences of relating through negotiations.  Venus is the queen of Libra and is finishing up loose ends in relationships through the guidance of sensible Virgo.  Another positive note is that Venus in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn are currently working together to reestablish harmony through the values of fairness and equality through the power of working together for the greater good of all.  Although, the Moon in Libra will definitely make its position known before it is all said and done.

Shortly after, Mars and Venus in Virgo offer a methodical mental approach to achieving rational solutions, instead of acting out to deliver a point.  The key is to utilize the next three weeks to organize, repair, and clear the mental clutter of subconscious thinking to establish clarity and bring order to mental chaos.

On the evening of August 13, the Moon slips into powerful Scorpio with an opportunity to reflect upon the emotional quality of life and a chance to transform it through releasing the emotional past.  The key is to process what was learned through difficult experiences without blaming oneself or others.  As a result, neuro network pathways can be freed of trauma and life changes can be made!  Mercury, Mars, and Venus are all in Virgo encouraging the process with healthy thoughts, values, and actions!

Cosmic Insights – August 2, 2021 August 2, 2021

The celestial week of August 2, 2021, begins with the Sun rising up through the glorious, brilliant, and scorching rays of Leo, illuminating an opportunity to display creative ability through artful communication, with the strength and confidence of the proud and regal lion.  The significance of this day cannot be understated as the Sun and Mercury have recently united in Leo, symbolizing the new beginning of the next Mercury retrograde cycle.  As such, the sky is lit up with creative ideas to transform recent situations that have passed through the long night, which has been tested with strength and faith!  The key is to pursue the ideas that ignite a passionate desire to manifest them in regards to hopes, wishes, and dreams!  While the manifestation may lead to fame and fortune, it will go beyond your initial intentions if the ideas and intentions are aligned through Spirit!

Meanwhile, the Moon is challenging the same scrutiny as it breezes quickly through Gemini with fleeting emotions and ideas, while it is multitasking.  The caveat is that multitasking may be a recipe for distractions, which causes unnecessary mistakes, delays, and potential drama trauma!  As the Sun in Leo opposed Saturn in Aquarius before dawn, erratic behaviors are under the watchful eye of authorities, so there may be a high price to pay for careless mistakes if they create issues or accidents.

On the evening of August 3, Mercury in Leo squares off with Uranus in Taurus, so a difference of opinion may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back if an arrogant, stubborn attitude collides with unpredictable resistance over financial spending values, and the daily work effort required to accommodate them.  

The lunar landscape shifts from chatting about emotions to feeling them internally as the Moon shifts into watery Cancer during the early evening of August 4.  Initially, still, waters run smoothly through the lens of communication, followed by an emotional attitude adjustment if the conversation triggers sensitive vulnerable issues around relationships.  As a result, confrontational energy about the power of financial resources and who holds it may initiate another round of attitude adjustments of emotional detachment.  Thus, an emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows is on the menu for the next couple of days!  

The tumultuous energy continues through August 6, when the Sun in Leo may be compelled to challenge the unpredictable behaviors of Uranus in Taurus, who is seeking freedom from controlling relationships!

In the wee hours of August 7, the Sun reaches the fifteenth degree of Leo symbolizing a shift in the current solar cycle, as it moves into the gibbous phase.  The gibbous solar phase is also known as midsummer or the ripening season of the first harvest.  As such, the seeds of intention planted at the Spring Equinox have begun to produce a preview of the progressing manifestation.  As the gibbous phase carries inherent wobble energy, the purpose of the intentions may be shifting as well.  This is the time of the manifestation cycle to discern if what you thought you desired, is what you really want.  If not, there is a forty-five-day window to make the necessary changes before the Fall Equinox in September.   

Shortly after, the Moon blazes into Leo, offering the last day to let go of emotional energy that is incongruent with the creative process, romantic relationships, or matters related to children, through the quality of the balsamic lunar phase in preparation for the new moon cycle in Leo on August 8, 2021!

