The celestial week of August 17, 2026, begins in the early hours before sunrise as sleep states may become rudely awakened, and emotional cravings for loving support challenge independent desires for personal freedom, as Mars in Cancer and Neptune retrograde in Aries create an emotional pressure cooker environment of conflicting feelings.

Later, the Sun rises in courageous Leo, illuminating an opportunity to complete an arduous journey through the heart center to reach the other side of one’s creative purpose in life. Mercury, the planetary messenger, is also in Leo, with an opportunity to experience demonstrations of joy through communication behind the scenes, while Jupiter in Leo amplifies the volume of the message to indulge in carefree childlike play of innocence and fun.

Meanwhile, the Moon is dancing gracefully through Libra to engage in a crescent lunar phase with the Sun in Leo to gather information relative to interactions with others through communication about the ability to see things in their own time, revealing emotional values that could change the experience of one’s life.

The fixed star Spica is aligned with the Moon as a sparkling gem of success, brilliance, and talent out of the ordinary, which can be emotionally nurtured through communication. The Moon is aligned favorably with the Sun to support the purposes and desires until it goes void of course until the early evening.  Venus is the governing planet of Libra and is currently gliding through relationships through the lens of perceptions regarding values of fairness, equality, and harmony to balance the scales of relating.

Later in the afternoon, the Moon goes into Scorpio, the underground cave of powerful feelings, as its first planetary encounter is with Chiron in Taurus, exposing wounds related to values and self-abandonment in relationships. A few hours later, it challenges the icy detached attitudes of Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, followed by emotionally scrutinizing the dissolving boundaries of Neptune retrograde in Aries. Thus, the evening hours are filled with intense emotions surfacing to be healed through emotional nurturing as emotional exhaustion sets in before the day ends. However, sleep may not bring the emotional relief needed until after midnight, as Mars in Cancer aligns with the Moon in Scorpio to soothe the savage beast of emotional uncertainty.

On the afternoon of the 18th, the intensity of the Moon in Scorpio squares off Jupiter in Leo, with the exuberance of big opportunities looming on the horizon as it investigates the dynamics of the opportunities behind the scenes.

Challenges continue on August 19th as the Moon in Scorpio continues to interrupt patterns of sleep with gut feelings about whether financial investments are on the horizon, or being promoted as such without evidence. Before the day ends, the Moon in Scorpio faces off with the Sun in Leo to take actions based on intense feelings without knowing the outcome or having any attachment to how it unfolds. 

In the early hours of August 20th, the Moon takes a much-needed hiatus from the emotional intensity of the past few days as it jumps into optimistic Sagittarius, and with five planets out of ten in fire signs, the next couple of days are a cosmic gift to take some time off and enjoy it. 

Before the workday starts on August 21st, Venus in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries, regarding push-pull energy in relationship dynamics developing between relationship agendas and structures of independence.

The celestial week of October 27, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in tenacious, powerful Scorpio, illuminating an opportunity to persist in the process of transforming desires that can lead to achieving difficult outcomes. Mars, the daily supervisor of Scorpio, is assisting the process with penetrating insights about the actions necessary to move forward. Mars is supported by Jupiter and Cancer to believe in your power and act on it. While Neptune and Saturn, retrograde in Pisces, also support the actions of Mars by celebrating what you have to actualize the manifestation of concrete ideals.

Whereas Pluto, the transcendental ruler of Scorpio, is positioned in innovative Aquarius with intuitive insights relative to the awareness that freedom is never the result of compromise.  The Sun in Scorpio is also involved in a yod configuration with Uranus retrograde in Gemini, and the Moon in Capricorn, with a message to manage emotional misperceptions with the knowing that one has found their true vocation.

A yod configuration is when three planets are in a geometrical pattern suggestive of fate, and/or the finger of God. Thus, Uranus retrograde in Gemini is handing out attitude adjustments to the Sun in Scorpio and the Moon in Capricorn to continue to work together to follow the path they are currently on, regardless of the opinions of others.

Meanwhile, the Moon is climbing the mountain of success in Capricorn by feeding one’s higher nature with good emotional nourishment through communication.  Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn, is retrograde in Pisces, so it may feel that goals are stuck in a holding pattern about maintaining the vision of a creative project. The key is to hold on with a steady course of faith and no attachment to how the vision is manifested.

Shortly before the day ends on October 28, the Moon ventures into emotionally detached Aquarius with a need for personal space and relationships to spend quality time with friends and like-minded others. The Moon’s first planetary encounters are with Uranus retrograde in Gemini, who is up for mischievous fun and games, while Pluto in Aquarius is invited to transform the good times with abstract, innovative ideas.

While Saturn, the daily CEO of Aquarius, is retrograde in Pisces, leaving no one to take responsibility for manifesting opportunities into reality. At least the light-hearted antics of the Moon, Pluto, and Uranus help to shift the heavy energy of the Sun, Mars, and Mercury in Scorpio.  In the early hours of October 29th, Mercury leaves mysterious Scorpio to explore new adventures in Sagittarius. However, Mercury is in the pre-shadow of the retrograde cycle with a preview of potential chaos unfolding until December 17, regarding financial resources, families, and unpredictable emotional reactions related to food and nourishment. 

Just before lunch on October 29, emotional tensions over finances may create challenges with authorities as the Moon in Aquarius squares off with the Sun in Scorpio.  Neither is prepared to give an inch, so conflicts may arise without warning. A few hours later, Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Uranus retrograde in Gemini with a message that emotional detachment can provide illuminating solutions through communication to balance opposing perspectives through negotiation and mediation.

Just before the sun rises on October 31, the Moon drifts into ethereal Pisces with an opportunity to experience emotional healing on a soul level. The characterization of Pisces is spiritual and artistic, and as October 31, is suggestive that the veil between the Earth and the Spirit world is thinner; communication may come through dreams, or a sense of those who have made an earthly transition may be felt. Although emotional exhaustion may contribute to communication challenges throughout the early morning.
