The celestial week of August 18, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in commanding Leo, illuminating an opportunity to experience relief from stressful situations with purposeful and creative desires.
Mercury, in Leo, is standing behind the Sun in Leo, and is the focal point in a kite configuration between Saturn/Neptune retrograde in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, Mars in Libra, and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Whereas another kite configuration has Mars as the focal point between the same planets. Thus, the simpatico relationship between Mercury in Leo and Mars in Libra provides an opportunity to lift both kites of energy relative to responsible commitments, and visionary, intuitive ideas off the ground with revolutionary ideas and bold actions of courage that appear to leave comfort and security behind for principles of freedom and equality.
There is also a five-point star configuration depicted by Saturn/Neptune retrograde in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, Mercury in Leo, Mars in Libra, and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Esoterically, the five-point star is indicative of humanity’s place on earth and the cosmos as drawn by Leonardo deVinci as the Vitruvian Man. Between the flowing and harmonious energy of the kites and the star pointing to Uranus, the planet of evolution, there are ample opportunities to experience heaven on earth through intuitive ideas, evolutionary transformation, win/win actions, and a commitment to visionary ideals.
Meanwhile, the Moon is breezing through Gemini to support the creative purpose of the Sun with communication that stirs desires into expression. Afterwards, the Moon becomes void of course until later in the afternoon, leaving other planetary interactions to flow without emotional interference or support.
Later, the Moon wades into the sensitive emotional pond of Cancer with a brief interlude of solitude before challenging interactions occur with Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries over being responsible for individual needs and desires, instead of expecting others to do it for them.
A few hours later, attitude adjustments are on the menu of relating with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius to curtail rebellious behaviors for attention. Afterwards, the Moon has a brief emotional respite until the early hours of August 19, as unsettled feelings from the previous interactions may interrupt sleep, with potential resolutions presented in dreams.
The emotional landscape shifts dramatically on the evening of August 20, as the Moon blazes into charismatic Leo with an opportunity to release past experiences around family, childhood, and romantic relationships with a heart full of love and forgiveness during the balsamic lunar phase before the new moon cycle in Virgo on August 23. Other than a confrontation with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, illuminating a potential power struggle to hold onto past grievances, all of the other planets on stage are supportive of the Moon in Leo’s ability to demonstrate love and grace under pressure.

The celestial week of August 11, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in the crimson rays of leadership Leo, illuminating an opportunity to plan for shifts in time and seasonal variations. It is during this time of year that the first harvest of intentions planted at the Spring Equinox is arriving, with an indication if the upcoming second harvest at the Full Equinox will be barely enough to sustain one over the fall and winter season, or more than enough to share at Thanksgiving.
However, regardless of the results, there is still time to modify the intention to increase the yield before the Fall Equinox. Fortunately, Mercury, the planetary messenger, is station direct as the Sun rises, to evaluate the results, which may require jumping over a deep chasm with faith to achieve desired outcomes.
The caveat is that the Moon is void of course in Pisces until it moves into Aries on August 12. Thus, choices made now may be an indication that nothing will come of it. The Moon goes void of course approximately every two days, which can last a few minutes or several hours, depending on the interactions it has with other planets. It is during this time that decisions made may be changed, without explanation, when the Moon enters the next constellation. It is an excellent time for contemplation, reflection, and meditation, with a lackadaisical feeling. Therefore, today is a great day to consider the results and formulate a plan to put into action on August 12.
Now that Mercury is direct, creative projects and plans that have been simmering on the back burner for the past few weeks are positioned for forward movement on the front burner with the heat turned up gradually until August 25. Between now and then, the information needed about financial resources, relationships, and self-values related to creativity is illuminated with epiphanies!
In the early hours of August 12, Venus and Jupiter unite in emotionally sensitive Cancer with a showering of lady luck and good fortune! The opposition between Mars in Libra and Saturn/Neptune in Aries provides the ongoing tension to get the kite in the air with the flowing energy between Mars in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius. As the axiom, As Above, So Below, suggests, the planetary kite of energy is mirrored in the lives of humanity.