Cosmic Insights – July 26, 2021 July 25, 2021

The celestial week of July 26, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in majestic Leo, illuminating an opportunity to be proud of oneself for accomplishing the purpose of life, as a means to shine their individual light.  The Sun in Leo expresses its energy more powerfully in Leo than any other constellation with a natural ability to stand tall in the environment as it commands attention just by its presence.    As a symbolic metaphor for each individual during the next twenty-six days, there is an opportunity to shine your light without any judgment, just because you are alive!  Now consider the power that you will experience within yourself if you do that?  You will light up your world from within, and attract the quality of light that you are shining!  Leo’s energy is also charismatic, generous, warm, entertaining, and loving when it gets up on the right side of the bed.  Yet when it gets up on the wrong side, it can be arrogant, demanding,  emotionally unavailable, and cold.  Thus, the key is to adjust your attitude regularly as needed, or you receive back what you give out, good, bad, or indifferent.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through the unconscious emotional depths of Pisces and may seek to rid itself of uncomfortable memories or feelings by subconsciously giving them to others through the lens of projection.  While that may work at times, The Moon in Pisces is opposing Venus in Virgo who is not currently accepting the unsolicited feelings of others, so if you are looking for a shoulder to cry on, you will likely experience a feeling of rejection.  Not that Venus in Virgo is intent on hurting anyone’s feelings, it is just busy right now taking care of physical and mental health, financial resources, and the daily demands of work activities.  So don’t take it personally, just own it and let it go with forgiveness, so you can be at peace.

Shortly before the day ends on July 27, Mercury moves boldly into Leo with all of the pomp and circumstance it is known for, as it makes a dramatic announcement about creativity, romance, and one’s life purpose, and whether it is satisfied or dissatisfied with the current status quo.  The key is to utilize the feedback received from others as a mirror of where you are currently, and where you want to be.  Then go for it!  Otherwise, the only one holding you back is you!  There may also be a strong temptation to seek attention from others during the next three weeks, so speak from the heart and you will light up your life and the lives of others.  The other choice is to demand attention from others through communication, resulting in a potential unnecessary drama-trauma!

A quick change of pace occurs on July 28, as the Moon races impulsively into Aries only to discover that Mars the CEO of Aries has reached the last degree of Leo, so it is not in a hurry to pony up with the desires of the Moon.  Instead, Mars has already decided to take the rest of the day off, so a lot of emotional feelings can be invested in pursuing desires and opportunities without any actions to follow through.  Not easily dissuaded, the Moon has no problem with moving forward on its own.  However, the Moon in Aries does have the opportunity to gain the support of the Sun and Mercury in Leo to assist in obtaining its emotional desires!

Shortly after, Jupiter retrogrades back into intuitive Aquarius to reconsider the hopes, wishes, and dreams that were pursued this year, and what needs to be changed for the manifestation of them before the year ends.  Paying attention to intuitive ideas for insights pertaining to those changes will be the information needed to yield big dividends when Jupiter goes direct on October 17, 2021.

On July 29, Mars in Leo opposes Jupiter in Aquarius over boundary violations regarding creative interests, romance, and children, that may result in potential confrontations which can clear the air to move forward either together or separately.

Later in the afternoon, Mars moves into methodical Virgo with an active desire to pursue opportunities with a clear mental focus to clean out frivolous expenditures that don’t make the most of time, effort, or resources.  It is also a great time to clear out physical clutter, make needed repairs, and begin a physical health routine.

On July 30, the Moon moves slowly into calm and gentle Taurus, offering an emotional respite from the turmoil of the past couple of days, at least for the rest of the evening.  So take advantage of some emotional downtime to enjoy a savory meal, glass of wine, fading sunset, or just a quiet evening at home for a much-needed interlude of peace before the emotional storm clouds gather on July 31!

The celestial week of July 19, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in nurturing Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to experience the awesome power of one’s emotional energy to create the desired reality of life, through a focused utilization of feelings to nurture a seed of intention with positive caring thoughts and actions.  

