The celestial week of May 8, 2023, begins with the Sun rising in realistic and values-conscious Taurus illuminating an opportunity to bring air and light to current situations that have become stagnant so that changes for the better can be pursued and experienced.

Venus, the queen of Taurus has just moved into emotionally sensitive Cancer and supports the changes as an emotional turning point relative to home and family. Whereas, the ruler of Cancer is the Moon that is currently traveling through expansive Sagittarius with an emotional intention to transform current situations into new possibilities with a better way of life.

Meanwhile, Jupiter the CEO of Sagittarius is finishing up a visit in Aries with a huge opportunity to experience at-one-ment with all life with a harmonious desire to actualize opportunities of freedom during the next twelve years!

However, Mars the warrior in charge of Aries is moving through Cancer and may be feeling frustrated and emotionally overwhelmed by changes regarding home and family. The key is to step back from taking care of others and focus on taking care of oneself one step at a time. The results are win/win as lessons are taught and learned about the value of self-reliance and emotional boundaries.

Later in the evening, the emotional energy takes a serious tone about long-term plans as the Moon settles down into earthy responsible Capricorn. While the Moon in Capricorn is more comfortable with handling emotions with a no-nonsense demeanor, it also has to contend with balancing vulnerable feelings in relationships as it is opposed by Venus in Cancer.

However, Saturn the CEO of Capricorn is currently submerged in oceanic Pisces and is able to soothe the swirling emotional currents of Venus in Cancer for the short term so that a firm foundation can be built for the future.

Fortunately, Mercury, Uranus, and the Sun are currently residing in stable Taurus to assist the Moon in Capricorn and Saturn in Pisces to realize their ambitions of achieving emotional and financial security over the next thirty years!

On the afternoon of May 9, the Sun and Uranus unite in Taurus at nineteen degrees symbolizing an enormous potentiality emerging from deep within personal emotional and spiritual development.

Venus, the CEO of Taurus is moving through sensitive Cancer in unfamiliar surroundings and may begin to examine the meaning of life through emotional values.

Yet, the power of Venus in Cancer and the Moon in Capricorn also presents a valuable opportunity to nurture the roots of new beginnings with gratitude for the potential long-term benefits of emotional and financial security, even though the new beginnings may feel uncomfortable at first.

The lunar landscape shifts abruptly in the evening hours of May 10 as the Moon moves abruptly into unpredictable Aquarius before it unites with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Once the union occurs, a powerful transformation is available as emotional insights flash across the waves of consciousness with illuminating clarity about what the future holds.

The caveat is the ability to accept the insights as personal guidance without a doubt, which may be shaken during the next couple of days as the Moon in Aquarius encounters challenges and attitude adjustments with the Sun, Mercury, and Uranus in Taurus, as well as Venus and Mars in Cancer. The key is to be patient as the insights play out in time, even though it seems like nothing is happening as evidence of their validity.

Just before the day ends on May 12, the Moon floats into the deep unconscious realms of Pisces with a peaceful interlude to enjoy the simple pleasures of life with love and gratitude for the opportunity to do so.

As the Moon, Venus, and Mars are the primary cosmic energies of emotional changes this week, the Sun in Taurus will maintain the much-needed stability to move through the changes with a greater degree of calm and ease.