Therefore, Mars in Libra initiates actions through cooperation to put pressure on Saturn/Neptune in Aries to make a responsible commitment to an individual’s visionary path, which has the potential to include others with similar interests. The celestial week of August 4, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in the brillant rays of Leo, illuminating an opportunity to mirror the potential greatness of humanity through a personal reflection of one’s inner (childlike) self projected outward for a greater good.
Leo energy is ruled by the Sun, which is symbolized by a circle with a dot in the center. Thus, when positive perceptions are expressed from the heart center, genuine love flows from within as an individual light into the circle of the world of oneness. Yet, when the individual seeks attention from the world to experience itself, it can become convoluted as the ego without a true purpose of Oneness. In that sense, Leo energy craves the applause of the world as recognition of a power it does not personally possess.
On this particular day in time, there is a planetary kite formation represented by a grand trine of flowing energy between Uranus in Gemini, Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, and Mars in Virgo, so innovative ideas are harmoniously flowing for a greater good by active communication of congruent behaviors, as Mars in Virgo demonstrates through conscious and clear communication.
However, the caveat is that Mars is temporarily void of course (actions don’t produce desired results) until August 6, when it glides into political Libra to initiate balanced actions relative to opportunities through negotiations and compromises with win/win solutions.
Although it may be easier said than done, as Mars in Virgo is also opposing Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, suggesting that solutions may come with agendas. While Saturn and Neptune may agree for the time being, changes may be forthcoming later in the Fall when they both go direct.
Fortunately, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius form the adjacent sides of the kite, pointing upwards, with the potential to resolve the tension between Mars in Virgo and Saturn and Neptune in Aries, so the energy of the grand trine can be channeled to take flight!
The key is to become consistent and consciously aware that positive, congruent thoughts, words, and actions aligned to the outcome are the factors if the kite flies or doesn’t get off the ground. Therefore, projects relevant to the transformation of humanity can be a symbol of destiny taking flight for a greater good, which requires a sturdy construction that can stand the winds of change with precision and clarity of direction.
Meanwhile, the Moon is in bountiful Sagittarius, encouraging the creation of opportunities as it supports the Sun in Leo with emotional enthusiasm and a profound message to look to the past for insights relative to the future!
On the afternoon of August 5, the Moon settles into ambitious Capricorn with a serious emotional attitude about career goals and daily routines that appear to be stuck and dissolving simultaneously. However, the information required to get them moving isn’t forthcoming as Mars is void of course in Virgo, and Mercury is retrograde in Leo!
Personal relationships on the home front don’t fare much better as the Moon in Capricorn later opposes Venus and Jupiter in Cancer, and has no patience to tend to the emotional needs of others.
Mars shifts gears on the evening of August 6, as it moves into politically correct Libra, which it does not particularly care for! Mars is naturally impulsive and action-driven, with a get out of my way attitude so it can get on with it, whatever it is! Mars in Libra can become passive-aggressive when it has to stop and wait on others before it can put plans into action!
Mars in Libra is also stepping into the arena with Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, for the next few days, so temperatures may rise quickly when they don’t move fast enough to suit Mars!
In the early hours of August 7, the Sun arrives at fifteen degrees of Leo as it shifts into the gibbous phase of the solar year begun at the recent Spring Equinox. The nature of the gibbous phase is that of a wobble, as the first harvest of the seeds of intentions planted in the Spring produces an abundant or scarce harvest depending on the care that has been given since they were intended. This is a wobbly energy that provides an opportunity to revisit the intentions and evaluate them for revision before the second harvest comes at the Fall Equinox.
Later in the evening, the Moon flies into eclectic Aquarius with emotional detachment regarding friendships, networking, and group interactions. The Moon’s first planetary encounters are favorable with Mars in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, so emotional detachment sets the mood for brainstorming about actions regarding relationships, resources, and values, innovative ideas, active commitments to responsibilities, visionary actions, and transformation.