However, Cancer energy is also indicative of the home and family experiences of childhood, and whether you lived in a thriving environment or one of survival. Regardless,  to make the most of the current energy, it is important to nurture yourself with positive thoughts and feelings to build a foundation of caring and internal security for yourself, as emotional security lies within.

Fortunately, the Moon is continuing a journey back through childhood memories reflecting the need to learn from the emotional past, so that feelings of insecurity can be processed and released to experience a peaceful existence in life.

Shortly after the workday begins, challenges may come up with others as Mercury in Cancer and Chiron in Aries may challenge one another, or take information expressed through authorities personally, and react with a knee-jerk reflex regarding career directions or protocols.  

Later in the afternoon, the Moon ventures into optimistic Sagittarius as it flies over an ocean of unconscious emotions churning up turbulent waves of feelings about the need for emotional freedom.  Sagittarius energy is full of buoyant life and enthusiasm for the next adventure of life, so it may feel like cold water is being thrown on the freedom of new opportunities to take off for new horizons if travel plans are inhibited by public fears or concerns.  The key is to trust one’s gut feelings instead of buying into the projections of the media or the opinions of others, and go for it!

In the early evening hours of July 21, the Moon begins its monthly pilgrimage up the emotional mountain of Capricorn, with a business-like review of emotional feelings about personal desires and values.  The Moon’s initial planetary interaction is with Jupiter retrograde in Pisces, which bodes well through communication even though it may take longer than usual for plans to materialize.  

Shortly after, Venus heads into hard-working Virgo for a three-week review of financial goals and obligations.  Venus in Virgo is governed by Mercury who is currently residing in the comfort of home-loving Cancer, so financial investments and debts may be influenced by emotional feelings.  The good news is that the Moon in Capricorn and Venus in Virgo is up to the task at hand with down-to-earth, common-sense financial planning with logical reason grounded in practically and analysis.  So the next three weeks are a great time to get a financial check-up and your ducks in a row regarding financial security.

Just before the workday begins on July 22, Venus in Virgo opposes Jupiter in Pisces with a no-nonsense attitude adjustment about financial spending with significant others who may be oblivious to the current strategy about conserving financial resources instead of spending them without agreements.

Soon after, the Sun moves into charismatic Leo, who heard the conversation about reining in the spending but is tempted by the glitz and glamour of new shiny trinkets, so be prepared to be disarmed with charm or the fallout and drama trauma that is sure to follow!  The positive note of the Sun moving through Leo is that it shines the brightest on everything now, so step out of the shadow of the ego with a heartfelt connection of love and gratitude for the gift of life, and watch the Universe conspire with you to fulfill your dreams easily and effortlessly!  Leo embodies the gift of gold that we all have access to, yet it is up to each individual to qualify what gold means to them before they can find it at the end of the rainbow!  

On the evening of July 23, all emotional bets are off as the Moon bumps into erratic Aquarius, feeling the need for some personal emotional space away from anyone that needs their attention.   Shortly after, the full moon occurs as the Sun in Leo opposes the Moon in Aquarius, illuminating and reinforcing the emotional cooperation needed to establish the harmony of relating.  It might even be a great idea to spend the evening with friends instead of significant others for an emotional breath of fresh air!

Cosmic Insights – July 12, 2021 July 11, 2021

The celestial week of July 12, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in caring and ambitious Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to utilize the power of emotional feelings to take center stage in situations with emotional control and good timing.  The ruler of Cancer is currently positioned in commanding Leo reflecting the value of relating to others through genuine love as it unites with Venus and then Mars in Leo.  

Thus, there may be an influx of dramatic declarations of love sealed with an unexpected proposal of commitment.  The caveat is that while romance is in the air, it may also be somewhat blinding one to the responsibility of a long-term commitment, as unpredictable and freedom-loving Uranus is moving through earthly Taurus and is resistant to making sudden commitments.   Saturn, the daily ruler of Uranus is still retrograde in Aquarius and is also shying away from making commitments until early October.

