Cosmic Insights – September 7, 2026 September 6, 2026

The celestial week of September 7, 2026 begins with the Sun rising in discerning Virgo, highlighting an opportunity to stay true to your emotions and self-worth without dissecting them to fix what isn’t broken. However, the Sun in Virgo is also experiencing an opportunity to adjust an attitude about emotionally committing to a relationship with action, or risk losing it altogether, which seems impossible now, yet there in lies a solution.

Mercury, the planetary messenger and CEO of Virgo, is also moving through Virgo, gathering information through signs and symbols to carry a task through to completion and recognize what has been accomplished. Mercury in Virgo is also working diligently with the Moon in Cancer to overcome emotional vulnerabilities about relationships by trusting what is felt instead of what it thinks it feels.

Meanwhile, the Moon moves through sensitive Cancer with an emotional urge to take responsibility and see the value of relationships as a mirror of self-values projected onto others, rather than avoiding taking personal emotional responsibility for oneself.

Just before lunch, the Moon moves into glorious Leo, shining its emotional light on career goals and achievements through communication with authorities who may be on the fence about committing financial resources to creative projects.

Minutes later, the Moon in Leo goes balsamic to the Sun in Virgo, opening a three-day window to release emotional pride with forgiveness of self and others over misunderstandings experienced since the solar eclipse on August 12, 2026, which presupposed a lack of caring from the actions of others, and wasn’t personal.

On the afternoon of September 9, the Moon moves into emotionally nervous Virgo to get a mental grip on making powerful decisions about expansive opportunities and emotional transformation that can provide solutions to emotionally turbulent feelings without losing the opportunities. The key lies in understanding that it doesn’t have to be one or the other, as Venus in Libra seeks harmony and balance.

September 10th is a big day of changes that begin in the early hours, as sleep may be disturbed slightly by a dream, or awakened as an intense feeling occurs when Venus, the queen of relating, slips into mysterious Scorpio until January 7, 2027.

Venus usually completes a visit in a constellation for approximately three weeks, but due to its upcoming retrograde cycle on October 3, 2026, it will go back and forth between Libra and Scorpio for 12 weeks.

Venus in Scorpio has the nature of a detective and should probably come with the warning sign, danger beware; a transformation of values regarding relationships, personal power, control, resources, and others is due for an 18-month overhaul and subsequent transformation.

However, the secret of this cycle is that a transformation of values is not about relationships with others; it is the one you have with yourself projected onto others. Thus, if you are up for the challenge of investigating the shadow within, this one can change the values of your life, for a greater quality of life!

Another significant indicator of Venus in Scorpio is the potential of a financial cycle beginning similar to the Great Recession of 2008, which set up at the solar eclipse in Leo (ruling gold) of 2008, and became activated at the Libra new moon of 2008. Therefore, now is the time to be prudent with financial resources and investments to determine which way the wind is blowing this fall.

Then, just before lunch, Mercury heads into diplomatic Libra to address the potential fallout from the impending crumbling structure of values that attempt to withstand the volcanic eruptions of emotional reactions and may potentially collapse under the weight of emotional vulnerability.

Before lunch is over, Uranus, the planet of evolution and/or chaos, goes retrograde until February 27, 2027, to review and reevaluate ideas, technology, and communication regarding the hopes, wishes, and dreams of the future.

Uranus is the receiver of intuitive insights and receives them through thoughts that have the power to resolve relationship issues if the insights are acknowledged as epiphanies.

Before the day ends, the crowning cosmic event occurs as a new moon in grounded Virgo takes place that may keep eyes open as restless thoughts compete with feelings about romantic relationships and creative projects.

The quality of Virgo has a tendency to see the cup as half empty instead of half full, so it can be of service to fix what isn’t broken. Thus, during this cycle of incoming energy, there is also an opportunity to focus on what works instead of what doesn’t; to keep from damaging something fragile and beautiful by breaking it unnecessarily through mental negation or criticism. Seeds of intention that are planted now will be the resulting harvest of beauty next September or a patch of weeds depending on the quality of the thoughts seeded.

During the sunset of September 11th, the Moon glides into harmonious Libra to join Mercury to communicate feelings with clarity that transforms the nature of emotionally intimate relationships with transparent honesty and truth without agendas. Depending on the cooperation involved, harmony and balance can be experienced regarding the future of hopes, wishes, and dreams.

The celestial week of September 15, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in humble Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to step back from a critical review of oneself under a microscope of perfection, with the courage and faith in your ability to carry a task to completion without doubt or worry.

Mercury is the CEO of Virgo and is adept at filtering out extraneous details with diligent research.  However, the key to using the research is knowing when to stop counting the trees in the forest and step back to consider the big picture of sustaining it for an intended outcome.

Currently, the Sun and Mercury are united in Virgo, with the same ideas to reap the harvest of intentions planted at the recent Spring Equinox in March, and utilize information to plan and formulate a strategy for the next Spring Equinox in 2026!

Meanwhile, the Moon is trudging through emotionally sensitive Cancer, seeking to nurture career concerns to escape the harsh realities of current relationship challenges.  While the Moon in Cancer has an innate ability to sense the emotional energy of the environment or others, its empathic tendency may experience some difficulty in discerning whether what it feels is personal or not.  It is similar to a drop of water not knowing the difference between itself and the body of water in the ocean.

Thus, the key to mastering emotional clarity lies in the ability to quickly discern if an emotional reaction appears suddenly without a reason or source.  If it feels confusing or overwhelming, take a step back and ask where this is coming from to bring clarity without accepting it as personal to avoid unnecessary relationship struggles.

On the midmorning of September 16, Mars in politically correct Libra opposes Chiron the wounded healer in impulsive Aries, illuminating an opportunity to seek a balance between feeling passive-aggressive anger in relationships that trigger wounds of abandonment, by releasing the anger at others and forgiving oneself for self-abandonment to appease others.  Fortunately, Jupiter in Cancer is the mediator between Mars in Libra and Chiron in Aries, and proposes appropriate solutions to heal emotional wounds based on the origin of family dynamics.

Shortly after midnight on September 17, the Moon strides into charismatic Leo with the emotional motivation to pursue desires with the confidence of winning expectations!  The Moon’s first planetary encounter is with Neptune retrograde in Aries, and it is more than happy to accommodate the Moon’s desires as it is mesmerized by its bold swagger!  Uranus retrograde in Gemini is also supportive of the Moon, while Pluto retrograde in Aquarius refuses to be swayed or impressed by its bold emotional behaviors!

Shortly after lunch, Mercury in Virgo opposes Saturn retrograde in Pisces, illuminating a potential confrontation about Mercury’s projection that Saturn is dragging its heels to make a viable commitment to the plans of realizing career goals promptly.  However, Saturn’s position is that the time isn’t right just now, while it has complete faith in the intended successful outcome.

In the early hours of September 18, Mercury glides into diplomatic Libra on a wing and a prayer, as the tail end of a kite formation with Uranus retrograde in Gemini, Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, and Neptune retrograde in Aries!  Mercury’s current position in the planetary arena offers an opportunity to get that kite of ideas, plans, and projects off the ground, as Venus in Leo stands behind the scenes operating the strings of attraction!

The key is to utilize the charming demeanor and communication skills of Mercury in Libra to convey those ideas with a creative, convincing passion that assures promotional opportunities in the future when Pluto and Uranus move forward!

The caveat lies in getting Neptune retrograde in Aries on board to take action to ensure their visionary success.  However, as the work day is ending, Neptune is still on the fence about investing financial resources for the time being.  While Mercury in Libra is proficient at mediating a stalemate, it also knows when to bide its time for a more favorable outcome.