On the evening of August 8, 2025, Mars in Libra impulsively invites Saturn retrograde in Aries for a sparring match, to settle differences over actions required to move forward with business plans that have been on hold since mid-July. While Mars may win this round, Saturn isn’t getting on board with actions until late November.

The celestial week begins with the Sun rising in majestic Leo, illuminating an opportunity to choose between an established or innovative pathway to accomplish the purpose of individuality. Mercury retrograde stands in front of the Sun at twelve degrees of Leo with a message to rise above superficiality into receptivity and peace with others. (1)
When Mercury is retrograde, it appears to backtrack over previously covered degrees, revealing what was hidden or not obvious at the time. What is often neglected during the Mercury retrograde cycle is the relationship that Mercury has with the Sun, which creates the cycle itself, causing disruptions in schedules, travel, and other forms of communication.
As the Sun progresses through the degrees that Mercury had already traveled over, the Sun is illuminating what was occurring at that time. With that in mind, Mercury traveled over six degrees of Leo on July 1, 2025, with the message that the Sun is illuminating today. Thus, the opportunity to choose between an established or innovative direction occurred then, which is illuminated now relative to one’s purpose.
Why does it matter? Uranus and Venus are in Gemini, governed by Mercury, while the Moon and Mars are in Virgo, also governed by Mercury. Therefore, innovative ideas can yield connections relative to relationships and resources when planted in the field of Virgo, with precision and the emotional nurturing of faith.
The key is to continue to cultivate those seeds of intention with the awareness that the process of manifestation requires time and patience for a fruitful harvest.
As the Moon and Mars are closely united today, it is an opportunity to align positive thoughts, emotions, and actions with a creative intention that will produce a harvest beyond the vision of the intention.
The Moon will go void of course later in the evening, so it is a good time to clear the mind (the field of intentions), and relax so the seed thoughts can begin to germinate new ideas in a peaceful state under a crescent lunar phase.
Shortly after midnight on July 29, the Moon glides gracefully into relationship-oriented Libra with an agenda to gain financial resources and support through ideas relevant to computers, software, audio projects, writing, and other forms of communication. Libra has a talent for artful and savvy persuasion, which is accentuated by Venus, the diplomat of Libra, cruising through communicative Gemini!
Just before the day ends on July 30, Venus wades into the emotional waters of Cancer for the next few weeks, so tears may flow easily at the drop of a hat, feelings may be worn on the sleeve, and comfort, home-cooked meals, and family activities are on the menu. The key is to keep in mind that the volume on sensitivity and vulnerability is turned up; therefore, being gentle with oneself and others will help keep the pressure-cooker energy from increasing.
On the afternoon of July 31, the Moon slips into the depths of the subconscious as it moves into penetrating Scorpio, with a quest to seek hidden information from or about friendships to confirm what is already suspected. Mars is the warden of Scorpio, and is traveling through conscious-minded Virgo, with a message to look within personal trustworthy behaviors before projecting them onto others. Otherwise, those projections may come back with a few of their own!
Later in the evening, Mercury retrograde in Leo unites with the Sun in Leo with a flashing yellow light about the Mercury retrograde cycle. While it is too soon to step on the gas regarding projects and plans on the back burner, it is a turning point in the process. At this point in the cycle, the implication is to move forward and proceed with caution about relationship or partnership commitments.
On the morning of August 1, Venus in Cancer challenges Saturn retrograde in Aries about dragging its heels over commitments to career goals, financial and emotional security, and family matters. The caveat is that Saturn retrograde in Aries is working on all of these concerns, but it is a work in progress. Thus, patience and understanding are not only necessary, but it is the difference that makes a difference in everything working out smoothly over time.
Later in the afternoon, the patience of Venus in Cancer is quickly evaporating with Neptune retrograde in Aries, who seems to be confused about what is the perceived issues over delayed actions and misinformation about joint resources and intimate relationships.