However, Mercury has just waded into the emotional pond of Cancer, so feelings may outweigh logic now especially if family members or matters are weighing in.  The key is to remember that fools often rush in where angels fear to tread, so now is a good time to slow down and carefully consider the consequences before making rash decisions.  For those who dare to take the plunge, the expense of the wedding alone may serve as a step backward instead of forward, as Leo energy does everything in grand style!

In the early hours of July 13, the Moon moves into practical Virgo bringing the emotional drama trauma to a screeching halt with clear logical thinking and reason.  Now the emotional focus becomes centered on gathering information related to future plans for home and family.  The consensus is that the money spent on an extravagant wedding could be better used as a down payment on a house.  While that line of thinking is more practical, it will likely be met with disappointment, like an unexpected thunderstorm clouding a sunny beautiful summer day!

While it seems like everyone is on board with the new plans over breakfast, there are other hidden agendas as Venus and Mars have united in Leo and are agreeable until they have time to develop a new strategy to override the changes.  Another consideration to utilize the energy is to create a new enterprise related to the purpose of one’s life.
The lunar energy softens on July 15 when the Moon dances across the sky into relationship-oriented Libra.  However, while the Moon in Libra is charming it is also the iron hand in the velvet glove, so there is a tendency to be taken in without realizing that an agenda may be attached to that smile and dancing eyes! Venus the ruler of Libra is also moving through powerful Leo and is determined to get its way, so the charm may be meant to disarm objectives instead of an attraction factor!  Even though the Moon in Libra currently has the support of Venus and Mars in Leo and Saturn in Aquarius, it has its work cut out during the next couple of days with the rest of the planets dealing with attitude adjustments and emotional and authoritative challenges.

Shortly after, Chiron in Aries begins to retrograde back through Aries, so old wounds of abandonment, rejection, or shame may resurface to be resolved and healed.  While the first knee-jerk reaction may be internal anger or projection of issues onto others, the key is to take positive actions to reaffirm the power of loving oneself, and rejecting the possibility of self-abandonment.

On the afternoon of July 17, the Moon slips into the subconscious depths of Scorpio stirring up a cauldron of repressed and/or brooding feelings which have the power to destroy or transform the emotional quality of life.  The key is to allow the feelings to surface, process what needs to be learned from them, and then release them through forgiveness.  Later in the afternoon, the Sun in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn and will illuminate whether you are in the process of subconsciously destroying your life or transforming it to a higher vibration.

Cosmic Insights – July 5, 2021 July 5, 2021

The celestial week of July 5, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in emotionally instinctive Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to have the courage of a lion to trust that faith is a guiding light now and that one’s inner wisdom is in touch with a higher power. 

Sirius, a fixed star in the constellation of Canis Major sits at the same degree as the Sun today and is magnifying the brightness and power of the Sun.  In ancient Egypt, Sirius was revered as The Shining One as it was linked to the annual life-giving rising of the Nile river, assuring that the field of grains would produce an ample food supply for the inhabitants.  In that sense, Sirius was considered to be immortal and a spiritual star of truly immense power with the magic to harness hidden forces to create and recreate something new.  As the Sun and Sirius are both in Cancer, the key is to utilize the power of emotions as energy to nurture the purpose of life, as surely as water nurtures the earth to provide a life-giving reality.

Meanwhile, the Moon and the ruler of Cancer are moving through steady Taurus reflecting an opportunity to experience great talent, wealth, and rewards through solid values, and the awareness of the strength and stability in current surroundings with an attitude of gratitude.

While that may seem like wishing on a star, as Venus in Leo is currently engaged in what appears to be challenging and confrontational dynamics with Saturn retrograde in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus isn’t it really the perception of challenges and confrontations that is driving the dynamics?  Then perhaps, the key to unlocking the opportunity to experience a positive reality is to utilize the power of the lion to embrace the value of life with gratitude for the blessings that are already present in life, as well as the faith that those blessings are never-ending. 

Another important consideration now is that the ongoing Saturn retrograde movement through Aquarius, presupposing a challenge with Uranus in Taurus is really an opportunity to take a responsible action to learn from the past and then apply those teachings to the future.  The key is to pay attention to the intuitive perceptions as a barometer for future actions leading to a sense of at-one-ment with all life; leading to understanding the direction and guidance needed for the future.

