The celestial week of August 31st, 2026, begins with the Sun rising in clever Virgo, illuminating an opportunity to project creativity into the future while unknowingly revealing secret motives about personal desires. Mercury, the planetary messenger of Virgo, is also positioned in Virgo with an opportunity to consciously communicate those desires with clarity as a strategy to get a kite of dreams off the ground about significant relationships of a soul quality by having the courage to actively communicate emotional feelings that have the power to transform them.

Meanwhile, the Moon is moving through impulsive areas with an emotional and powerful desire to step out of the shadows of fear-based rejection and take a risk or lose the opportunity until later in the year. Uranus in Gemini and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius offer favorable opportunities to integrate brilliant ideas with the power of technology, providing the energy of wind to get the kite off the ground with exact precision.

Fortunately, Jupiter in Leo offers rays of sunshine behind the clouds of unconscious emotional insecurities as it interacts favorably with Saturn retrograde in Aries about financial investments. The key is to use the Sun and Mercury in Virgo to determine the validity of the investors.

By mid-morning, a significant shift relative to personal desires, resources, and relationships arrives as Venus in Libra graces the horizon at 23 degrees as it goes into the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle with the anticipation of new opportunities for collaborations and/or joint projects. The caveat is that the shadow phase may also be setting up emotional confrontations on September 15th, triggered by the vulnerable feelings of Mars in Cancer. Thus, the key to avoiding passive-aggressive confrontations then is to take responsibility for personal projections and perceptions about others as a mirror of one’s unconscious emotional vulnerabilities. As Carl Jung stated, “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”

In the early hours of September 1st, 2026, the Moon illuminates the darkness of the sky with the residual energy of the lunar eclipse of August 27th as it unites with Chiron, the wounded healer in Taurus, as an emotional reflection of self-values relative to childhood and self-worth about receiving love unconditionally from oneself.

Later in the morning, challenges may present themselves in significant relationships or friendships to test if there are any unconscious emotions that trigger frustration toward others, instead of taking responsible actions to address them. Before the sun rises, Mars in Cancer may also test emotional stability as hopes, wishes, and dreams collide with Saturn retrograde in Aries about financial investments without responsible actions.

In the early hours of September 5th, the Moon flies into fun-loving Gemini with an emotional message to lighten up with the humor (of childish enjoyment. However, Gemini is ruled by Mercury currently transiting through meticulous Virgo, sorting through downloads of tedious information which may put a damper on the light-hearted practical jokes of the Moon in Gemini. The Moon in Gemini is also reflecting the emotional energy of the recent lunar eclipse in Virgo-Pisces when it slams into Uranus in Gemini ten hours later with challenging realizations and a potential experience of emotional chaos.