The celestial week of July 21, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in fluid-moving Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to consider the value of new beginnings relative to home and family by comparisons and similarities. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and the Moon’s gravitational pull generates a tidal force upon the ocean. Interestingly enough, the astrological influence of Cancer is characterized as the movement of emotions based on automatic responses to stimuli, preceding the physical sensations experienced with the body as a signal to pay attention to what is being felt.
When the Sun travels through the constellation of Cancer, this experience is heightened and often is the basis of unconsciously projecting them onto others as psychically insightful impressions. While the impression may be accurate, they may also be what is being felt by others and experienced by oneself. The key to experiencing the higher vibration of the Sun in Cancer is being able to distinguish what is about yourself or what is being experienced by someone else, yet feels like it is yours. This ability is valuable in the process of authentically creating personal reality with congruent emotional feelings, or experiencing what others desire for you.
Meanwhile, the Moon is two-stepping through flighty Gemini with an emotional message relative to the shifting energy of friendships and values. The lunar phase between the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Gemini became balsamic minutes before the Sun rose. The energy of this lunar phase is indicative of an opportunity to release what no longer works or is the highest good of all concerned. As such, friendships and relationships that are not on the same page of relating may go by the wayside abruptly.
The Moon’s first planetary encounter is with evolutionary, unpredictable Uranus in Gemini, followed by breakfast with grumpy Saturn retrograde in Aries and Neptune still not awake retrograde in Aries, before engaging favorably with transformational Pluto retrograde in Aquarius!
What does that mean? Hang onto whatever is handy, it’s going to be a bumpy ride! Gemini energy is witty, quick, and entertaining, so it could also be fun as intuitive emotional insights give information about what is working and what isn’t, what to do about it, or just let it go without emotional attachment.
Before the day ends, Venus in Gemini challenges the North Node in Pisces with chatty conversation about nothing, which irritates the North Node, who only wants to experience a peaceful evening without meaningless chatter. However, Venus in Gemini is governed by Mercury retrograde in Leo, so there may be a price to pay for the retreating in silence when Venus wants to play!
Just before the work day begins on July 22, the Moon wades into the emotional pool of Cancer for a cup of coffee, only to discover that Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries have emptied the pot! Needless to say, the morning starts with a hint of frustration that may increase with traffic delays! Later in the morning, the Moon addresses Pluto retrograde in Aquarius with an attitude adjustment about a lack of information regarding an important deadline!
Shortly after, the tension increases as the Sun announces its entry into grandiose Leo with an unexpected shift in position to save grace over recent chaotic changes related to news, media, and the freedom of speech on a world stage! While the Sun appears to have the support of Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries, as well as Uranus in Gemini, Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is having none of it, as confrontations are evident over authoritative overreaching power plays! The caveat is that Mercury is retrograde in Leo and has a great deal to reveal about the status of what has been hidden!
In the early hours of July 23, relationship challenges continue as Pluto in Gemini discovers what has been hidden and confronts Mars in Virgo with evidence! Both Venus in Gemini and Mars in Virgo are ruled by Mercury, the messenger retrograde in Leo, so the cat is out of the bag, as Mercury shines a bright light on the truth!
On July 24, the Moon joins the Sun and Mercury, on the stage of Leo, to add some emotional drama to unfolding events that have captured national attention! Saturn and Neptune, retrograde in Aries, continue to stand by without taking action to restrain the grandstanding of the Leo actors, as Pluto retrograde in Aquarius prepares to confront them over issues related to power, freedom, and equality, or rather the lack of it being demonstrated as the show goes on!
Later in the afternoon, the Sun and Moon unite in Leo with grand gestures of egotistic pride that fools no one, as Pluto retrograde in Aquarius continues to illuminate controlling power plays with unpredictable resistance! The caveat is that as Mercury continues to retrograde in Leo, more information will come to light that may weaken negotiations and compromises intended to balance upcoming confrontations with equitable solutions.

The celestial week begins with the Sun rising in retrospective Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to share higher knowledge gleaned from past experiences with others to reconnect with spiritual ideals. Cancer energy is governed by the Moon drifting through visionary Pisces, restoring the reconnection with emotional faith.