Later in the evening, the Moon breezes into mental Gemini with an emotional message that it’s time to move forward on plans, short trips, and projects that have been on hold for the last several weeks.  The caveat is that Mercury the daily ruler of Gemini has not quite cleared the last hurdle of the retrograde cycle or its challenges with Neptune in Pisces. A current personal experience with purchasing a used car has demonstrated that quite clearly as hidden information was revealed by Neptune retrograde in Pisces that the arrangement was actually a scam!  Thus, waiting until Mercury begins to move past the challenge with Neptune on July 6, before signing on the dotted line would be advisable.  Then on July 7, Mercury clears the shadow of its cycle with a go-ahead!

On the morning of July 8, the Moon wades into the emotional pond of sensitive Cancer stirring up feelings about childhood memories that continue to float up through the day from dreams experienced during the pre-dawn hours.  Huge chunks of insightful feelings come forward as the emotional pieces of the past fall into place, opening a door of healing through understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness. 

Later in the afternoon, Venus in Leo and Uranus in Taurus go head to head with differences about relationships and resources.  While Venus in Leo is very charming and adept at getting agendas met, Uranus in Taurus is not easily swayed by a charming demeanor if there is no solid evidence of the value involved in the exchange.  That is not to say, that it doesn’t appreciate the effort exerted during the challenge, it just isn’t going to relinquish resources for the privilege.

On July 9, a new moon cycle occurs in Cancer shortly after sunset, offering an opportunity to renew a sacred commitment to the emotional quality of one’s life regarding internal security and the comfort of home and family.  Cancer energy is adept at nurturing with a demonstration of nourishment and caring, by sharing the preparation of home-cooked meals with others while investing quality time in listening to their concerns, goals, and aspirations.  So, now is a great time to cement those bonds with family reunions, leisurely meals around the grill, or just an old-fashioned but still in style, Sunday dinner!

Cosmic Insights – June 28, 2021 June 27, 2021

The celestial week of June 28, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in caring, protective Cancer illuminating an opportunity to allow creativity to flow without worrying or concern about its usefulness. (1)  Cancer energy is the homebody of the zodiac, so now is a great time to unleash the creative process on the home environment in the form of art, comfort, landscaping, and/or feng shui practices.  The ruler of Cancer is the Moon and is currently traveling through unpredictable, eclectic Aquarius, which is urging the Sun in Cancer to throw caution to the winds of change.

Later in the afternoon, the Moon floats into nebulous Pisces with an inclination to drift off into romantic fantasies about unrequited love and the one who got away.  Pisces energy is also characterized as dreamy, imaginative, artistic, and inspirational so it is a big opportunity to set aside worrisome concerns and visualize the reality desired as Pisces is also symbolic of the unconscious which doesn’t recognize the difference between what is real or not.

During the next couple of days, the Moon in Pisces also offers a brief respite to engage in artistic endeavors, meditation, and hypnotic experiences to drift off into imaginative adventures until the end of the day on June 29.  At that time, the emotional peace may be a shattering reentry back to conscious reality through casual communication, which confirms what has been suspected, without evidence to validate the feelings.  Then upon waking on June 30, the Moon and Neptune unite in Pisces, so coming out of the dream state may provide pieces of information that will help to make sense of the recent Mercury retrograde cycle.  However, keep in mind that Mercury has still not cleared the shadow or completed its interaction with Neptune, so there may still be a lack of clarity regarding what is yet to been revealed. 

Later that night, the Moon races into fiery Aries with an opportunity to express feelings without hesitation about creativity, romance, and children.  Currently, the Moon in Aires is in a disseminating phase with the Sun in Cancer, so sharing insights illuminated during the recent full moon is useful to determine the necessary actions to full the intentions of the new moon/solar eclipse in Gemini, when the third quarter lunar phase occurs on July 1.  The key then is to take responsible actions instead of hasty ones without consideration of the consequences.