Meanwhile, Jupiter, the daily ruler of Pisces, is also flowing through watery Cancer with an opportunity to emulate higher forms of authority by choosing to respond to circumstances instead of reacting. At the same time, Neptune, the transcendental ruler of Pisces, is doing a backstroke in action-oriented Aries, testing the patience of a saint!
Saturn has joined the backwards motion in Aries; thus, responsible actions to handle impatience are up to Mars in Virgo to communicate appropriate boundaries. However, Mercury is the planetary communicator and is in Leo and in the shadow of retrograde motion. Therefore, Mars is on its own to manage responsible actions, communication, and daily routines.
The emotional climate shifts just before midnight as the Moon blazes into temperamental Aries with a fiery desire to burn emotional bridges with others who are unwilling to resolve ongoing issues with direct communication. The caveat is that there is a tendency for Aries energy to jump the gun with premature actions that don’t offer solutions. Thus, the key is to think before reacting and be willing to listen or consider how the other person is experiencing your communication.
Otherwise, Mars, the ruling warrior of Aries, is traveling through conscious Virgo, and may react with words sharper than knives that cut through the chase, and potentially harm relationships needlessly. The celestial week of July 7, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in sensitive, caring Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to gain control over one’s inner and outer life by opening one’s heart to new realizations about relating. The caveat is that the caretaker of Cancer is the Moon, who is traveling through enthusiastic Sagittarius with an emotional need to expand creative horizons, instead of wading into a deep pond of emotions to explore feelings relative to childhood, home, and family.
Yet, Jupiter, the philosophical ruler of Sagittarius, has just relocated to Cancer and is stirring up unresolved or unhealed emotional experiences of the past twelve years for resolutions, so that new growth, expansion, and opportunities can be cultivated.
However, as the Moon in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Cancer are exchanging astrological signs, they are inclined to work together to release emotional issues. Although each one goes about it differently, it requires a shift of perception from each to obtain the desired results. Thus, teasing fun may soothe abrupt emotional outbursts to relieve the building tension.
If there seems to be an unpredictable shift in the air over impending changes, it could be because Uranus arrived in Gemini before the sun came up, where it will reside until November 2025, before it retrogrades back into earthly, calm Taurus until April 2026.
Hence, there is a four-month preview of which way the winds of change are blowing relative to information, broadcasting, freedom of speech, air travel, AI, electronic devices, and unpredictable weather events due to air, water, and fire that erupts uncontrollably.
The key to navigating Uranus in Gemini during the next several years, who is in cahoots with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, and Saturn and Neptune in Aries, is in the awareness and power of thoughts, language, actions, vision, and responsibility to create the nature of personal and collective reality.
On a personal level, shifts in consciousness occur with curiosity, intuitive insights, fearless actions, inspirational visions, and responsible attitudes can lead to the quick development of innovative ideas and projects.
On a collective level, the last time Uranus traveled through Gemini was between 1941 – 1949, which included the end of WW II, the beginning of the Cold War, and the start of the nuclear age. There were also significant developments in radio broadcasting, computers, and early forms of mass media, among many other changes in revolutionary technology.
By the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, the country and the birthchart of the United States of America were born, with Uranus in Gemini. With this evolutionary planet in the airy sign of Gemini, liberty, freedom, and equality would become the foundation of a nation worth fighting for and preserving. Every eighty-four years after the USA would be involved in a war protecting those freedoms. In 1775-1783, it was the American Revolutionary War, in 1861-1865, the American Civil War, and in 1939-1945, World War II.
As Uranus travels through Gemini between July 2025-2033, will there be another chapter in history about the war in the US for equality, or will war become obsolete as a folly of superiority? Perhaps, the answer lies in the heart and mind of every citizen in the United States as humanity collectively and consciously creates a reality of peace or passively allows unlearned lessons from the past to continue influencing the present.