The results of considering rash emotional actions may begin to bear fruit on the morning of July 1, as Mars the planetary CEO of Aries is confronted by Saturn retrograde in Aquarius about the potentially serious repercussions involved, which could impact career ambitions and family matters on July 3, when Mars in Leo challenges Uranus in Taurus.

On the morning of July 3, fortunately, the Moon moves slowly into steady Taurus with a much-needed calming effect on emotional feelings that have been stirring up challenges and confrontations.  While the Moon in Taurus can help to settle down recent emotional upheavals, it is reluctant to join in the ongoing issues of others or take sides.  However, Venus the queenly ruler of Taurus is moving through charming Leo and is determined to utilize those calm feelings of Taurus to gain an advantage in mediating control issues with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus.  Thus, challenging and opposing viewpoints may continue throughout the next couple of days. 

However, later in the evening, Mars in Leo joins the mediation with a kingly power that asserts its desires with a commanding position, which leaves no doubt standing its ground with Uranus in Taurus.  As the Moon in Leo, Mars and Venus in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus are all determined, stubborn, and inflexible, someone has to have the courage to take the first step to breakthrough the resistant stalemate from the heart of the Lion, instead of the ego.  Thus, Mars and Venus in Leo have the power to break down the walls of resistance with a loving and generous attitude that takes all perspectives into the consideration of fairness and equality, instead of winning at all costs.

On July 4, the Sun in Cancer interacts with Chiron in Aries in a challenging manner as Chiron in Aries is determined to fight battles with others instead of healing internal issues of self-imposed anger.  The key is to refuse to be provoked by the temper tantrums of others and allow them to find their good elsewhere.  Isn’t that what freedom is for?

Cosmic Insights – June 21, 2021 June 20, 2021

The celestial week of June 21, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in emotionally sensitive Cancer on the heels of the Summer Solstice, illuminating an opportunity to nurture the seeds of intention planted as the recent Spring Equinox.

During the next forty-five days, the relationship between the Sun and Moon is highlighted as the Moon is the CEO of Cancer and claims her rightful position during the next thirty days to support those intentions with caring and nurturing feelings. The solar event of the Solstice also proclaims the first quarter phase of the solar year and is indicative of taking an active leap of faith to pursue those intentions without knowing the outcome.
Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through powerful Scorpio to transform negative emotions and limiting decisions by releasing them through a creative process. Mars is an action-oriented planet and is the daily CEO of Scorpio and is currently blazing a trail through fiery Leo with a courageous attitude to move forward with no regrets.

Thus, the Sun, Moon, and Mars are currently supporting one another to utilize their respective energies in a tri-union of power, opening a door during this solar cycle to “man up” so to speak, and pursue individual creative desires with a feverish passion to express your unique individuality in an undeniable manner which speaks for itself with miraculous results!

While that may feel like a tall order, the planetary energy of the Summer Solstice reveals a grand cross in the sky as Mars in Leo, Saturn in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus, and the Moon in Scorpio are either challenging or opposing one another’s position. The essence of a grand cross is suggestive of having to make decisions and take actions that create issues with other aspects of life.

Since the Moon is the planet of feelings and feelings drive behaviors, it is imperative to take responsibility for the emotional power of Scorpio to either move mountains or be an agent of destruction. Once emotions are appropriately addressed, then the actions of Mars in Leo can be taken from a loving heart instead of a heartless and threatened ego. At this point, Saturn retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus may become resistant to the actions that Mars is taking, so Venus in Cancer is called in to work her magic and mediate their differences so everyone can work together in a spirit of cooperation to achieve the desired results. Think of it as a cosmic drama being played out on the stage of life for the greater good, if emotions, actions, values, and intuitive insights are aligned on a personal level, which contributes to a greater quality of life for all.