In the early hours of July 9, the Moon begins to climb an emotional mountain of Capricorn to establish an appropriate protocol of respect for relating as an acceptable code of conduct for all ages. The fly in the ointment is that Saturn, the CEO of Capricorn, is impulsively racing through hair-trigger Aries without a thought or plan for the consequences, instead of leading with authority. Saturn in Aries tends to take everything personally, resorting to temper tantrums when it has to obey the rules.
However, Mars is the superintendent of Aries and is positioned in conscious Virgo, to assist the Moon in Capricorn with wayward, unruly adults acting like children. Yet, Mercury, the messenger of Virgo, is in the shadow of its upcoming retrograde cycle, so addressing resistance from the heavy-handed behaviors of Saturn in Aries, aided by Neptune in Aries. Thus, it may require a great deal of patience and perseverance to gain any traction. There may be some relief when Saturn joins Neptune in retrograde motion on July 12.
The full moon occurs on July 10, as the Sun in Cancer opposes the Moon in Capricorn, illuminating the cooperation necessary to commit to relieving responsible adults from carrying the weight of responsibility for adult children.
The emotional climate shifts unexpectedly after lunch on July 11, as the Moon announces its presence in emotionally detached Aquarius. The Moon’s first planetary encounter is with Saturn in Aries, followed by Neptune in Aries, with intuitive insights to shift the current narrative of reckless behaviors. The Moon then aligns with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius to strategize power moves to regain control without appearing to.

The celestial week of June 30, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in ambitious Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to learn lessons about what is and what isn’t possible, to achieve desires of emotional security and stability. As the Sun in Cancer is highly sensitive to the emotions of others, it can often assume the emotions of others without being consciously aware that the emotions being felt are not its own. Hence, the protective shell that the Cancer crab wears as armor to safeguard their internal feelings.
The Moon is the caretaker of Cancer and is traveling through methodical Virgo, assessing whose feelings they are experiencing, if they don’t feel familiar or have a reason to feel them. Mercury is the communicator of Virgo and began the Mercury retrograde cycle in powerful Leo this morning, before the Sun came up. Therefore, communication is in the spotlight until September 2, when it moves into Virgo to make sense of events and circumstances occurring during the summer.
When Mercury is in grandstanding Leo, it can bite off more than it can chew in the context of creativity, children, and romantic relationships. During this time, it is easy to jump on the rah-rah bandwagon without having the correct information required to address agendas and objections. Thus, it is wise between now and September 2 to research ideas, contacts, and the pros and cons of ideas, plans, and projects before committing to them, as the initial stage of the Mercury retrograde now is a preview of the cycle when it goes retrograde on July 17, 2025.
Therefore, plans for vacations, weddings, entertainment festivals, and child-related activities are on center stage relative to potential issues around travel delays and miscommunication. This Mercury retrograde cycle may also reflect going over budgets with extravagant purchases to impress others or elevate one’s status.
As the Moon continues to travel through Virgo until the afternoon of July 1, it is wise to check and double-check the clarity of emotional communication to avoid any errors of assumptions. It is also a great time to gauge the maintenance needs or requirements of vehicles relative to engines overheating, before Mercury goes retrograde, as Mars is in Virgo, and repairs will likely be reasonable and done with precision.
When the Moon enters relationship and values-conscious Libra on the afternoon of July 1, a mixed bag of emotional responses, reactions, conflicts, confrontations, and attitude adjustments is on the menu!
The Moon begins the Libra dance of emotional relating with Saturn and Neptune in Aries to request their participation in agendas, projects, and plans, which they are not on board with. Therefore, it may feel like doors are closing regarding supportive assistance, as calls, texts, and emails go unanswered, which could set up confrontations if the Moon in Libra were unpolitically correct.
However, it is, and the Moon in Libra is undeterred as it assigns Saturn and Neptune to the back burner, while moving on to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, who is usually more likely to get on board with the Moon in Libra, yet is it retrograde so that may be another softer no until the fall season.
The Moon in Libra then approaches the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer for support, which it may get if it sweetens the connection with a commitment to take care of the process from start to finish. Otherwise, it could become a conflict if the Moon expects to disarm with charm instead of responsibility.
The Moon then attempts to gain access to Mercury in Leo, who has become unobtainable until August 25! Last but not least, the Moon in Libra delivers a too good to be true campaign to Venus and Uranus in Taurus for financial support, but only receives attitude adjustments for its efforts!
Finally, the Moon in Libra gets the drift that taking time off now to regroup a better strategy for success is the best use of time and energy!
The intensity of the emotional landscape shifts significantly in the early hours of July 4, when the Moon slips into the subconscious terrain of Scorpio to investigate what is being emotionally hidden. The Moon in Scorpio has a laser and uncanny sense when something is not transparent, and will be like a dog on a bone until it is!
Mars is the daily supervisor of Scorpio and is in Virgo, taking the day off for a long weekend off to celebrate the 4th of July, until it is potentially called back for duty on the home front. While Mercury, the messenger of Virgo, is in grandiose Leo, putting on a show as a distraction to hide what is going on, and will begin to be revealed on July 17, when Mercury goes retrograde.
A few hours later, the United States begins a new solar return cycle for 2025-2026, with an appearance of shining a light on what is going on behind the scenes, relative to its strength and power as a nation. The Moon in Scorpio in the US return is powerfully covert in keeping secrets about what is being carried on under the guise of its citizens, who are trusting what is communicated less and paying more attention to actions.
Shortly after, Venus and Uranus unite in calm and peace-loving Taurus with an evolutionary agenda of unpredictable changes relative to values and freedom to be played out on a world stage!
Fortunately, before lunch, Venus moves out of earthy Taurus to fly into fun-loving, mischievous, and flirty Gemini to lighten the seriousness of recent news cycles! Although Venus in Gemini will likely take the edge off of mounting tensions of the summer season, a goddess can only do so much on her own! So, Venus will do her best to engage the assistance of Mercury in Leo to join her for some much-needed comedic, theatrical relief!

The celestial week of June 23, 2025, begins with the Sun rising in emotionally charged Cancer, illuminating an opportunity to preserve and progress slowly to regain a feeling of security that comes from within instead of external circumstances.
As the Sun shines its light upon the emotional waters of Cancer, the position of the Moon during the next few weeks will reflect the emotional fluctuating temperature every two and a half days, depending on the element of energy that the Moon is passing through and its lunar phase to the Sun.
As the Moon moves through a fire sign, tempers may flare without warning, road rage may occur out of nowhere, emotional feelings are more impulsive and demonstrative, while actions can occur quickly, dramatically, or expansively.
When the Moon enters an earth sign, emotional feelings are guided and grounded through practicality, reasonability, and self-values relative to financial resources, career goals, ambitions, and power, with an attitude of cut and dry, make the most of what you have, and then make more!
As the Moon flies through an air sign, feelings are qualified through mental communication, equality, and detachment, with a need for emotional space and the room to change one’s mind quickly as the moment dictates!
When the Moon takes a dip in water, feelings are more sensitive, vulnerable, and psychic, which is experienced through caretaking, intensely hidden behind a calm exterior, or unconsciously about home, family, children, and emotional security.
As the Moon breezes through airy Gemini, it reflects a need to speak one’s mind about feelings precipitated by recent news events, as a way to process the potential implications of the unknown. The caveat is that the Moon in Gemini is fleeting and lighthearted, so if conversation gets too heavy, it will fly off quickly to emotionally distract from it.
The current lunar phase of the Sun in Cancer and the Moon in Gemini is balsamic, offering an opportunity to release emotional concerns about security, negative emotions, and limiting decisions that may be unconsciously surfacing or triggered.
Before the Sun rose in Cancer this morning, it squared off with Neptune in Aries with a sizzling challenge to take actions based on emotions without knowing the outcome. If it feels familiar, it is due to the escalating tension of a water planet in a fire sign, and the Sun in a water sign, which neither is comfortable in!