The caveat is Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio can get stuck in a stubborn mindset when they refuse to work together. So the key is to open your heart, transform your emotions, take courageous actions, be open to unpredictable changes, and think out of the box to make the most of this energy during the next forty-five days.
Last but not least, Jupiter the planetary agent of opportunities and goodwill is stationary retrograde in Pisces, so big projects and long-distance travel may be on hold until mid-October. The other side of the coin is that Pisces is the realm of the collective unconscious, so dreams, meditation, visualization techniques, trips to the beach, and artistic endeavors can yield amazing results until the end of July.

On the morning of June 22, the Moon jumps into expansive ‘the world had no limits’ Sagittarius, with a desire to venture into unknown territory for a new emotional adventure! However, before the trip begins there is unfinished business to attend to on the home front as family concerns behind the scenes, require emotional reassurance that you are ready to strike out on your own for new horizons!

Of course, you are ready but others may not be, so take the time to address those concerns and then run for the border of freedom!

Later in the afternoon, Mercury goes direct in Gemini, so do a happy dance out the door with a wave and a smile before someone changes your mind! Now that Mercury is moving forward again, the lines of communication get plugged back in with the missing pieces of information needed to proceed. However, a word to the wise is that there may still be elements of miscommunication and/or confusion until Mercury leaves the shadow on July 7!

On the morning of June 24, the Moon stands at the top of an emotional mountain in ambitious Capricorn, as it surveys what has been accomplished and what remains to be done. Even though Saturn the CEO of Capricorn is still taking a backseat in Aquarius, the Moon picks up the reins of authoritative power to complete projects until Saturn steps back up to the plate in the fall. Fortunately, the Moon has the board room stacked with the Sun in Cancer, Jupiter in Pisces, Uranus in Taurus, and Pluto in Capricorn as allies to approve career plans and agendas.

Cosmic Insights – June 14, 2021 June 13, 2021

The celestial week of June 14, 2021, begins with the Sun rising in curious, mental Gemini illuminating a message that difficult situations can be gotten around with creative and seemingly childlike solutions to problems. (1)  Gemini is the magician of the zodiac and its wand is the mind so pay attention to the messages that are being received from Mercury in Gemini, as enormous potential can be tapped through collective knowledge and wisdom.  Mercury has currently retrograded back to nineteen degrees of Gemini, so the information needed now was being revealed in events on May 17, yet may have been obscured by Neptune in Pisces.

Now that the Sun has moved past the degree of the ongoing Mercury/Neptune challenging dynamic, there is an illumination of information required to take a leap of faith about the actions needed to move forward.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through Leo with a strong sense of self-confidence and optimism to address financial circumstances in relation to self-values.  The ability to maintain that show of strength will be significant during the next few months as the moon interacts with Saturn retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus on the evening of June 14, as an active participant in the ongoing challenging dynamic to take responsible actions regarding circumstances that continue to be unpredictable in nature.  The caveat is that both Saturn and Uranus appear to be at odds with reasonable actions or solutions, so the way through this challenge is through the midpoints of both planets, where is where the Moon is positioned at the time of this challenge.  With this awareness, the outlet for responsible actions lies in transformational Scorpio.  Mars is the daily ruler of Scorpio and is currently traveling through Leo, so the key is to refrain from engaging in the emotional theatrics that Leo thrives in and take actions with the vision of the eagle and the heart of the lion facing down threats with courage in all of its glory!

In the late evening of June 15, the Moon moves into logical Virgo with a working solution in mind which comes from all of the information that has been assimilated during the Mercury retrograde with the power to transform circumstances that have gone off the rails recently and get the train back on the track.  The initial contact that the Moon in Virgo has is with Jupiter in Pisces, so there is an illumination pertaining to the potential financial opportunity to reduce debt and increase resources. 

In the early hours of June 18, the Moon dances into charming Libra with an incentive to connect with romantic partners over the weekend, or indulge in creative pursuits.  There is an initial yod taking place between The Moon in Libra, Mars in Leo, and Jupiter in Pisces, so there may be a feeling of destiny in the air that comes through communicating deep emotions to the object of one’s desires.  The caveat is that there is still an element of illusion surrounding communication, so attitude adjustments may be on the menu if both parties aren’t on the same page.