The caveat is that there doesn’t appear to be a way through the steamy stress without setting something or someone off. Thus, it is easy to push the envelope without considering the repercussions. The key to treading the fires of change now is to practice the ability to emotionally respond instead of reacting without thinking. So count to three or ten, take a few deep breaths, speak slowly and quietly, or let silence and walking away provide the solution.
In the early hours of June 24, Mercury in Cancer squares off with Chiron in Aries as Mercury receives messages in dreams that may stir up unconscious wounds lurking beneath the surface, and that Chiron in Aries challenges Mercury to rip the band-aid off and get on with life. Easier said than done, as Mercury in Cancer is sensitive to reliving the past to be rid of it.
Later in the morning, the Sun and Jupiter unite in Cancer, highlighting an opportunity to stand up for oneself with a message of emotional clarity, and a desire to integrate Spirit, soul, and body, with the ability to fly off on one’s own in good time.
Before the day ends, the Moon wades into the emotional pond of Cancer to turn a corner relative to creativity, children, romance, and the inner child with caring and unconditional love. The lunar phase is still balsamic, providing an ideal opportunity to release the past in preparation for the new beginning at the new moon in Cancer.
In the early hours of June 25, the new moon cycle in Cancer arrives amid a flurry of planetary interactions on the cosmic menu of new beginnings and huge opportunities relative to home, family, and emotional security. However, the opportunities hinge on taking actions with mental clarity and handling unpredictable chaos with a detached attitude and adjustments.

Fortunately, the Moon shifts gears shortly after lunch when it drifts into elusive Pisces, and is more than ready to escape the drama trauma! The Moon’s first planetary encounter is favorable with Jupiter in Cancer, which may help soften the rough edges of Jupiter’s recent emotional challenges with the authority of Saturn in Aries!
In the early hours of June 17, Mars leaves the grandstanding stage of Leo as it ventures into meticulous, hardworking Virgo for the next few weeks. Mercury is the planetary manager of Virgo, and is floating in the emotional pond of Cancer with an opportunity to consciously communicate feelings from the depths of the unconscious realms of consciousness. Thus, dreams, hypnosis, and meditations may be the environment Mars in Virgo is working through and may promote healing of childhood or family experiences.
In the early evening of June 18, the emotional climate shifts quickly as the Moon races into impulsive Aries with an emotional attitude adjustment for Mars in Virgo, who may have unintentionally stepped on personal boundaries with a critical perception about the Moon’s tendency to emotionally react instead of respond to others without enough information. Wow! That’s only throwing gas on a fire that’s ready to ignite, as Saturn and Neptune stand by the Moon in Aries if push comes to shove! Pluto retrograde in Aquarius supports the planetary trio in Aries to gain control of circumstances that may become out of control, as Mars in Virgo and Jupiter in Cancer continue to engage with the sword-like words of Mars in Virgo, and Jupiter’s expansive emotions!
Later in the evening, Jupiter in Cancer may escalate the growing tension with Neptune in Aries into a challenging conflict by sharing unsolicited opinions over personal and sensitive issues. While Jupiter in Cancer means well, minor disagreements can expand into major conflicts if it attempts to have the last word! It’s like trying to put out an ocean of fire with a rainstorm, only to increase the temperature of the rain to a boiling point!
On the evening of June 20, the Moon quietly strolls into calm Taurus, offering an opportunity to take the edge off of the last couple of days with music, fine dining, and a gentle touch. As the Moon joins Venus and Uranus in Taurus, the next couple of days may feel like a soothing balm to the soul, as the ongoing mixture of air and fire keeps the emotional climate stirred up.
Shortly after, the Sun moves into sensitive and vulnerable Cancer as the Summer Solstice occurs in the Northern Hemisphere. This is the first quarter phase of the solar year and signifies an opportunity to reorient the focus of the intentions planted as the Spring Equinox to support the upcoming harvest in a few months.
There is also a tendency to take impulsive actions based on emotions without knowing the outcome, as a leap of faith for the future manifestation of those intentions. As Saturn and Neptune are both in action-oriented Aries, and the Sun, Jupiter, and Mercury are in emotional Cancer, those impulses are magnified!
